BK-4 Combat Armour System, including the following:

Layer 1 micro-climate compression undergarment;

Layer 2 ripstop FR uniform with knee and elbow soft armour inserts;

Layer 3 scalable ergonomic full-body armour with PALS webbing, Level IIIA non-vital area soft armour inserts and Level IV+ vital area hard armour inserts;

BK-4K Ballistic Helmet with Level IIIA ballistic face-shield, Level IIIA ballistic mandible guard, helmet mount adaptor, helmet accessory rails and augmented/mixed-reality eyepiece;

Electronics Subsystem with integrated radio transceiver and rugged wrist-wearable computer.

The initial order quantity shall be 20 million armour sets for a total cost of US$90 billion.

The uniform, armour and helmet items shall be supplied in accordance with ergonomic standards that comfortably fit the 3rd-97th percentile of estimated male and female anthropometric types in sizes XS to XL.

The uniforms and armour shall be supplied in the following camouflage patterns: MultiCam, MultiCam Arid, MultiCam Tropic, MultiCam Alpine and MultiCam Black; and in the following colour schemes, olive drab, desert tan and urban grey.

RE: BK-4 Combat Armour purchase contract

Dear Sir,

Thank you for approval of our purchase order of 29 December 2019, and your kind note and offer of discounts and ammendments to the IDIQ contract, and we will accordingly adjust the contract to a new firm fixed price value of US$3,500 per armour set following complete delivery of the initial tranche of 20 million armour sets.

I am also pleased to be able to accept your kind offer of training services, and my office will coordinate with yours on the arrangements to bring TALON Arms contractor personnel to Etoile Arcture within the coming weeks to help with introducing the BK-4 into service with our armed forces and for-going training.

Further to your comment on C2 system compatibility, it has been accessed by the Defence Forces Technical Directorate that integration of the BK-4 electronic subsystem into our existing Cornestone Battlefield Management System would only require reprogramming of the baseband processor in the radio transceiver, and that these neccessary modifications can be performed at depot level by EADF technicians. As information on the radio waveforms and GPS frequencies used by our armed forces is highly classified I am certain you understand our desire to undertake this work in-house for reasons of national security.

I do, on the other hand, propose to integrate TALON National Arms as a vendor in the Defence Procurement Agency's Agile Procurement electronic purchase order system for greater efficiency of the contract. Agile Procurement runs on a commercial OpenStack cloud service and should be straightforward to integrate with your company's existing enterprise system. To take full advantage of your custom fitment service, and as we already have the capability to scan individual troops, we propose to include 3D body scan laser measurements in industry-standard format with all electronic order requests.

New Defense Contracts Acquired by TALON National Arms Corporation

TALON National Arms Corp is pleased to announce that it has accepted new defense contracts from within the region of Astyria.

The first contract was accepted in December 2019 by the United Republic of Ord Caprica. The United Republic requested 100,000 FDSE-16 assault rifles for use in its federal police force. The requested armaments will be delivered through the course of this year, however, Caprican officials have already noted that they will likely be increasing their order size in the future. The low weight and modular design of the FDSE-16 makes it an excellent choice for police forces and special response teams.

The Blackhelm Confederacy has made arrangements to procure an undisclosed amount of H-12/DA grenades for use by its Special Operations forces. The H-12/DA grenade disperses an aerosolized deliarant chemical agent created to incapacitate enemy forces.
