It is possible to fit drum mags containing 75 rounds or more to this weapon, making it into an impromptu LMG, although it really isn't built for quick barrel changes. Sure, you can change the barrel in the middle of combat, but you cannot do so with the same speed as, say, an MG42.

could you modify the weapon with a heavier barrel, bipod, and quick change barrel. It would not be a primary Squad support weapon instead, it would be-be issued as a Heavy Automatic rifle or to Such units as Airborne or special operations troops to increase the squad level firepower of the unit and improve their ability to deal with soldiers wearing body armor or behind cover a 5.56, will not penetrate reliably.

We would be willing to purchase 10,000 Units and a substantial stock of ammunition and spare parts in addition to the weapon. with additional purchases to follow to replace worn or lost/damaged weapons.

or If more to your preference we would be willing to purchase a DPR for the weapon and manufacture the modified versions of te weapons and ammunition for it under license.
