South Seas Soda Company would be honored to partner with The Nomad's Press! Our beverages will now be made available at bookstores and other places operated by your company. We find this as an excellent opportunity to help quench the thirsts of your guests.

We have always touted our sodas' ability to whisk an individual away to the South Seas; what an excellent compliment to the power of a good book that can whisk an individual away to exotic lands. Now these actions can be had together! A match made in soda heaven, if you ask us!

We extend our gratitude for your business, and we thank you for taking a soda holiday to the South Seas!

Attention: Harris Cornwall

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your submission of Orange-Apple as a potential new flavor for our portfolio. As you may guess, our flavor ideas must go through rigorous testing to be approved for addition to our portfolio. While our creative flavor chefs work very hard at perfecting new recipes, it is a bit uncanny how many ideas slip past us unknown until suggested by our fans.

We will task our chefs with concocting a perfect blend of these flavors during the following weeks; we will also be conducting market research on the feasibility of this flavor's success if it is added to our portfolio. Rest assured, if we choose to implement this flavor in full, we will give credit where it is due.

Again, we thank you for helping us to be on the cutting edge of introducing innovative flavors to our fans; creative and exotic flavors are one more way to offer our customers a soda holiday to the South Seas!

Guten tag,
My name is Carius Mauser, General-Secretary of Yytuskian Industry and Regulations. I'm writing this letter to you, South Seas Soda Company, in hopes of business within Yytuskian borders.

For years, Yytuskia has been closed off from outside businesses and culture, and has monopolized its resources and ideas within our borders. However, as of late, the Prime Minister has opened our borders to foreign ideals and trade. South Soda will be our first business venture into the world, and we were wishing to have a very good agreement to have. Below is an application for the allowance of your "Soda Lounge" to be operated within Yytuskian cities.

We appreciate your time on this matter, and hope you get back to us on this.

Sincerly,

Attention: Carius Mauser

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your gracious invitation to open soda lounges within your nation. However, at this time, we must respectfully decline your invitation. We were greatly excited to bring our soda lounges to Yytuskia; however one item on your application has led to an uncompromising situation.

Your application notes that we must allow Wunderfizz Brewires to sell their sodas in tangent with our company's beverages. While we have supreme confidence in our beverages, it is simply not our policy to serve a competitor's offerings within our wholly owned establishments. We are all for an open competition and free market; as such we would be more than willing to operate soda lounges nearby Wunderfizz Brewires locations, but we can not relinquish our operations to be partially open to competitors. We wish Wunderfizz all the best in their business.

Please let me reiterate that we would be very excited to operate within your nation. If there is the possibility of serving our beverages without the in-building competition, or if there is a different solution which can be attained, we would love to bring our refreshing, hand crafted sodas to your residents and guests.

We hope to help you with a soda holiday to the South Seas in the future.

From the Offices of the General-Secretary of Yytuskian Industry
Guten tag,
First off, I would like to thank you for informing us politely of the uncompromising situation that we unintentionally caused between our two companies, and how quickly you got back to us on our application. I understand now, that the allowance of both South Sea Soda Co. and Wunderfizz Brewires would cause a rift to form within the soda lounges, and dissatisfaction and/or other problems would have occurred. To this end, we have revised the application we have sent in, allowing only your sodas to be sold within any South Sea Soda Co. soda lounge location in Yytuskia, while Wunderfizz Brewires will be selling its product elsewhere. This hereby solves your issue with selling in tangent with Wunderfizz Brewires, as well as allows you to operate within Yytuskia borders.

Secondly, I have now realized that if we were to allow South Sea Soda Co. to operate in Yytuskia, there would need to be an easier way to import your beverages other than shipping them into Yytuskia by freight, where they would no doubt cost more then what is needed. Therefore, I have also sent in an application to open a South Sea Soda Co. brewery within Yytuskia, in our capital city of Gletchstiknsburg, to allow easier distribution of your sodas to the Lounges around our nation. Also, the General-Secretary of States, Mr. William Sven, has agreed to allow workers from Costa Aluria to relocate to Yytuskian soil if you wish to supply workers for this new brewery. While they might not be needed, I'm pretty sure that many of the workers at this brewery might need training in order to properly produce your beverages.

Once again, we appreciate your time on this matter, and wish you a very nice day while you wade through your daily paperwork.

Sincerely,

Attention: Carius Mauser

South Seas Soda Company is pleased to hear of your change of heart regarding the soda lounges you have invited us to operate within Yytuskia! With the path now clear of offering competitor beverages in the soda lounge, we would be honored to operate 37 soda lounges throughout the nation! Our soda lounges are hip and happening places where individuals can come together to enjoy our beverages in a different way than how we typically advertise. Now residents and guests near these 37 locations will have an excellent way to unwind with their closest friends and like minded people. What a wonderful opportunity for our company to be involved in the social scene of Yytuskia!

