We are announcing the delivery of 2 A340-541 series planes for Northern Flight, our government transport subsidiary. They have retained their VIP interiors and will be used strictly for government transport missions to transport the Dreamlinersian President and heads of state on diplomatic trips. We look forward to operating these planes in the government fleet for a long time.Dreamlinersian News Agencies, as well as planespotters and photographers covered the arrival of the newest Government Transport plane, painted in the current livery and registered A9-007 as it landed at Dreamliner International Airport, the main base of operations for Northern Flight, in the late evening hours after a long ferry flight from Arthropol, where the planes were previously operated. An Antonov AN-124 Ruslan of Arthropol Airlines Cargo landed behind the A340, carrying spare engines and maintainence parts requested to maintain the two planes and the second A340-541, registered A9-008 landed immediately behind the AN-124. The planes themselves are 12 years old at the time of acquisition, and are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 500 series engines, designed off of the Rolls Royce RB-211 engines that power a majority of the mainline and freighter fleet. The planes have extensive range, which is a good advantage for the nonstop government trips where a 747 is deemed too large and the VIP interior is perfect for government use. Crews familiar with the A330 are being trained on the A340, both for Northern Flight and possible introduction of the A340 type into the mainline fleet. These two new planes are worthy acquisitions to the Northern Flight Fleet.

We are announcing orders placed at the Dubai Airshow for 6 more 747-8i airliners for the mainline fleet as well as 14 747-8F freighters and 20 options including 10 777F freighters and 20 options for Northern Cargo. Orders were also placed for 2 more of the A380-800 and another 10 firm orders for the A350-900ULR with 10 options, due to raving success with the A350-900ULRs leased from Arthropol airlines. Northern Airways also placed a 10 option order for the 777-9 airliner to be finalized at a later date. These new aircraft orders are due to a boom in air travel in the nation and route expansions, further expanding Northern Airways as a firm International airline, in both passenger and freight service. The Dubai Airshow was quite a sight to see all the new planes being unveiled to the air market, and to see the trends for the aviation industry itself as they progress from year to year.

We are announcing the delivery of two new aircraft for the mainline fleet. Both are the new 747-8I, the newest variant to Boeing’s “Queen of the Skies”. The new planes, registered A9-301 and A9-302, will be put in mainline service alongside our 747-400 Jumbo jets we have in service. With the delivery of the new planes, that brings the orders to 14 firm. We are proud to take delivery of these new, beautiful planes for our fleet and we look forward to having them in service for a very long time.

We are announcing the delivery of our second Airbus A350-900 airliner into Northern Airways service, registered A9-300 and named “Horizons”. It is a beautiful machine, powered by the Rolls Royce Trent XWB, manufactured specifically for the A350 line. It is another aircraft that utilizes Rolls Royce engines, which power most of the aircraft types in our fleet. This is the second A350-900 delivered to Northern Airways bringing the order book down to 8 firm and 10 options. The A350 itself is the newest in aircraft technology and we look forward to procuring more when the orders currently open are filled.

We are announcing the delivery of 6 new aircraft for the mainline fleet. They are A330-200 series planes purchased from Arthropol airlines and Fyodorian airways, fresh from the paintshop and reregistered. In the meantime, several new planes were also delivered, fresh from manufacture or purchased secondhand. We have also begun running domestic services within Arthropol, using 767-300ER planes and Arthropol City International Airport has now become one of our major focus cities. We have also purchased several new planes for the fleet from Arthropol's airlines; Arthropol Airlines, Air Atlantique, and Air Inter. The new fleet introductions, (Once repainted and maintained), are the Airbus A340-213X running CFM International CFM56-5C4 engines and coming from Arthropol Airlines, the Airbus A300B4-622R running Pratt & Whitney PW4158 engines coming from Air Inter, the Airbus A340-643 running Rolls Royce Trent 560A2-61 engines from Arthropol Airlines and a few more Jumbo jets added by means of the Boeing 747-400 running Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines from Air Atlantique. Northern Cargo is expecting more A310-300 freighters and Northern shuttle is integrating a new type of plane into their fleet which is the A320 series, consisting of 35 of the A320 type. They will run alongside the Northern Shuttle 737 fleet consisting of 737-700 planes, reintroduced 737-300 planes, and recently acquired 737-400 series planes in an all economy layout. We may be on our way to running the largest fleet of planes in Nationstates.

Northern Engineering has begun testing of a new aircraft modification developed to improve safety of the plane and occupants aboard. The modification is known as the ‘Enhanced Aircraft and Avionics Package’ (EAAP) under development by Northern Engineering based off of similar technology used on the JSE KC-101 Andromeda Tanker made by the Dreamlinersian aerospace firm Jetliner Standard Engineering, the aircraft manufacturer of The Dreamliners. The EAAP system is currently being tested on a Boeing 767-300F(ER) Freighter temporarily pulled out of service to test the modification. Other modifications proposed are low pressure tires for rough and unprepared airstrips, strengthened landing gear components, enhanced avionics including GPS and 3D terrain views for routes, chevron technology for noise reduction and adaptation for biofuel conversion to meet our goal of using completely renewable fuel by 2025. We hope successful testing of these modifications help to improve aircraft safety, reliability, and efficiency.
