South Seas Scoops would like to thank your for your submission of 50 Mile Fudge as a flavor for our ice creams and frozen yogurts. This sounds like it could be a very tasty treat. With the tropical flavors of coffee and cacao partially fulfilling our desires to keep our ice cream with the South Seas theme, this could be a winner. And the fact that this flavor comes from an individual respected in the ice cream business means something to our company; it is likely that this flavor has already been tested to some extent on the open market. This, of course is a blessing and a curse. On the one hand it gives a great testimony to its feasibility as a flavor and removing some of the investment risk; on the other hand we would like to establish our company as doing different things than other ice cream manufacturers already are. It is, unfortunately, a double edged sword.

We will explore the feasibility of our company adding this flavor to our portfolio, and will task our flavor gurus with experiments centered around this flavor in the coming week. Should this prove as a viable flavor, we will certainly give you full credit for the idea.

South Seas Scoops has receive your application to help supply our company with milk through your dairy. While we are very interested in bolstering our supplies of milk, we are sorry to inform you that your dairy application has been declined.

Our main challenge with your application is the self-reported time frame considering collecting and shipping of your milk. We do not believe one collection in two months is adequate for a quality ice cream product. For your reference, most of our dairy suppliers collect milk at least once a day and many twice per day. Since our company is founded on the principle of quality products, we are afraid that your milk would lose much of its quality over a two month span. While this may be culturally acceptable within the nation of Woodhold, we consider it to be too high of a risk for our business needs at this time.
