After the the Second Pacific War ended the general staff conducted an extensive review of our armed forces and they have determined that our forces'es performance was severely hampered by a lack of modern equipment. We are seeking easy to use, durable and inexpensive equipment capable of operating in humid jungle environments. Protection upgrades include a composite armour package with tungsten and ceramic sheets and a NBC protection system with included overpressure protection.   TRK-1 (takticheski raketen kompleks) is a short-range ballistic missile system designed to deliver high-precision strikes against unit positions, supplies and command infrastructure in the tactical depth of the enemy's operational area. The system utilises a solid-fueled quasiballistic missile with maneuvering capabilities and the ability to fly a non-parabolic trajectory, making it extremely difficult to intercept. Four kits with six radar decoys deploy in case of an anti-ballistic missile operation, creating a cloud of targets in the enemy radar and concealing the warhead's exact location.
  
  The missile is carried on an amphibious, NBC-protected armoured vehicle to ensure the mobility and survivability of the system. It is equipped with a tactical geotopographical console to determine all necessary optimal launch parametres, GLONASS-based guidance and targeting system, a radio set, air conditioning and a weapons compartment for crew defence. A launcher carrier one missile and two reloads in a separate vehicle. Reloading takes 8 minutes.

• Anti-Aircraft Rocket Systems - the Second Economic Committee offers the unique "Maranya" EMP surface-to-air missile system. It is a Bulgarian modification of the SA-2 Guideline SAM using a vircator to generate a strong electromagnetic, microwave and x-ray pulse, knocking out enemy aircraft inside its 5-kilometre blast radius. Unit cost is $ 5,700,000.
  
  

  
  
  "Maranya" is a powerful surface-to-air missile system. It was developed by the NPLA Military Engineering Department to counter aerial threats, especially stealth aircraft which are difficult to be locked on by traditional SAM systems.
  
  The "Maranya" SAM system utilises an upgraded V-755 rocket with a vircator warhead emitting a powerful electromagnetic and microwave pulse with a radius of 2-5 kilometres, disabling or completely destroying the electronic systems of enemy aircraft upon exploding. The missile does not require a target lock due to its large blast radius. A secondary but important benefit of this characteristic is that enemy aircraft will not receive a missile lock warning and undertake subsequent evasive maneuvers, significantly increasing the chance for an efficient kill.
  
  The lack of auxiliary radars and vehicles also reduces system deployment time and agility. Information on enemy aircraft groups can be obtained through early warning systems located dozens or hundreds of kilometres away, while target acquisition is performed solely through calculating the flight speed, direction and angle of the target group. "Maranya" has been successfully tested against stealth aircraft, disabling their vital electronic systems through a simultaneous electromagnetic, microwave and X-ray pulse. EMP-hardened targets will still receive damage from X-ray emissions, although kill efficiency in this case would be much lower.

  The Sukhoi Su-25MT "Kazuar" (cassowary) is a heavy strike aircraft developed by the Lovech Aircraft Works after an Air Force request for a counter-insurgency and ground attack aircraft was issued in early 2018. The "Kazuar" is an upgraded version of the Soviet-era Su-25T featuring digital avionics, thicker cockpit armour and a more powerful engine. It is perfect to carry low to mid-altitude missions against heavily fortified enemy posts due to its excellent protection and heavy payload.
  
  The aircraft has eleven hardpoints for up to 4,000 kilograms of ordnance, including air-to-surface and air-to-air missiles, rocket pods, guided or unguided bombs and containers with cluster munitions or mines. The "Kazuar" has increased cockpit armour compared to the original Su-25K (max. 30 mm compared to the original 24 mm), but also has a strengthened airframe through the introduction of carbon-based ribs under the fuselage and a lighter, yet more durable titanium alloy for most of the fuselage. To further increase survivability, the "Kazuar" employs a thicker stainless steel plate (8 mm) between the widely-spaced engines and a light auto-extinguishing system based on the one used in the "Imeon" main battle tank. During one of its first operational performances, the aircraft proved capable of withstanding a direct MANPADS hit against one of its engines and continued operating.
