Who We Are

Langhús Brewing is one of the oldest continually operating breweries in Sessrúmnir, not to mention the world, going back to the Viking Age. Our name comes from the name for Viking long houses, which were social halls where beer and food were prepared and served. To this day all of our brew houses and our main serving hall are built to mimic the style of the longhouse of yore, although considerably larger and of modern construction.

The main serving hall is appropriately called Valhöll. Portraits of fallen heroes are hung on the walls and on Remembrance Day their citations for valor are read and toasts are given in their honor. On that day all proceeds are donated to the Valkyrie Fund, which is dedicated to helping the families of slain warriors.

Each beer we brew has its own dedicated brew house, where the beers go through the entire production process. Special brewery-only barrel aged editions are aged and kept in cellars below each brew house.

Ordering and Notes

Pricing: Prices reflect the cost of beer, the kegs they're shipped in, and shipping itself.
Ordering: Availability is fixed since we only have so much excess production capacity. Availability will be constantly updated and once all product is spoken for in a given year no more can be ordered. That said, we are more than happy to accommodate orders beyond 2018. We do ask that orders be given in multiples of 15 gallons, since that is the capacity of the kegs.

To Whom It May Concern,

Regretfully, we request clarification as to your order. Are you placing an order for all beer styles? Also, we're unsure by what you mean when you say 300 dozen; as we noted in the form, we only ship internationally in kegs, so we request that you place your order in gallons, keeping in mind that a keg holds 15 gallons. Finally, as a brewery we only do seasonal releases, so beers are only available annually for the given period.

With thanks,
Langhus Brewing Customer Support

"Hey, are there free samples? I'd prefer not to be sober if I can help it!" jokes Dictator Dmitry in a joyous manner, "Is it possible to, instead of just purchasing alcoholic beverages, instead actually establish a Langhus Brewing industry in my nation? Alcoholic beverages are very popular in my nation. It would be rare not to see an alcoholic beverage in anything from your local Shop 'N Stop, from a party (of adults, of course). Certainly, your industry will massively grow in such an environment like my nation."

[OOC: You realize a keg is a large pressurized container to dispense draft beer out of, right? As it is, consider your order denied.]

Dictator Dmitry,

While we are certainly flattered by your offer, at present we have no plans to expand production internationally. In point of fact, we are hoping to expand production capacity locally in 2019 if international sales are strong enough.

With that said, if any of your alcohol distributors would like to make an offer for exclusive distribution rights within your nation, we would certainly be willing to enter negotiations.

Yours most sincerely,
Langhus Brewing Customer Support

To whom it may concern,

Your order is most graciously accepted. We look forward to further business with Dixadoing Distribution and the great nation of Dixadoing. Further, we would like to take a moment to inform you that we are presently building new brew houses for a variety of new styles that we have been recently introduced to us courtesy of the Alpen View Brew Festival. When production is under way we will inform you so that you may reserve production.

Sincerely,
Langhus Brewing Customer Support

[Just a quick note, I will be working to adjust prices based on real world pricing to home brewers. I originally used a quick and dirty method to determine pricing and while I thought it was high it was good enough at the moment. Given that 1 Rigskrone = almost 2 USD, I expect real prices to go down. I will also switch to using international currency, the Universal Standard Dollar, in order to make pricing transparent.]
