You see, in the proxy war we involved ourselves in, the Baxian-Commune war, our commitment to win created more defectors to the United Communes, and given the massive funding by the Eurasians, they were able to command an entire force of 20 million soldiers at our borders. Not only that, but our allies were horrified at our commitment. So be it. They were unwilling to do whatever it takes, and so the Commune, and the Council Republics of Baxi-formed from the ashes of the Benevolent State of Baxi. We had to adapt. They began a Year Zero plan, where they destroyed artifacts, monuments, palaces, and records, and started from the ground up. We had enough, and they were threatening to do this to our populace. That meant genocide. So we had to 'stage' a 'coup' by the 'Communists", when in reality, they were our front group, designed to masquerade them. We have had to keep this intricate web of lies and deceit. We have two governments: The 'front' government, and the 'true' government. The front is used as a disguise to keep the commune and the council republics from destroying us, and on the other hand we have the real government, doing real activities.
