General Information

Allegiant Airlines was founded in 2005 as q small airport for small aircraft handling. Now, after 11 years, it’s one of the most modern airports located within Great Palkia.

Allegiant Airlines is certificated as IIIA category of ICAO standards. Installed modern equipment gives possibility to dispatchers of tower to find out, identify and escort aircraft and special techniques on the flight field, which screens on the towerman’s monitor. It allows to control and provide safety of traffic on the aerodrome at bad visibility. Now Allegiant Airlines can accept and dispatch aircraft with runway visibility till 200 meters and more, аs for the past period the meteorological minimum of aerodrome was 350 meters. Even if it is rainy or windy, Allegiant Airlines gives possibility to aircraft to make safe landing at horizontal visibility only 200 meters and vertical - 15.

The Airport policy is aimed at managing by significant environmental aspects in the performance of works and rendering of services in the field of aircraft ground handling.

Obligations of the Company in the field of EMS is aimed at:

- pollution abatement in the provision of ground handling services in terms of material management, discharges, waste management;
- accident prevention of leakage and filling, potentially impacting on the environment through the materials management ;
-documentation and implementation of EMS in accordance with the requirements of the ISAGO and ISO 14001:2004 Manual of Standards;
- ensuring the competence of persons responsible for the requirements of EMS;
- continuous EMS improvement;
- compliance with legal and other requirements associated with the environmental aspects;
- determination of target - setting and environmental targets and analysis;
- providing promulgation to all employees of the Company;
- information assurance to the public by posting on the Company's website .

Our Airport is certified with IIIA category of ICAO. We service domestic and foreign passenger and cargo airlines with capacities to service all aircraft types.

All necessary requirements on the market are observed in all fields of airport operations 24/7 at your service.

This year, a comprehensive reconstruction and expansion project was completed with the purposes of improving airport facilities, increasing its throughput, enhancing the level of aircraft handling safety and airport security, introduction of international standards in passenger service at the high level.

33 new facilities built during reconstruction, including:

-2 Passenger terminal
-Cargo terminal
-Air traffic control building
-Two fire-rescue stations
-Maintenance workshop building
-Fuel depot with a testing lab
-Runway and taxiways
-Infrastructure modernization.

Special Transport

All GSE is available: De-icing vehicles, refuellers, fuel hydrant dispensers, fire-rescue vehicles, ground power units, main deck highloaders, crew bus and passengers coaches, lavatory service vehicles, water service vehicles, passenger stairs, catering lift vehicles, ambulifts, tow-pushback tractors, tractors for baggage pallets and container dollies, an air start unit, snow removal vehicles.

Safety and security

The airport fire bridge and all other security/safety staff operate exclusively for the Airport, except immigration (border control) and customs staff, belonging to the state. Crash Fire Rescue: Category of Airport according ICAO CAT IX.

Check in

Check-in of tickets and baggage of departing passengers, is carried out at 24 check-in counters on the second floor of the airport terminal. There are also check-in counters for passenger of different categories in CIP domestic airlines, VIP International airlines, Official delegates Lounges. The whole check-in process is performed by automated check-in method using SITA DCS and other airline systems. Check-in of tickets and baggage of the departing passengers is performed on the second floor of the terminal.
Check-in for international flights begins 3 hours prior to the departure and ends 40 minutes prior to departure. Check-in for domestic flights begins 90 minutes prior to departure and ends 40 minutes prior to departure. Passengers, flying through the airport with transfer to another aircraft have to get their baggage after arrival to the airport and proceed to the check-in of necessary flight at fixed time. After ticket issuance the passengers proceed to the boarding control, which is also performed using automated systems, which helps to establish if all the checked-in passengers went to the aircraft, after this procedure the passengers go to the aircraft cabin by air bridge or they are transported.

Services

Currently there is 6 mother and baby rooms and 6 smoking rooms, at lounges during flight waiting he passengers can also use post services, cash machine of different banks, exchange money. You can buy tickets at Airport’s or airlines’ cash-desks and free Wi-Fi service, which are located on the 2nd floor. There are many stores of national souvenirs, where you can buy gifts for yourself or for your friends. There is also parking-place for passenger’s personal cars.