In addition, we would be doubly honored to open a soda brewery and bottle filling plant within Gletchstiknsburg! As our company expands globally, it is wonderful news indeed to be on the right side of the logistical needs of our delivery system. A new brewery within your nation will not only make access to our beverages easier for your nation, but also surrounding nations who wish to purchase our product. As we pride ourselves on having the freshest product and not unnecessarily warehousing product, a new brewery will help to meet this as demand increases. We note your invitation for any of our company's workforce to join you in Yytuskia; however, we feel that our workforce is best represented when it is comprised of individuals local to the area. As such, we ask that all employees of the new brewery come to our Costa Alurian campus, at our expense, to undergo an intensive six week soda brewery university to familiarize themselves with South Seas Soda Company techniques and culture.

We extend our gratitude for your business, and cannot wait to operate in your nation. We thank you for taking a soda holiday to the South Seas!

South Seas Soda Company would be honored to open a new soda brewery and bottle filling plant in Sydney! As our global demand increases, we are aware of the increased pressure placed on our shipping logistics. As you may know, our company prides itself on offering the freshest product possible. As such we do not unnecessarily warehouse large amounts of product. An additional soda brewery with Australian Republic will certainly help alleviate some of the difficulties with delivering the freshest product on a worldwide scale.

To familiarize the themselves with South Seas Soda Company techniques and culture, we ask the brewery's workforce to come to our Costa Alurian campus for an intensive six week brewing university. All expenses for this request will be paid by our company.

We extend our gratitude to you for helping us in allowing more individuals access to a soda holiday in the South Seas!

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for the suggestion of birch beer as a flavor to be added to our portfolio. We may be tipping our hand just a little bit, but birch beer is actually one of the flavor varieties we discovered in the recently found journal of our founder, Percival Houghton. Before we had found the journal, we had no idea that Percival knew about birch beer; we always assumed he knew nothing about this flavor due to the lack of birch trees in the tropical location of Costa Aluria. What a wonderful surprise we were in for! Not only was a genuine recipe for birch beer present, but also many more original recipes.

We have been taking a deliberate approach in unveiling flavors from the journal into our portfolio. Without giving away too much information, we encourage you to keep an eye on this page for important updates to our flavor portfolio in the future; you may very well see birch beer brought soon!

We will be sure to credit you with suggesting the flavor, in addition to noting its presence in our founder's journal, should this flavor make its way into production.

On a related note, if this flavor makes its way into our flavor portfolio, South Seas Soda Company would be interested in leasing lands accessible to birch tree propagation within Tuva SSR. As we have noted, there are no birch trees endemic to Costa Aluria, making supply for this flavor very difficult. Access to lands within your nation would make the production much more feasible and increase the odds of birch beer being fully introduced to our portfolio.

In addition, we would be interested in opening a soda brewery and bottling plant within Tuva SSR, close to these lands where birch beer could be brewed.

If your nation is friendly to these ideas, we would love to partner with you before birch beer is introduced into the portfolio. You may read about and apply to our farm space request at SouthSeasSoda.com.alu/farms, while brewery applications can be found at SouthSeasSoda.com/alu/breweries.

We look forward to your response with great anticipation.

Attention: Cobmeister Ministry of Commerce

South Seas Soda Company has received your communique regarding a possible soda brewery within Cobmeister. Please forgive us for our delay in responding as we have been caught up in discussions with our leadership regarding a change in time frame to introduce a new flavor of soda.

While we are interested in operating a soda brewery and bottle filling plant within Cobmeister, we are not certain that Ballynabawnya is the correct location. Your application notes that this city receives a 6/10 rating on accessibility to supply chains. As our company expands globally, it is imperative for us to be on the correct side of the logistical chain, meaning that we must invest in locations that have exemplary accessibility. Greater accessibility means that our customers can receive their orders in a more timely manner and ensures that only the freshest product is delivered.

We do not believe that a brewery with only just over half accessibility meets that desire for our company; as such we regret to inform you that your application has been tentatively denied. We welcome an additional application from your nation if there is a city with greater accessibility to global supply lines.

We hope to hear from you soon.

With cheer,

Attention: Kim Chang Li

First, allow us to apologize for our delay in responding, as we have been caught up in meetings with our leadership regarding the possibility of moving up the release of birch beer as a soda choice within our portfolio.

