-Long-range Patrol Group bundle ×2
For quite a long time now our Gepald-class Fast Attack Craft have been resupplied at see from modified military cargo ships or warships. But using these ships to resupply FACs depleted their stores, lessening their range. When I came across your Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler, I knew it was what the FACs needed.

Dear Sirs or Ma'ams,
it is with greatest pleasure, that I announce, that the Board of Directors of Silverport Dockyards Ltd. confirmed your order of four Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oilers and two Long-Range Patrol Group Bundles (each with five Fiagai-class Patrol Vessels and one Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler).
The total is composed of the following:Four Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oilers: 440 million NSD
That makes a total of 750 million NSD (750,000,000 NSD) for your complete order.
Two Long-Range Patrol Group Bundles: 310 million NSD
-----------------------------------
Total: 750 million NSD
(No discounts apply)
As specified by your form, payment will be handled by physical transfer.
As with the ordered Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carriers, we would like to offer you to send sailors and crews to Silverport in order to get to know the ships before their commissioning into the Marine Corp and Stormtrooper Regimentz of the Protectorate of Christeria. Room and board would be our charge.

Your generosity and quick service are once again extraordinary. If all of the Selkie are like you and Nora Cathlong then I see why they have no need for self defense weapons.

Sir,
I thank you very much for your kind words. I have word from Mistress Cathlong, that she appreciates your words as well and, according to Miss Cathlong, blushed at hearing them.
Although it might not appeared that way, a male deal broker will be no problem, at least not from our side.
As for selling military vessels to civilians. This matter is a bit more complicated, as we are currently working on a civilian version of the Faolchu-class FAC, capable of speeds up to 55 knots. Other vessels, like the Port Hackburry class Fleet Oiler or the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier, would be sold without any weapons or defensive systems installed and fitted with less powerful sensors (as well as the price reduced being, of course).
Others, like for example a Scoth-class Corvette, would simply not be sold. That being said, we might change this stance, if we get a good enough incentive to change the stance on this matter.

Dear Mister Taylor,
your kind letter to our Registered Office and Miss Garraí was received and brought before the Board of Directors of Silverport Dockyards Ltd.. While your offers have their merit, we are currently not interested due to a number of reason, which should be of little to no interest to you.
That being said, we do have an offer for you in return: One of the methods of payment utilized by SDY is payment in kind, also known as "You build my ships, I pay in ressources." As you surely can imagine, we sometimes hit potholes, when we wish to monetize these funds-in-waiting.
We hereby offer you a strategic partnership with the exact clauses to be negotiated, basically boiling down to this: SDY is paid in ressources, we give these ressources to you, you make them to hard currency and give us the money back, keeping a fee (which will be negotiated).
I eagerly await your reply,

Dear Sir,
your requests for the development of a corvette of 4,600 tons and a destroyer of 8,500 tons have reached my desk.
While the funds provided by the Zionite Imperial Defence Ministry should be more then sufficient, I ask you to consider, that we will install the equivalent systems to the ones in your form, for example the Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS instead of the Phalanx, on the ships, unless you demand the installation of exactly these systems. This would, however, lead to problems with the computer systems we usually use, which would raise the cost needlessly because we would have to adjust exactly these systems.

Miss Patricia,
My apologizes for not explaining my self fully. I do not believe that it is a problem having a male as the deal broker. I merely was trying to clarify so that you would not have to write "him or her, sir or ma'am, etc" all the time.
In regards to the citizens purchasing military vessels, if it is okay with you, I would like them to be able to purchase weaponized military vessels. Why do I allow this you may ask? Like almost every other national leaders, I do not want Christeria invaded. The best way (as you know) to insure this is to discourage other nations from attacking in the first place. Admiral Yamamoto of the Imperial Japanese Navy did not want to invade the U.S.A. mainland because "Behind every blade of grass is an American with a firearm." Now imagine if citizens of a nation own warships. That nation would become much less attractive to invade.
I do not fear a rebellion because Christerian citizens have gifted my great grandfather, grandfather, and myself with domestically stable rules. Even if for some reason some choose to do evil with the military vessels, such as piracy, the military and law inforcement are powerful enough to hunt them down and destroy them. Naturally the decision is up to you, but I humbly ask you to agree.
I would like to purchase an additional Sealgail-class Helicopter Carrier alog with some other boats. I would like the same modifications that were added to the first helicopter carrier installed on this one as well. The crews and money will be transferred via troopship and cargo ship as usual.

