Tiger Airways is the flagship airline of Stacramon. It hasn't always been that way though, but Tiger Airways has been around since airplanes became a mainstream method of transportation in Stacramon, which was in 1973. The first ever flight that was sent out by Tiger Airways was done on March 13, 1973. It was made by the pilots Gary Wilport, who was the founder of the airline, and Jerdel Gene, who was the one who founded Capiton Airport in Stratison City. The flight flew out of Capiton Airport in Stratison City, Stratison and landed at El Aeropuerto Amor (translates to The Love Airport) in Dereju, Chalq. The plane's name was Tiger 1, and it still operates today.

After Tiger 1's first flight, more of the Tiger Series planes were made. From March to December of 1973, twenty more Tiger planes had been manufactured, which were named Tiger 2-21 respectively. Up until 1975, Tiger Airlines only flew out of Stratison City to other airports and back. That changed on February 2, 1975 when Gary Wilport had ordered enough Tiger Series planes to be able to fly out of El Aeropuerto Amor in Dereju, Chalq and Libreta Airport in Libreta, Nombora. At that point, 73 Tiger Series airplanes has been produced.
In 1993, over 3,000 Tiger Series planes had been produced with hundreds more coming by the month. At that point, Tiger Airways was flying out of every city with more than 100,000 people in the Stacramite Empire. Still, they were getting beaten out by other Stacramite airlines. Their top three competitors were, and still are, Majoris Airlines, Aerolineas Celestiales, and Dare Air. At that point, Tiger Airways was #4 out of those airlines in popularity. This sparked the birth of the Lion Series airplanes.

The Lion Series planes were insanely different and more fancy than any other plane produced by Tiger Airways or their competitors. For one thing, they were two stories tall. The second was that the entire plane was first class. Essentially what Tiger Airways did here was make buying first class a bit more expensive. However, for that slightly higher price, you got to fly on a complete luxury plane. This allowed for Tiger Airways to save money and gain more seating space on Tiger Series planes because they no longer had to provide for first class and the extra leg room made famous by first class seats was no longer necessary.
After 1,000 Lion Series planes had been produced, they had become a massive hit. Tiger Airways shot up to Stacramon's #1 most popular airline almost immediately after the Lion Series planes had been introduced and put into circulation in January of 1996. The Lion Series planes are still wildly popular today.
The Lion Series planes allowed for Tiger Airways to be the Stacramite Empire's most popular airline up until about 2005, or nine years after the Lion Series planes were introduced. The reason for this was because Dare Air, who is Tiger Airways' biggest competitor, introduced the Dare Air Care Packages, which are still in circulation. Essentially, for every five flights you fly with Dare Air in coach, you receive a Dare Air Care Package. Inside a Dare Air Care Package, there will be at least one 100% first class coupon, and at most there could be five coupons. If there are less than five, you can get anywhere from 1-4 50% off coupons based on how many 100% off coupons there were. No matter what, there will be five coupons in the package.
Because of the Dare Air Care Packages, Dare Air and Tiger Airways were in a fierce battle. Up until that point, Dare Air had been a solid second place, but Tiger Airways was always the top dog. Now Dare air and Tiger Airways would trade off the top spot at least weekly. That all changed when Tiger Airways introduced 80% Off Days. Twice every month, there would be one day where if you were to buy a Lion Series ticket (which replaced first class tickets for obvious reasons) for any day, the price would be slashed by 80%. These days always fall on Fridays which is when Tiger Airways gets the most ticket traffic. Since Tiger Airways did this, Dare Air has tried many things to bounce back, but they have been completely unsuccessful. Tiger Airways has been the top dog ever since.
You might be thinking that the Dare Air Care Package sounds like a way better deal. That's because it is. The reason, however, why Tiger Airways won the day in the end is because they are a way better airline. You have to pass a rigorous and thorough personality test to make sure you are nice and polite enough to become a flight attendant on a Tiger Series flight. You have to pass an even more thorough test to be able to be an attendant for a Lion Series flight. Before Dare Air or Tiger Airways introduced their new deals in 2005, Tiger Airways had a 100% satisfaction rating on Lion Series flights and a 89% satisfaction rating on Tiger Series flights. Dare Air had a 90% satisfaction rating on first class flights and a 78% satisfaction rating on coach flights. It is clear who wins the day. Tiger Airways didn't fight back hard against Dare because they didn't have to.
