South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your recent communication regarding farm space available at your gardens. While we are tentatively interested in more orchard space, at this time we must decline your application. There are a few reasons we would like to explain for this decline, as listed below.

First of all, while we have agreed to terms in the past with farms offering small farming land, our company would now like to lease more substantial lots. Simply put, the maintenance on a larger farm makes it more economically feasible than a smaller scale plot. As you may guess, the amount of fruit needed for our all-naturally flavored sodas is quite high, especially given the global demand on our popular beverages; therefore, we are concerned that the investment on a small plot does not give the returns that a larger plot could.

Furthermore, without a firm price in place, we could not proceed on a deal regardless of plot size. Since so many fruits are used in our operation process, coming from many different fields, and only part of the finished product, a profit analysis per field is simply impossible to calculate. While we appreciate the idea of a fluctuating price based on yield rather than being locked into an unfair agreement for either side, a full profit breakdown per farm space can not be calculated.

Despite our respectful decline, we would be interested in the future given these two conditions are improved in a subsequent application. Should 100 or more acres of farmland be made available, and should a reasonable fixed price be agreeable, we would be amiable to reconsideration.

We thank you for your consideration, and look forward to a time in the future when our mutual interests can be met in a partnership.

Dear South Seas Soda Company,

I have been recently assigned Head Engineer of the Armenian Board on Everything Edible for our Awesome Citizen's most ambitious project yet. Armenia's water supply has been deemed "clear" and "unflavorful" by many citizens. The Armenian Government is offering a 30 billion USD contract to whichever corporation can solve this problem by converting all of our capitol city's water supplies into grape soda. As this message is being written, several boreholes are being installed that lead directly to the aquifer where the city's water is drawn from.

We are requesting the South Seas Soda Company to provide enough grape soda syrup to flavor the city's water supplies, as well as add carbonation.

We understand that this may seem like a large task to accomplish, however you will be given an entire 6 months to complete it. I am required by Armenian law at this point to tell you that if the project is not completed in six months, 25% your workers will be required to get Armenian citizenship.