The crews already living in Silverport have commented on your excellent hospitality. Thank you for taking care of them so well.
I noticed that in your catalogue you mentioned that there may be an amphibious support ship and troopship based on the Port Hackburry Fleet Oiler hull in the future. Though we do operate amphibious assualt ships and troopships, they quite large and expensive to operate. Should you design said variants with your typical defensive firepower and the ability to operate 2 landing craft air cushions, then you can expect Christeria to be a customer.

Sir,
it is my pleasure to announce, that the Board of Directors of Silverport Dockyards Ltd. confirmed your order for a Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier, two Port Hackburry class Fleet Oilers and one Long Range Patrol Group Bundle.
The total is composed as follows:1x Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier: 825 million NSD
That makes a total of 1.170 billion NSD for the whole order. Of course, the modifications will be in place.
2x Port Hackburry class Fleet Oilers: 220 million NSD
1x Long Range Patrol Group Bundle: 155 million NSD
-----------------------
First total: 1.2 billion NSD
Big Order Discount: -2.5 percent - 1.170 billion NSD
Of course, the crews will be welcome to join their comrades already in Silverport. It might happen, that we outsource the smaller vessels to the yards in Leuda, but the same offer applies to them. It all depends on Yard Usage Planning, we will of course cover the costs of any additional transports. We thank you for your kind words in regards of our hospitality.
We indeed plan modifications to the Port Hackburry Hull, but exact properties are as of now business secrets.
Furthermore, the Board of Directors remains sceptical about selling armed ships to civilians, not because of internal security reasons, but because of simple money. The cheapest vessel in our catalogue, the Fiagai-class Patrol Vessel, costs 10.2 million NSD a piece - please do show me the citizien, who has that kind of pocket money, as well as the pocket money to actually man with a good crew and maintain even one of these vessels.
And the Fiagai is a patrol vessel, not a warship in the strict sense, like for example the Faolchu-I and the Faolchu-II, which are far more expensive. This raises the question of how you would want to finance the naval armament of your citizenry.

I understand your good reasons why you worry about selling military vessels to citizens. You brought up a valid point when you said that there are not many individuals who can buy and maintain even a patrol craft. But corperations, such as freight and controlled mercenary companies, are a different story.
Freight companies alone could easily use a few Friagai-class Patrol Craft. The reason being so that they can defend their cargo ships when they are in areas with a heavy pirate presence. The Christerian Marine Corp normally provides free escorts for cargo ships on such an occasion, but if certain events transpire, the Marine Corp will be unable to. Furthermore such escort duties spread out the FAC fleet. Thus making Christeria vulnerable to a major undeclared attack. But if they were able to buy some of your vessels, there would be no need for the Marine Corp's FACs to act as escorts.
You can see the obvious advantage of mercenary companies owning some of your vessels. They commonly defend engineer companies (Construction companies that build infanstructure for foreign countries. It is cheaper, quicker, and easier for developing countries to hire a engineer company then create their own construction companies.) that operate in dangerous areas. They have expressed interest in wanting to buy cheap warcraft to help defend their charges. Some have been more abitious and want to field small fleets to hire out to small countries that have none. These mercenary companies have yet to find a foreign country that will sell military vessels to them. Christeria ,as of this moment, does not have a shipyard that makes military ships.
Perhaps "warship" is too strong a word. What I mean is a weaponized boat. It would be a huge help if Faigai-class Patrol Boats alone becomes popular among the freight companies. Faigai-class Patrol Boats would free up other "ships of the line" to concentrate on enaging the enemy fleet.
I eagerly await your repy.

under these circumstances, the Board of Directors of Silverport Dockyards Ltd. is willing to open up business with these mercenary companies, if you feel more comfortable with it, under intermediation and order-collection by you.
As it stands, the Board of Directors authorized me to offer you the Fiagai-class Patrol Vessel, the Faolchu-I-class FAC and the Waari-class Minesweeper, as well as the Port Hackburry class Fleet Oiler in addition to the civilian product lines for the purpose of naval-arming the mercenaries of your nation.
Please state the number of ships these private companies wish to acquire and we will take care of the rest.

