2. Please reply only with letterheads, and not just the application.

Who We Are

In November 5th, 1973, several media studios around the newly-unified Riysa met together in the capital of Tel al-Riyah. There, after some negotiation, they merged into one giant company - us, the Kaftan Media Group. Since the foundation, KMG has steadily grown into one of the largest and most respected media companies in Riysa, with influences and works in most forms of entertainment - video games, animation, and live-action films.

Now, as we continue to grow into the future, we are also proud to announce a new feature - licensing and translation. We have been greenlighted to negotiate translation and import contracts in a variety of media from foreign nations, as well as negotiating foreign exports of our own productions. We have listed our releases and their information, and have listed all appropriate forms. Please note that instead of giving a rating, we give "censorship notes" - there is no ratings system in Riysa, partially due to the censorship system here, so its our way of letting others know of any questionable material.

Please note that everything in Riysa is produced in Arabic, so for most countries, some form of subbed or dubbed translation will be needed.

Best of wishes to you!

Animated Series

Image
Intibah - Dibaba!

Name: !إنتباه - دبابة (Attention - Tank!)
Origin: Riysa (Domestic)
Type: Animated series
Length of Run: 1995 - 2001 (8 seasons, 160 episodes)
Running Time: 30 minutes (per episode)
Genre: Historical drama, Action, War/Military

Summary: This animated show is known for its achievements - it was the first animated feature sponsored and awarded by the government, it still holds the record for the longest - running Riysian series (both live-action and animated), and remain one of the highest-rated Riysian works. The series tells the story of a T-62 crew during the Unification War (1970-1973) and the Maraya al-Bahr Pacification (1974), following their day-to-day struggle to survive in the midst of one of the most turbulent periods of Riysian history. It has been praised for its devotion to historical accuracy - with almost everything about the show being real except the characters, who are mildly based off of real-life people - and its interesting and complex characters. It is broadcasted regularly on Riysian television, particularly on October 7th - Unification Day.

Notes for Foreign Censorship: As a historical war series, there is a lot of graphic violence and blood. The level may or may not be acceptable depending on your nation's censorship laws.
Foreign Releases: NETV Network Group (Neu Engollon), English and Frandit subtitles;

Summary: A popular sports show, it covers a school martial arts team as it practices and competes in local and national championships. With a simple plot and likable characters, it gained popularity, particularly among the youth. It is thought that it partially contributed to a rise in the amount of youth participating in sports.

Notes for Foreign Censorship: Of course, as a martial arts series, there is mild violence.

Ahmad wa Yasmeen - Season 1

Name: أحمد وياسمين (Ahmad and Yasmin)
Origin: Riysa (Domestic)
Type: Animated series
Length of Run: 2013 (1 seasons, 20 episodes, season 2 in production)
Running Time: 30 minutes (per episode)
Genre: Horror, Post-Apocalyptic Fiction

Summary: A more recent production, Ahmad and Yasmin has maintained a steadily growing fanbase after its initial release in early 2013. In a world completely destroyed and changed by nuclear war, can fifteen year-old Ahmad and his nine year-old sister Yasmin survive? Is there even any one out there, and if so...would they be friendly, or not? The show is notable for primarily relying on psychological horror, instead of violence, and not including any mutated life.

A season 2 is currently in production, and will be licensed separately.

Notes for Foreign Censorship: Of course, the themes in this can be quite dark and unsuitable for young children. Some violence is shown, although not too much.

Live-Action Series

Image
Ayam al-Zamaan

Name: أيام الزمان (Days of Old)
Origin: Riysa (Domestic)
Type: Live-action series
Length of Run: 2007-2011 (4 seasons, 60 episodes)
Running Time: 60 minutes (per episode)
Genre: Historical drama, Slice-of-life

Summary: Set in 1920s Riysa, Days of Old covers the inhabitants of a district in Tel al-Riyah, and how they go about their lives and try to continue on with their traditions and culture as the world rapidly changes around them. Notably, Days of Old was partially funded and was awarded by the government for its subject matter - a look at the days of old, a popular subject matter in Riysa - and received several awards for characterization.

Notes for Foreign Censorship: Minor amounts of violence in the form of shibriyah fights, for example.
Foreign Releases: NETV Network Group (Neu Engollon), English and Frandit subtitles;

Ya Ahmaq!

Name:!يا أحمق (You Fool!)
Origin: Riysa (Domestic)
Type: Live-action series
Length of Run: 2012-2014 (2 seasons, 30 episodes, season 3 in production)
Running Time: 60 minutes (per episode)
Genre: Comedy

Summary: Oh Fool! is a wacky comedic show, consisting of a series of different skits with seemingly little to no relevance on each other hashed together, to form a story per episode. The humor isn't hard to understand but isn't stupid either, and the subtle plot provides a minor Easter Egg to whoever can follow it.

Notes for Foreign Censorship: Slapstick comedy abounds in this show.

Please use one form per product, and not more.
Also, please remember that everything is originally in Arabic, so for most countries, some form of translation will probably be required. A single form CAN be used for multiple language translations of a single product.

