As part of Wolf Armament policy, warships upon completion are either transported either via large transport shipping or a crew will operate the vessel back to their intended location. • What do Manufacturing Plants & Shipyards do exactly? They produce stuff from the products list for ME, right? First of all, NO. No Wolf Armaments facilities produce goods exclusively for your nation if they are located within your borders. If you are unfamiliar with what benefit these facilities bring to your country ICly, please feel free to read this section here on how opening facilities will improve your country; although it covers mostly manufacturing plants and gun stores, the exact same logic still applies to shipyards as well. To summarize this in a different, more complex OOC/IC explanation, Wolf Armaments is an enormous international corporation that sells products to many customers around the globe - including its main benefactors back in TECT. This means that Wolf Armaments has to meet a large domestic demand and produce enough products to keep pace with export orders. Both of these demands are incredibly straining on resources, manpower, and time (otherwise known as "supply"). Therefor, Wolf Armaments must increase both its production capability and its workforce in order to meet domestic and foreign product demand.
  
  That is where foreign manufacturing plants and shipyards come into play. These facilities will have less competition for the land and resources they need, and will provide high paying jobs in foreign countries where labor shortages aren't prevalent. Additionally, these facilities can benefit from local support and beneficial laws/ordinances (such as lower taxes and absence of said taxes), encouraging the plant's management to invest more in their workforce and the corporation itself to invest in the plant. But of course the primary reason why these facilities benefit Wolf Armaments is because they increase the company's production capacity and overall net worth. The more it can sell, the more it can make, basically. This is why Wolf Armaments has more than two thousand five hundred production facilities and is continuously opening more around the world. To make it brief, a nation with Wolf Armaments facilities benefit from market activity that businesses bring to local and national economies. These include (but are not limited to) income, export, and property taxes to name a few; local produced goods being purchased or produced where possible (increased local economic activity); investment into local communities/economies that bring with increases to total available capital (more money entering the economy); and even work skills that allow citizens to thrive in and outside of Wolf Armaments (such as creating new businesses with these skills, or bringing those skills to government/family use).
  
  
• Where do you get your artwork from? What program do you use to draw all this? Short answer: I draw it myself unless stated otherwise, and I use Paint.net to draw everything I've ever drew (including products here, all my symbols, and the few maps/charts I've made in the past). After coming to the conclusion I should be more responsible concerning credit and artwork upgrades, I began a second wave of major artwork upgrades that focused on replacing the older works I found ugly, and replacing those who required credit; not because I resent giving credit where it's due, but because it is my personal philosophy that artwork I know I can create should be created by myself - no splicing, no tracing, etc.. Thus some art you're seeing could be older still, newer but not brand new, or the latest versions of previous iterations (some have several previous iterations for example). The answer I give to anyone looking to learn to draw or looking for a program to use are these: Paint.net, MS Paint (or similar), and there's a few offhand sources floating around similar to these that are good pixel art substitutes. Secondly, my tip for improving/learning to draw artwork like this is to practice. Don't rely on anyone other than yourself by getting practice in whenever you can, regardless if you use that lineart for a thread, factbook, or not at all. I started by splicing stuff together, then splicing parts around, drawing and splicing where I couldn't manage, and now I draw 99% of things from scratch. That 1% is made up of parts I've been expressly granted use of, are open sourced (meaning they're found on free to use sheets), or are properly credited for their parts; even most of my reused parts were redrawn by myself a couple times in the past. It's a bit-by-bit process that doesn't happen overnight. But if you're truly interested in getting better, that's how I went about it.
  
  
• I have a design that I wish to sell on Wolf Armaments. How does one do that? Im reiterating this mainly because I get TGs all the time from people who wish to put up their design for sale, and a lot of them seem to have no clue what the process of doing so is. So if you're interested in submitting designs to throw up on the storefront, please give this section a read once more after reading the rest of this answer. My advice for anyone applying to put their product up for sale on Wolf Armaments is that they must follow a similar format that I currently use for my products. You need a brief description (history too if you're interested), some form of picture you want me to use (a RL picture or custom art will do), and the prices you wish to sell for. Once you have all the necessary information, please TG me and we can work out an agreement to retail it here. My typical arrangement with people is that sales, including DPRs, are split 60-40 or 70-30 with the creator benefiting the most obviously; I typically don't manufacture the product unless both parties desire; and I usually try to encourage you to open up shop for yourself if possible because good products deserve their own spotlight. Lastly, as a general warning, Wolf Armaments may deny any perfectly acceptable product submissions for reasons such as low demand (on storefront or in general), or for business reasons (too many of said product type on the list for example).

