Along with the cooperation signed between Richard Trevithick Transport Research Institute (TTRI) of Teluk University and Irian Barat Ministry of Transportation and Tourism, the government decide to merge up the individual airport company management into one big holding of the half-state-owned Airport Holding Company named Jayaputera, Ltd.

Yesterday, ministry of Transport and Tourism of Irian Barat release the new controversial policy. In order to limit the expenses in organizing the airports of Irian Barat, the only operated Airport for international airline is only Rendani Manokwari International. Concerning to the policy, We are from the management team say sorry to all passenger and partner.

All route agreement that we have made will be displaced into Rendani Manokwari Airport Terminal, and your international fleet operating in other airport now will transit in MKW. Sorry for this inconvinience

Fakfak Aerospace Industries is a Teluk University Spin-Off Industries related from the Dept. Aerospace and Aeronautics. Located in Fakfak Aerospaces Industries Complex one of the indigenous aerospace companies in Asia with core competence in aircraft design and assembly, for both civilian and military of light and medium aircraft. In cooperation with the Airbus Company of France and ATR Co. There are currently three joint product which we produce:

Medium to Long Range Wide Body
The Airbus A330 is a medium to long range wide-body twin-engine jet airliner made by Airbus, a division of Airbus Group. Versions of the A330 have a range of 5,600 to 13,430 kilometres (3,020 to 7,250 nmi; 3,480 to 8,350 mi) and can accommodate up to 335 passengers in a two-class layout or carry 70 tonnes (154,000 lb) of cargo.

The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turboprop short-haul regional airliner manufactured by the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR. Infrastructure Investment and Airport Development

The Airside Development
Wide body Aircraft will have limited airport number in Irian Barat. This factor is mainly caused by the ARFL (Aerodrome Reference Field length). any parties are welcomed to support runway extension and apron expanson of our airport, for the convenience of air service

The Terminal Building
We will have some issues with the Passenger Terminal Building. In order to understand how the slot availability, we suggest you to read this before. Basicly, the Airport in Irian Barat is initially built up with Simple Terminal Style. For example, MKW and DEO has 2 simple terminal separated between International and Domestic terminal. SOQ and KNG has 1 simple ultimate terminal with International-Domestic mixed building, and the other has each one simple terminal. However, if the slot has been fully be reserved by the airlines, thus the selected airport need the expansion



The Airport Intermodal Transportation
Irian Barat's Airport wants to take the lead in the successful implementation of the many initiatives included in the mobility plan. This is why it is inviting all its mobility partners, as well as all the different policy levels involved, to continue to work together to achieve these goals. Due to its intermodal function the airport not only needs a well-thought-out mobility network, it can also play a key role in solving the mobility issue for the region. A further strengthening of the intermodal hub at the airport will make it possible for passengers, visitors and employees at and in the area of the airport to choose between different modes of transport and to combine them.

In order to limit the expenses in organizing the airports of Irian Barat, the only operated Airport for international airline is only Rendani Manokwari International. Concerning to the policy, We are from the management team say sorry to all passenger and partner.

All route agreement that we have made will be displaced into Rendani Manokwari Airport Terminal, and your international fleet operating in other airport now will transit in MKW. Sorry for this inconvinience
