Torrinian Skyworld International Airport (TSIA) is a mega-airport, located on the center of Lake Bower, Allinburg's largest lake. The airport is situated west of Torrinian, Allinburg's lagrest city and financial capital. It was opened in August 2000, to replace Berwin International Airport, located near Berwin, the capital city of Allinburg. Owned and operated by the Allinburgia Airport Department, TSIA is the largest airport in the nation and definately the largest in NationStates. There are five (5) terminals, Terminal 1 (oldest terminal), Terminal 2 (completed 2003), Terminal 3 (exclusively for Alpha Airlines, completed 2005), the TSIA Freighter Terminal (cargo terminal, completed 2006), Terminal 5 (domestic terminal, completed 2016), and Terminal 6 (Regional Terminal, operating December 2016-present).

TSIA has six (6) runways, Runway 27L/09L, the longest runway (shown in picture), Runway 27R/09R, and Runway 36/18 (also shown in picture). All runways are installed with high-quality, long-lasting runway lights and ILS systems. A highly sophisticated weather system tracks and updates weather every second.
The airport also features:

✈ Skylights, a yoga room, golf course, observation deck, rooftop pool, theater, comlimentary cocktails and so much more!

Torrinian Skyworld International Airport can handle up to 500 million passengers every year. You read that right, 500 million.

As in every airport in the world, security is an important priority and a precaution to protect our airport and Allinburg from terrorists and criminals. As of now, a chance of an attack in TSIA is slim, in light of the recent activities of ISIL and other terror organisations, but at all times, all travelers must follow the safeguards listed below:

✈ All travelers must be screened through a metal detector before entering the main concourse, in all terminals.

✈ All luggage and other carry-on items must be screened through an X-ray detector before entering the main concourse, in all terminals.

✈ Inspection of luggage and frisk searches are carried out on every traveler to ensure discouragement of smuggling.

✈ All food and drink purchased outside of the main concourse in all terminals are prohibited.

✈ All illegal narcotics will be confiscated upon arrival.

✈ Dangerous and/or sharp objects such as guns or knives (Swiss Army knives are exempt) will be confiscated.

✈ Luggage or other carry-on items must never be left unattended anywhere within the airport premises.

For transport within the airport, moving walkways, Automated People Movers (APMs), and buses provide superb service. Outside, you can take the TSIA Airport Express monorail connecting Torrinian Skyworld International Airport to Berwin, the capital of Allinburg, or Torrinian, the country's largest city. You can also try the Allinburg Metro, as well as taxis (either airport or normal), buses, and limusines. Car rental is also available, with such brands like Avis, Hertz, and more.

Since TSIA is officially designated international soil, all products sold by stores are legally exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT).

Torrinian Skyworld International Airport has 5 terminals, albeit all terminals have prime space and many gates, and their design is futuristic and state-of-the-art. Terminal 1 is the oldest terminal in the airport. It opened its doors on August 16, 2000, and originally consisted of 75 gates, then expanded to 100, then finally, 150. It serves international flights.

Terminal 2 commenced operations on March 21, 2003, and contained 150 gates. The number of gates remained unchanged as of now. As with Terminal 1, is serves international flights. This terminal is the preferred choice for most international airlines.

Terminal 5 is the latest terminal, being opened on Friday, June 9, 2016. It is a domestic and international terminal, serving airlines which operate domestic and international routes from the airport. It can accomodate up to 200 gates.

The TSIA Freighter Terminal (also known as Terminal 4) is the cargo terminal, and was opened on December 31, 2005. It accomodates cargo airlines. It is also the hub of Alpha Airlines Cargo, Allinburg's flagship cargo carrier.

We are now constructing a new terminal, Terminal 5, to be used for domestic flights. The new terminal will commence operations tommorow, as construction of the terminal started on March of this year (2016).

When completed, Terminal 5 will serve all domestic flights in Allinburg. The nation's flag carrier, Alpha Airlines, reserved 10 gates for their use, with an additional 10 to be used on June 13, 2016 onwards. Terminal 5 will have 200 gates, 50 times more than the average number of gates in our terminals, 150. The expansion of gates is important as more airlines will occupy the gates in Terminal 5.

Air Letrastan has decided to commence services to Torrinian Skyworld International Airport from Woodbine, Letrastan's capital city. The application form can be found below. Although services will start as soon as possible, one aspect of the operation we have not sorted out yet is lounge access. We would like to offer premium passengers (First Class, Business Class, oneworld Ruby and Emerald members, and Air Letrastan Aviator's Club Silver and Gold Card holders) access to a lounge at Torrinian Skyworld Terminal 2, but we do not wish to construct our own at the moment as the airport is not a hub or focus city.