Secondly, that is an interesting find indeed about Houghton's Old-Fashioned Carbonated Birch Soda! Could this be a long lost offshoot of our founder's energies in the early field of soda making? If it is, it is certainly one of the best kept secrets within our company's history, as there is no mention of it within his journal. At the very least, we take it as a good sign that we should proceed with haste on the development of birch beer within our portfolio.

On a separate note, we have received applications from leaders within your nation on the specific details of leasing birch forest acreage and regarding a soda brewery and bottle filling plant. If all goes well with these situations, we will proceed with introducing our birch beer into our portfolio in a very short while.

We thank you once again for your submission of the flavor, essentially springboarding us into action. We are always looking to be on the cutting edge of bringing the new and exotic flavors of the South Seas to our customers.

With cheer,

Attention: Premier Kayr Digyatov

South Seas Soda Company would be honored to operate a soda brewery and bottle filling plant within Vladivostok! As our company expands, we are very excited about the opportunity to increase our supply logistics to ensure the freshest product is delivered to our customers.

You may or may not know of the negotiations within your nation for our company to introduce birch beer within our portfolio. It appears that this will be accomplished soon. As such, we would love for this brewery within your nation to produce our entire portfolio of sodas, but to specialize in our production of birch beer. We are assured that this would be the greatest use of its capacities as Tuva SSR is much closer to the birch forests which would be utilized in its production. We have also recently learned of the presence of Houghton's Old-Fashioned Carbonated Birch Beer, a company of interesting note within your nation's history. These things combined lend further credence to our hope that this brewery can specialize in our birch beer production.

As with all of our new soda breweries, we ask your potential brewery employees to come at our company's expense to our Costa Alurian campus for an intensive six week brewing university to familiarize themselves with South Seas Soda Company techniques and culture.

We extend our gratitude for this invitation, and thank you for helping us to supply the next soda holiday to the South Seas!

Attention: Panolik Birch Forest Management, if applicable

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your application regarding birch forest space available within your nation. As you may or may not know, our company has been in talks to move up the deadline for introducing birch beer into our portfolio. In fact, it was these very discussions which caused the delay in our response; please forgive us for our delay.

As we look to supply this demand, space within a birch forest would be a welcome ordeal. As such, we would be quite pleased to lease land from Panolik Birch Forest. However, we are uncertain that we would need such a large amount of the forest space. As we seek to use extract from the birch, we assure you that the techniques described in the journal of company's founder are quite efficient and do not harm the trees in any way. Since this is the case, we do not believe our estimated need to be above 5000 acres of birch forest. We would prefer to lease this amount of land and keep the unspoiled beauty of the remaining parcel for the enjoyment of your nation's citizens and natural wildlife. Doing such will keep the vast majority of this area undisturbed.

We would like to lease the tract of land most accessible to a soda brewery which is to be located in Vladivostok, for obvious supply chain reasons.

We hope that we can bring this option to fruition, and further hope that a reduced price is available on the lease as we will not be using the full acreage.

We look forward to your response on this matter, and thank you for helping us bring the flavors of the South Seas to our customers.

With cheer,

Yes,we forgive you for the long delay. We would like to inform you that Houghton's current owner,Alfred Houghton, that he IS related to a Houghton who travelled from Polynesia and brought Birch recipes with him.We are having trouble communicating him, however, but will contact you with more information.I have also been informed of my Premier's decision to create a brewery in Vladivostok.

We are glad to be informed of the accepting of a South Seas Brewery in Vladivostok. The brewery will be placed in an old factory building that fell out of use in the 1970s (after it is referbished,of course). It is expected to be opened on October 1st,with a maximum deadline of January 20th.We thank you for your consideration, and hope to see Birch Beer made into the portfolio.

We forgive you for the delay. And we understand you want the best for the environment. Therefore,we will limit our original lease to 5,000 acres,as it seems fit for what you need.It is also a few hundred miles from Vladivostok, but the next closest one is on the Kamchatka Peninsula,so it's a pain to get to it.

Thank You,

Attention: Kim Chang Li

We are most interested indeed in this developing news item regarding Mr. Alfred Houghton and his family lineage. We would be most excited to discover a link between the founders of South Seas Soda Company and Houghton's Old-Fashioned Carbonated Birch Beer.

Please do keep us posted as your attempts to communicate continue.

Attention: Premier Kay Digyatov

South Seas Soda Company thanks you once again for the invitation to operate a soda brewery within Vladivostok. We think the proposed time frame is perfectly acceptable, though we may be able to push up the date from October to sooner. We are very diligent in our efforts to further our production line once we have made a decision to do so.

