The below are standard liability rules which will apply to the purchase of most products purchased through Allanean Defense Exports. This document is only a summary of the more detailed liability rules applied by a given ADE member. It is not to be understood as exhaustive.

1. Allanean Defense Exports is not an arms manufacturer company. It is a marketing company, working as an umbrella organization for several Allanean and other companies that have agreed to be represented by ADE. While ADE does do due diligence on members, it cannot be held liable for any product liability or third-party liability that may occur from the use or misuse of ADE member products.

2. Allanean Defense Exports members guarantee the timely delivery of their products. However, this guarantee does not extend to the results of force majeure – natural disasters, wars, blockades, uprisings, union action, revolutions, planar events, demonic incursions, etc. That said, the ADE supplier contracted is obligated to notify the client of any force majeure, and recommence work on supplying the products once it ends. (Two notable exceptions exist to this: one being a situation in which supplying in a warzone is explicitly part of the contract, and the other, where the client fails to warn ADE members of a hazard and as a result shipments are lost and destroyed. In the former case, the situation is not considered a force majeure, in the other, the contract is instantly voided and no funds will be recompensed to the buyer. In extreme cases, ADE members may file additional lawsuits, or seek other remedies).

3. ADE members do not make any guarantees of profits, success, or suitability regarding their products. The products are guaranteed to function as advertised (i.e., the vehicles will move at a given maximum speed, will have a given dry weight, etc.), and within the defined parameters (in terms of engine life, crew safety, armor protection, etc.). No arms manufacturer guarantees, or can be expected to, guarantee the suitability of a weapons systems to a nation's national defense needs, much less any manner of military victory.

4. In certain cases, ADE members may sell weapons systems to clients located where clandestine delivery is required. In those cases, there is no guarantee of delivery except for a good-faith effort to ship the item. If the item is seized en route, no refunds are available.

5. It is illegal under Allanean law to sell any items whatsoever to any entity placed on the Known Slaver Entities List or the Prohibited Entities Lists (typically, entities hostile to the Free Kingdom, and entities connected to genocide, democide, or other extreme sapient rights violations). Some entities are only excluded from weapons exports. If an entity is placed on any of these lists after an order has been made, or if an entity fraudulently attempts to secure an order by any means, an order won't be shipped, and no money will be refunded.

6. In most cases, the jurisdiction for any dispute arising regarding any item sold by ADE is the Civil Court of Liberty-City, although some companies (typically those not registered in the Free Kingdom) may choose another court.

7. Given the nature of large-scale military contracts, ADE cannot promise a refund shall be paid in the event that a client pays in advance for a product, and then cancels the contract before the product is delivered. This is to avoid circumstances where manufacturers invest billions of dollars in producing items and are then left with a stock or useless steel in their hands.

Having recently received a grand sum of profits from the sales of Hood-class warships around the world, We have decided to spend a large section of this money charitably, to assist the Allies of Allanea and member states in Greater Prussia, whether they be small, or large.

First, We have elected, to grant Isder Vitellius, the Archduke of Snogohsia, the sum of ten billion New Dornalian Dollars, for the renovation of the center of Snogohsia's capital, and particularly to commence with the creation of an architectural study group, which will study the optimal shape of the city streets, et cetera, and in addition, We shall grant another billion New Dornalian Dollars, with which to build apartment homes to help house the working poor, so as those who vacate so-called 'slum' areas in the capital will receive in lieu of them, apartments furnished with all those facilities required for healthy and comfortable living.

Second, We have elected to create a Noble Children's Foundation, so as to benefit every Skyborn noble family residing in Snogohsia or in the Free Kingdom, with a sum of ten million New Dornalian dollars when an offspring of that family reaches the age of customary college enrollment for that species, and furthermore, for that offspring, a 'full ride' to a college of their choice in the Free Kingdom. As this project cannot be funded, under present laws, by public money, it will be funded by Ourselves.

Third, for our allies in the Kingdom of Imbrinium, who have always been a loyal friend to the Free Kingdom, we wish to issue a sum of 20 billion New Dornalian Dollars, for the improvement of their military-industrial complex, and the building of shipyards, factories, and other such needful things, as the Kingdom may so require.

Fourtth, for our noble friends in the Holy Romagnan Empire, we offer Her Imperial and Apostolic Royal Majesty, Maria Melanie I., By the Grace of God Holy Roman Empress, Ever August; Empress of Austria, Apostolic Queen of Hungary, Queen of Bohemia, a sum of 20 billion New Dornalian Dollars, this is for the construction of military facilities as Her Imperial and Apostolic Royal Majesty may so desire, and an additional $5 billion, to build palaces, public buildings, and monuments, or to preserve monuments of the Empire's culture, as they so may desire.