Live action movies can license for around one hundred million (>$80.0m) or more depending on budget and projections.

New Bid From NETV Makes Promising Start - 28/5/2014

On this day, May 28th, NETV Network Group completed a contract with Kaftan Media Group in a bid worth in total around 90 million Lira, licensing four animated and live action series and the movie Hero of the Republic for viewers across Neu Engollon and neighboring Astyrian countries in general. Although the bids were acknowledged to be somewhat lower-priced, baring the offer for Attention-Tank, Kaftan seemingly believes that it can more than make up the lost amount with royalties from the shows and movie thanks to the widespread viewership of the NETV networks.

Whether that will be the case or not is a good issue for the economists to predict, but it seems that Kaftan has started exporting on the right foot. It remains to be seen though how well Kaftan can compete internationally...

To: Jamal Sitri, CEO, Kaftan Media Group
From: Dieter Taumann, CEO, NETV Network Group
RE: Licensing of Multiple Products for Neu Engollian broadcast

Mr. Sitri,

I write to you in order to acquire some of your media products for the NETV family of networks. While we are government funded, we also tend to generate a good deal of our own ad revenue and are a thriving network that has worldwide appeal. We would like to broaden our appeal as well as the horizons of Confederacy citizens, and so we come to you.
Also, with the volume of programming we are ordering, we hope that our lower bids for some of your older produced programming might be acceptable.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Dieter Taumann, CEO, NETV Network Group

Subject: Re: Licensing of Multiple Products for Neu Engollian broadcast

Mr. Taumann,

It is a pleasure to see your interest in Riysian media, and specifically our own productions. We understand that you have offered lower-end bids for non-exclusive licensing rights to our older productions, and will accept it - the recent economy has hit all of us, and we believe that a mutual association is in the best of both of our interests.

All of your orders have been accepted, for a total of $90.5 million in initial fees alone. We hope that your viewers enjoy it all!

With Well-wishes,

Jamal Sitri, CEO, Kaftan Media Group

To Kaftan Media Group:

Greetings! Kauvers International Holdings is interested in investing in Kaftan Media Group as we see great potential with the help of a large capital injection! We have observed that there is a share opening available in your storefront, and we'd like to purchase the remaining 10% of shares to help you develop your storefront further. We have successfully assisted with the direction of many successful storefronts through our investments such as Byzantium™ Exotic Animal Products, Trelatche Computing Development, even the popular Rostislavovich Arms and Exports, and many others.

We will offer the NS$5.2 million in capital injection to the overall operations of Kaftan Media Group to expand your international business operations, in exchange for a 10% ownership(100,000 shares) of Kaftan Media Group.

Kauvers Holdings will also offer our consulting services for other investors to your board of directors in terms of corporate expansion, for we are interested in developing creative businesses here at GE&T. Should this deal be agreed upon, we can propose for many many more partnerships between larger Recon Empire corporations such as The Legion Corporation, and its various subsidiaries to engage in businesses with Kaftan Media Group, thereby increasing publicity and overall revenue of your companies. We have the abilities to allow your business to prosper, and we seek your trust.

Furthermore, we have an operational corporate security force that will protect our investment partners in times of conflicts of interest. You can find out more at Nexus Group International.

Rating in home country: 14+
What material does it have that gave it that rating? (ex. violence, swearing, etc.) Violence, blood, war-crimes
Any further comments/questions/requests?

The movie is a Pan-Arab hit, and takes place during the Bashrian-Ardoki War, Bashria and Tunisia are under attack by invading Ardokian forces, the movie follows a citizen-soldier Mohammed Rasheed as he takes part in the fighting against the invading forces, the movie is very sad and also very glorious at the same time, based on a true story, the movie upholds Pan-Arab ideals.

The Breakfast Courier Company

To Whom it May Concern,

Good Morning/Evening/Afternoon, I am a representative of the Breakfast Courier Company, we are a regional newspaper that represents the roleplay happenings in the region of the Official European Union. We are the second largest newspaper there, however, we have the most viewers. This is due to us constantly doing new things to keep or newspaper exciting to new viewers. Our newspapers include comics,
news, financial news, recipes, quotes, and to the point of this letter; advertisements. These advertisements link to other newspapers, GE&T companies, and to other organizations. So, we ask if you would like to have an advertisement on one of our papers. You will have to design the advertisement, it can be a .gif or .png or .jpg image. If you do not have the resources to design an ad you can use your company's logo. We very much look forward to displaying your ad on our newspaper. Remember, there is not limit; so you can request for your ad to be put on multiple newspapers (they cannot be consecutive, you cannot have your ad on Issue #39 and then on Issue #40. But Issue #39 and then Issue #45 would be okay.)

Thank You for your consideration

Violence is only justified when used against equal violence. If you ideology requires violence to establish it, you're wrong. I am a Roman Catholic, and I would consider myself economically liberal and very socially conservative. I am against any ideology that seeks to crush any person for any reason, and limit the potential of any person.

JOIN THE Official European Union
WE ARE A ROLEPLAY REGION!
BUT WE ALSO HAVE REGIONAL POLITICS AND A PARLIAMENT
