Having produced both a submachinegun and a pistol for the poorest citizens of the world, Eoihanna Soraski was now interested in producing a rifle. This was somewhat difficult, since the Stanley submachine gun was not in itself capable of handling the far greater recoil of the battle rifle round. After some work, however, the engineers at Soraski Arms International (with pre-orders for millions of guns around the world, Eoihanna could now afford to hire a vast team of engineers) implemented a lever-delayed blowback mechanism to reduce the felt recoil of the mighty .308 action to a manageable recoil.

The rifle as designed is capable of accepting the same magazines as the FN Rougecote FGR battle rifle. The only luxury available with this firearm is the presence of 4 Picatinny rails on all four sides of the firearm, though of course accessories would have to be basic and cheap if one is to keep the firearm affordable for the average user. While no plans exist to produce firearms in other calibers at this time, they can be produced at a later date if enough customer demand (at least 100,000 guns/year) exists.

Note: Because of Eoihanna Soraski’s political views, the gun is not available for government purchases except as study samples. Eoihanna Soraski will not sell this gun for use by military forces or law enforcement groups. The only exceptions are either private militaries, or government programs aimed to arm civilians (like the Civilian Marksmanship Program).

The budget Battle rifle will contend with the HRan Mk IIIb lasrifle for combat training(K-12) based on deployment and munitions availability. The process of standardization between the various training programmes in the Hobbiest Republic and the low adoption cost will allow a smooth transition away from the current collection of arms currently employed for standard use. The most notable auxiliary arm being the Mosin which is standard equipment for students and irregulars(self-organized civilians) who do not have their own arms. Given the comparable caliber and price point the transition to this clearly superior firearm will take precedent in following programmes for training or uptraining existing units or reservists.

"At first glance, it's hard to see why consumers are in love with this rifle which is selling like hotcakes.
