Proposal: Uniform Policy Act
This proposal bans all non-member nations of the Council from exporting oil.
Exception is given to those who follow our policies, and do not obstruct the enforcement of any of our passed proposals.
If they do not adhere to this rule, we will stop buying oil from them, and selling it to them. Also we will stop the supply to any nation still buying from them. This rule does not apply to member nations breaking policy as long as they are not suspended from the Council.

Veto Seat:
Saudi Arabhejaz

Cucuta opposes the Uniform Policy Act

This is a violation of external nations right of commerce, we cannot enforce a policy like this on other nations.

Brabant states that if we do not defend ourselves from non-members undermining our policies. They will outcompete us, and break the Council up. We open our doors for any nation willing to join. And do not act against any nations that does not actively and purposefully defies us.

Lets no forget we have an overwhelming amount of the oil if they want to go against us then so be it. We can go toe to toe with any oil exporting nation, I'm just saying we can't ban another nation from exporting oil, we can make it less profitable for them. But we have no say in that matter unless we enforce it militarily which I would rather us not do.

Im opposed to the way it is currently written, with a few changes I will support the proposal.

Proposal: Uniform Policy Act
This proposal puts restrictions all non-member nations of the Council from exporting oil.
Exception is given to those who follow our policies, and do not obstruct the enforcement of any of our passed proposals.
If they do not adhere to this rule, we will pressure them into following our policies. We will disrupt supply to and from countries buying or selling oil to that nation via force. We will stop buying oil from them, and selling it to them. This rule does not apply to member nations breaking policy as long as they are not suspended from the Council.

I feel that we can't "ban" them from exporting but we can take steps to make it harder for them to do it therefore putting them in a position where they will have to follow our policies. Its just unrealistic to ban other countries from exporting oil.