I am glad the crews and cash arrived safely, I trust they will be more then safe in Silverport Dockyards. I have nearly forgotten, do you have any building where Mass can be said for the crews?
Just a curious question, could you give me an estimate on how much time each of the vessels have until they are completed?
Sincerely,
Cyril Vectis, Protector of Christeria

Dear Sir,
Your request of being informed of any purchase made by any mercenary company of Christeria was met with rather negative reactions. We consider the relationship and the secrecy of our orderers and their orders sacrosanct (for the lack of a better word) and no incentive will keep us from considering it like this. There is a reason why we don't boast with the names of our products' users in our catalogue.
We would love to extend our business in Christeria, but further discussions will be more fruitful if conducted in person.
As for the already ordered vessels and their readiness, the originally ordered Helicopter Carriers should be ready to enter service by 2018, the order from Novembre 24th by 2016, most of the order from Decembre 15th by 2016 as well, excluding the Helicopter Carrier in that order, which will be able to enter service in 2019.
And yes, your soldiers can have a space, where a mass can be read. However, we ask you to send appropriate personell for that.
I remain respectfully yours,
Patricia Garraí of the Tribe of Fingal

National Defense Inc. (NDI) is a mercenary company that specializes in the defense of nations. Currently our "navy" only consisted of a few freighters and small patrol boats. This has naturally hindered our ability to defend our charges. Since you have recently opened up some of your vessels, I would like to purchase one Faulchu-II-class FAC bundle, 2 Waari-class Minesweepers, and 1 Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler for NDI.

I understand about keeping the mercenaries' orders secret. Keeping your buyers secret is one of the reasons why I purchase from SDY. Furthermore, having such things registered has always been a sign that they will be taken away later. Though such thing will not happen during my reign, it may happen with one of my successors. So I will respect your secrecy.
Would you like to start discussions in person immediately? If so, a jet plane will be sent to transport you to Christi Corde, Christeria's capitol. I would like to invite you to stay in my residential mansion during your time in Christeria.
The appropiate personall (Roman Catholic chaplains) are on their way. They will take a passenger plane to Silverport. I will contact Christerian crew members and have them lead the chaplains to their barracks in Silverport.
Sincerely,
Cyril Vectis, Protector of Christeria

Dear Sir,
please allow me, in the name of Silverport Dockyards Limited, to wish you the best for the coming year. We also hope for continuing the fruitful cooperation between you and us for the betterment of us all.
That in mind, I am quite positive, that the business negotiations between SDY and Christeria will be fruitful. However, I will not attend them, as the Board of Directors decided to send someone with more experience and skill in matters as delicate as these. We would like to take care of transportation by ourselves, though, as it would be better for the environment and the purses of everyone involved.
SDY will simply charter a jet as usual.
The chaplains arrived safely and, from the sounds of it, are already commencing their work.

Miss Patricia Garraí,
May God keep Silverport Dockyards' workers healthy and bless you with increased sales.
If you do not mind, might I inquire who you are sending to negociate? It should be noted that Christeria has extensive air security grid. The only way a foreign civilian plane to get through is by memorizing a very complicated set of codes that change at different times. Any foreign plane would be blown out of the sky if any of the codes were mistaken. To avoid your delegate's and pilots' probable death, I would like to arrange for a Marine Corp jet to escort the private jet to the appropiate airport. Should you agree, the exact details will be discussed with the pilot.
I am glad the chaplains arrived safely.
Sincerely,

Dear Sir,
the Board of Directors sends Gwen Cathlong of the Tribe of Cork, one of our top engineers and the mind behind the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier. She has experience with this kind of talk and is of adequate rank to represent SDY at such an event.
And we agree. The flight's number is 99741-B, coming from Silverport International, the pilot's name is Finn.
