His Majesty's government recognizing the need for replacing the fleet of EAV Matador II aircraft in service with the Flotă Principală, as well as the MiG-21 LanceR variant aircraft which have been withdrawn from active service due to maintenance issues, and is now held in the fleet reserve of the Flotă Atmosferic Principală, has elected to purchase a suitable replacement from foreign stocks. In order to meet our requirements, we have elected to inquire about the MAF-50 aircraft and more importantly its variant the MAF-50S.

Under ideal circumstances, we would like to purchase twenty (23) units of the MAF-50S 'Silent Pegasus' if possible, or twenty three (23) units of the MAF-50 'Pegasus' if not. For the purposes of meeting the financial requirement we have set aside two billion, one hundred eighty five million (2.185 billion) Universal Standard Dollars to secure purchase of the craft. We would also like to secure the ability to manufacture locally, certain critical components that are frequently prone to wear, and needing regular replacement, obviously to be used only for repair of existing aircraft, or at least securing additional spare parts to ensure the continued health of the fleet. For this purpose, we have set aside up to one billion (1 billion) Universal Standard Dollars.

We finally should like to get squadrons equipped with the Pegasus operational as quickly as possible, and would like to host Marshite experts to assist with familiarizing Taraniman air crews and pilots with the Pegasus. We are willing to pay for their services, but are unable to estimate that cost at this time.
