The Finance Ministry of Populi-Terrae and the Ministry of Corrections have come together to create a program of indentured servitude. Every prisoner in Terraen territory is liable to be summarily separated from the prison population and sent to work for a client overseas for a pre-determined period of time in exchange for lesser sentences. They have signed contracts in which they understand that their pay and accommodation will be organized by their new client. The client, meanwhile, has to show evidence that they are paying the workers and treating them humanely.
These criminals are beyond rehabilitation and have exhausted all avenues of appeal. They are also over 18.
There are varying degrees of work the servant may do, depending on the crimes of the inmate. This is only a summary of what indentured servants can do. But make sure your work fits their crime.
Drug users/smugglers/sellers (Priced up to $100 per servant)
Anyone found guilty of using, smuggling or selling narcotics can be forced to do carpentry work and they can also do work in fast food establishments.
Murderers ($250 per servant)
Murderers can be forced to work on architecture projects and factory work
Those accused of crimes involving children ($400 per servant)
These criminals can be forced to work in mines and in sewers. These particular clients will be outfitted with tracking collars and RFID chips. The Terraen government will not be held responsible if this particular category of criminal escapes from the client's custody.
Rapists ($800 per servant)
Whatever the client wants them to do.
