The Hydra Beverage Company, which is headquartered in Mirola, Dunnes is a Dunian multinational beverage corporation, and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of beverages. The company is best known for its flagship product Hydra, invented in 1921 by professor Fletcher Atkinson in Stevenson, Dunnes. The Hydra formula and brand were bought in 1949 who incorporated The Hydra Company in 1951. Its brands include Hydra Sports Drink, Coola Cola, Pep! Soda, Aqya Waters, and Home Grown Juices. There are rumors that it is acquiring a brewery, and has ventures in coconut water. The company's stock is listed on the MRXX(MRXX: H) and is part of the Dunnes 20. As of 2016, its chairman and its CEO is Lewis Shapiro II.