Domestic Production Rights 4 Dummies

What are Domestic Production Rights (DPRs) exactly? They allow me to build Wolf Armaments gear for my own needs, right? Long story short? Yes and no. In real life, such contracts work in complicated fashions because the purchaser (a country's government) wants the product but said product doesn't suit the nation's forces ideally or they want the benefits from manufacturing said product at home rather than suffering drawbacks from importation. For example, the United States made an agreement with Saab Bofors Dynamics to purchase production rights to its Carl Gustav Recoiless Rifle for two reasons: First being that US armaments/equipment must be made in America by law (for those aforementioned various reasons), and second, because the branches interested in the system wanted to make modifications to the system in order to tailor it for its operators. Thus the US Armed Forces/Government made their agreement(s) with Saab Bofors Dynamics and then the US Government grants a contract to produce said product for its military forces to whichever company it selected to do so within the United States (in the US' case, there is often an American business that's subsidiary to the product owner's company that produces the system in America). What restrictions are in play aren't exactly known much of the time, but healthy speculations are that they're primarily security/business related. That said, Wolf Armaments and TECT are no different - or it's probably more accurate to say NS can work the same way. Both entities wish to protect their technological and market interests, thus agreements are crafted to protect them while giving customers the products they desire.

Thusly, What are Wolf Armaments' DPR Agreements then? To begin with, there are stated prices for all systems with DPRs available and none for those where DPRs aren't available; if you don't see a DPR price tag next to an item, that means DPRs aren't available for this product. There are also two different sets of DPRs listed on Wolf Armaments: "Flat Rate" & "By Product Rate." The Flat Rate is the most common in that it charges one single price tag for the DPR license - typically a set number of said products if purchased on the storefront. All naval ships, if offered, utilize the "By Product Rate DPR" layout. By Product Rate simply refers to the price one pays to produce one of said item. For example, if your country wishes to produce, not buy, a single Barrakuda FS, it must pay Wolf Armaments a DPR fee of one hundred and twenty-five million NSD. On Wolf Armaments, naval ship DPRs are all set to half the purchasing price. But to answer the original question posted above, Wolf Armaments' DPR Agreements essentially allow your country to produce the products it purchased licenses for without purchasing them from Wolf Armaments itself. To do this Wolf Armaments sends redacted copies of the plans to build said products and engineers to guide customers on how to construct said products. For naval ship purchasers using By Product Rates, Wolf Armaments staff are only present, along with redacted plans, to ensure the vessel is built and according to the plans. Once the customer has replicated the design with their staff and has everything needed (experienced builders and replica plans), Wolf Armaments' staff will leave and only return on request or to conduct investigated audits to ensure the agreement is being upheld. What is in this agreement exactly? The following are points of agreement that DPR customers agree to when purchasing DPRs:

• Contracts are between Wolf Armaments - possibly in conjecture with the government of TECT - and the customer government seeking the domestic production rights. Non-government entities may not apply for DPRs. This does not include the company/companies a purchasing government grants a manufacturing contract to once a DPR agreement is made. Such entities are third parties identified as government entities because they are servicing their government by producing said products.
• The customer is responsible for the integrity of its production and how it's used once fielded. Wolf Armaments takes no responsibility for products that fail expectations once produced nor does it hold responsibility for the actions taken by customers who use its products regardless if they were purchased or manufactured domestically. Weapons are tools made by man and thus man is responsible for their uses.
• As the responsible party, the customer is empowered to make alterations/modifications to the design that suit their specific interests or special needs. There are also no production limits in place for products or their building parts outside of the "By Product Agreement."
• The By Product Agreement, to those who apply, is a temporary DPR license for customers to construct a set number of naval ships (or other products). All BPA prices are half the naval ship cost and the agreement(s) are automatically terminated once construction is complete. If the product is not a naval ship, a different, possibly similar, price range shall be used.
• As the responsible party, the customer agrees to avoid confrontations (economic, diplomatic, and/or military) with TECT or Wolf Armaments and its subsidiaries. The customer also agrees to be the "End User" of whatever domestically produced Wolf Armaments product they've produced; this stipulates the customer is not allowed to sell, lend, or give away domestically produced Wolf Armaments products (modified or not) without the expressed permission of Wolf Armaments or the TECT government. This also pertains to technological, military, and intelligence secrets shared in plans or by staff used to construct domestically produced Wolf Armaments products (modified or not). Customers furthermore are prohibited from using Wolf Armaments products, technology, and designs to produce native designs in part or full. Lastly, customers are prohibited from using domestically produced products against TECT, its allies, or the Imperion Coalition.