A factor in major consideration regarding this faster time line is that our company has recently agreed to lease 5,000 acres of birch forest relatively near Vladivostok which can supply all of the birch extract needed to successfully integrate birch beer into our portfolio. As such, we plan on launching our birch beer into our portfolio in the very near future. While we are certainly able to begin production before the opening of the brewery in Vladivostok, our hope is to not bring too great a delay in producing birch beer at that localized brewery since the supply chain is so near. It is for this very reason that we plan to hire as many local construction hands as possible within Vladivostok to complete the factory renovations in as short a time period as possible. If necessary, the only essential requirements for a partial operation are brew kettles and an automated bottle filler; renovations could continue in selected areas removed from this operation while these were operable.

We have placed the initial order for large brew kettles and equipment, as well as beginning negotiations with our provider of automated bottle filling machines for the manufacture of needed equipment.

Once again we thank you for helping us to bring the flavors of the South Seas to our customers.

With cheer,

We thank you for this wonderful opportunity. We have been working feverishly on the launch of birch beer into our portfolio, and having a ready supply of birch extract is of utmost importance to our operation. With such a supply now secured, we will be introducing birch beer very shortly.

Again, we thank you for helping to supply the flavors of the South Seas!

It is with great excitement that South Seas Soda Company announces its latest big news! We are pleased to announce two new flavors to our portfolio!

On the left you will note our Birch Beer flavor. This vintage flavor was one of the original recipes penned by our founder Percival Houghton over 100 years ago. For years, we did not know of its existence as the recipe was lost to our company. Little did we know that Percival even knew of Birch Beer as Birch is not a tree endemic to the tropical islands of Costa Aluria. But then, a few months ago,
a wonderful discovery was made when we found Percival's secret journal while performing some renovations to our main soda brewery. There, hidden inside, were several recipes that had been lost to time. And to our delight, one of those recipes was for Birch Beer. We can only assume what great pains Percival must have gone through to secure a supply of Birch extract!

It is at this point that we must give our sincere thanks to Kim Chang Li from Tuva SSR. It was at his wonderful request that our company began negotiations to push forward to timeline on Birch Beer's release into our portfolio. While we had been planning its release for some time, his suggestion really put into motion an entire series of events that led to securing a steady supply of Birch extract and ensuring that brewery production would not be interrupted. On a similar note, we are always crowdsourcing new ideas for flavors. If you have an idea for a new and exotic flavor, please drop us a line. We will do our best to perform market research and determine whether your flavor is viable for our portfolio. It is one of the ways we stay on the cutting edge of the flavor frontier!

In addition to our Birch Beer flavor, we are proud to introduce a flavor concocted by our current line of flavor geniuses. On the right you will see our Prickly Pear flavor, a flavor which we have performed extensive research on during the past few months. While it has taken its own sweet time to create, we believe we have come up with the perfect blend of juice from the Prickly Pear Cactus with other natural flavors. It is a great reminder that even in the South Seas, there are fruits which are not necessarily confined to the tropical rainforest. Our islands have desert space too! Our Prickly Pear flavor is a sweet blend that we know will be a big hit within our portfolio.

With the release of Birch Beer and Prickly Pear into our line, our portfolio now boasts 33 traditional and tropical flavors! We extend our sincere gratitude to the international community for helping our sodas achieve the fame that they have! Keep your eyes on this space for the release of even newer soda flavors in the future.

With effervescence,

MERCANTILE APPLICATION
From: Jarm Yonder
Nation of Origin: Saint-Sebastian
Number and location of mercantiles to open within your nation: 5 Hirschfeld, Stonewall, S K Ride International Airport, Dante's Cove, & Harvey.
Comments/Notes: Saint-Sebatian is as a small but booming republic in the arid west of Phosee. People are tired of a diet restricted to the same bland staples available in in the region. There is a pent-up demand for new flavours and the country as a whole is experiencing 'Pacificmania'. I believe now would be the perfect time to open a couple of SSSC franchises.

Attention: Harold Salibuni

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for the flavor submission of "pomegranate." We are always looking for crowd sourced ideas to keep us on the frontier of introducing new and exotic flavors.

At this time, we have no intentions of releasing pomegranate as a flavor, and that is a good thing. It is not that we don't believe pomegranate would be a good flavor. It is completely the opposite; we think pomegranate is a great flavor. It is for this reason that we already have pomegranate featured in our Hibiscus Grenadine flavor. We understand the confusion--we've chosen the somewhat fancier term of grenadine instead of pomegranate, but the effect is the same since grenadine is made from pomegranate. Trust us, many people have misunderstood this designation.

Again, we thank you for thinking of our company and specifically ways that our portfolio could improve. It is just this type of forward thinking that helps us bring the exotic flavors of the South Seas.
