Cable News Network or CNN was founded in 1980 as the world's first 24/7 news network. Over the years, CNN has grown to become the largest broadcaster in the United Nations of Earthlings. The company is owned 28% by Taitung Pinyin-based Teltik Communications and 20% by Kapum International Holdings. Paleno-based Velcom owns the remaining 52%.
Teltik previously held the exclusive rights to broadcast CNN content on mobile devices but such agreement was ended in August 2017. Now it streams on many carriers including Connectarg and Velcom.
CNN is split into 5 separate networks. There is a CNN Network, which covers a wide range of events, CNN International, which covers international events, CNN Money, which covers financial and economic issues, CNN Spanish, covering events in Spanish, and finally CNN TV, which has a wide range of TV Shows and cartoons.
CNN Network (CNN Newsroom)
Offering a wide range of international news, events, and issues broadcasting in nations around the world. CNN Network airs 24/7 with the three main airtimes being in the morning (6am to 8am) where activities from overnight are covered, the midday news (2pm to 4pm) where breaking news from over the day is covered and the most popular, the evening news (6pm to 10pm) where headlines from the day is covered. The CNN Network is hosted on channel 1. It is also available online at www.CNN.arg.
CNN International
Offering international issues, events, and news, CNN International broadcasts around the world. CNN International airs at 8am to 9am, 1pm to 2pm, and 5 pm to 6pm. The show airs from our studios in around the world. It is hosted on channel 2. It is also available online at www.CNN.arg/international.
CNN Money
Financial events, stock market news, and economics are covered in CNN Money. CNN Money airs during the CNN Network times but also has its own air time from 10am to 11am. It is hosted on channel 3. It is also available online at www.CNN.arg/finance.
CNN Politics
Political events, elections, and worldwide congressional/parliamentry afffairs are covered in CNN Politics. CNN Politics is hosted during 12pm to 1pm and later in the night at 7:30pm to 8:30pm. It is hosted on channel 4. It is also available online at www.CNN.arg/politics.
CNN Español
Formerly CNN Spanish, CNN Español combines the CNN Network, CNN International, and CNN Money into one Spanish program that airs at 11am to 1pm. It is hosted on channel 5. It is also available online at www.sp.CNN.arg.
CNN Français
CNN Français combines the CNN Network, CNN International, and CNN Money into one French language program that airs at 11am to 1pm. It is hosted on channel 7. It is also available online at www.fr.CNN.arg.
CNN 中文
CNN 中文 combines the CNN Network, CNN International, and CNN Money into one Chinese (Mandarin) program that airs at 11am to 1pm. It is hosted on channel 6. It is also available online at www.CNN.arg/language/chinese.
CNN TV
CNN TV is a CNN channel devoted to CNN-franchised TV shows and cartoons. It airs everyday for different shows but also has Saturday morning cartoons airing from 7am to 9am. It is hosted on channel 8. A schedule of shows is below:
CNN Print
A separate sector individual from the rest of CNN, is CNN Print. CNN Print is a group of newspapers that are part of CNN but operate autonomously. CNN Print is composed of the Argentinstan Chronicle, L.A. Times, and the Miami Herald.
