(Yea, we are PMT, utilizing types of technology like user-enhancing armor and similar devices that's somewhat further in the future, but we still use "Old World" (MT) tech dating 1980-2010, which explains the Cold War-era aircraft and 1970s-style weapon designs. Though we follow 2017, current year, we're based in a slightly different Earth with radically alternate history that split off in 2012. It's rather complicated and hard to explain, I need to make a factbook on it soon.)
