Sirène Vin Chateau
Sirène Vin Chateau is a famous winery in Mendoza Valley, Argentinstan attracting wine enthusiasts, tourists, and company representatives from around the globe. The winery is a host of the Decemberfest (Mendozan wine festival), taking part in the festivities and the parade since 1956. The winery has operations around the globe as well but the quality and the aging of the wines it produces is managed all under the watchful eye of the Jean-Michael Bossun, the owner of the winery.
The winery has been producing wines since its foundation in 1749, the oldest winery in the nation. Wines are produced and bottled around the world, with the most exquisite and fine being from the valleys of Mendoza.
- HISTORY
Sirène Vin Chateau was founded by the Emmanuel Bossun, an immigrant from France, in 1749 in the Mendoza Valley. It originally was intended to be the Bossun family residence but after the surrounding areas gained prominence in winemaking and attracted tourists from around the nation, Bossun started the vineyard into a wine business.
The winery was handed down from generation to generation as a family business, eventually being the oldest winery in the nation and having many facilities, vineyards, and chalets around the world.
It started participating in the Decemberfest wine festival in Mendoza in 1956, with the release of its 100 year aged wines -- the first of which was poured for then-Preisdent Isabel Peron.
- WINERIES/VINEYARDS
Sirène Vin Chateau owns several wineries and vineyards across the world but all are managed in sync with all the others. They all grow premium grapes, produce wine, and then some are sent to distilleries while others are sent directly to our Mendoza vineyard for bottling.
Reine-roche Vignoble (Mendoza, Argentinstan)
Reine-roche Vignoble is the original vineyard of Sirène Vin Chateau and has been in operation since 1749. The vineyard grows many varieties of grapes and it is famous for its Pinot noir wines, producing a mere 15 bottles of it monthly. The location of this vineyard also makes its wines premium and organic. The high altitude prevents insects and other mosquitoes from entering the grapes, therefore, no pesticides and other chemicals are used.
