About Us

Sir Kenzsterling International Airport is the premier international airport of Kenzinia City, Kenzinia's former capital. It was named after Sir Kenzsterling, former mayor of Kenzinia City and the creator of the Kenzsterling, Kenzinia's currency. It is entirely owned and managed completely by the Kenzinia Airport Group (KAG) under the Kenzinia City local government. The airport is the main HQ of FlyKenzinia, Kenzinia's flag carrier.

Located in Southwestern District of Kenzinia City, the airport was founded in 1992 as the replacement of the city's old airport, Falconia Airport. It was used mostly for domestic flights within Kenzinia, since the international terminal was built in 2012. It operated a single 1750 meter long runway. In 2013, it's length was doubled to 3500 meters and a second runway was built. 6 maintenance hangars were built in 2013 to repair broken aircraft and for aircraft maintenance, all of them are operated by FlyKenzinia. The airport is now one of the largest and most important airports in Kenzinia, passing 8,000,000 passengers and 50,000 tonnes of cargo yearly.

Mr Al-Izzudin Sahid was picked by Rafka Mahendra as the new General Manager replacing himself prior to the election of Mr Rafka as Kenzinia's new Minister of Transportation.

Passenger Information

Passenger Info

Arrivals

After landing and arriving at your gate, you will see two different corridors with signs for "Arrivals" and "Transfer". Please follow each to the respective designated areas.

Passengers will be directed towards a downward escalator that will bring them to the underground baggage claim beneath each respective terminal upon arrival. Each gate has its own baggage claim. After picking up your luggage, signs will direct you towards the nearest Customs and Security checkpoint.
Kenzinian law prohibits the transport of the following:

  • Animals (especially dogs) diagnosed with rabies
  • Narcotic drugs
  • Knives or sharp weapons of any type (Swiss Army Knives are allowed)
  • Firearms of any kinds (including replicas and toys)
  • Alcoholic beverages

Please note that alcoholic beverages purchased in the airport or via duty-free purchases are allowed through customs and security checkpoints provided they are declared and checked prior to entering the Federation of Kenzinia or other nations in Islam.

After leaving Customs and Security, please proceed and walk to the main terminal building. Once arriving at the main terminal, passengers are free to use the subway, the bus or taxi, or wait in the Arrivals area for transportation.

Transfer
Image

For transferring passengers, please follow the corridor with the sign "Transfer" to the nearest transfer desk in each terminal. Each gate has its own desk. If you have already checked-in or don't need to check-in, please follow the corridor and wait for the Airport Transit bus that will bring you to the respective terminal.

Do you need a rest after an 8-hour flight while waiting for the plane you want to transfer to? Or do you want to stay in a luxurious hotel just 2 kilometers from the airport? No problem!

Just outside Kenzinia City lies the Vandeviere Airport Suites at SKIA. Bordered by nature with Kenzinia City visible in the distance, this airport hotel is quiet and a great spot to spot stars in the night sky.

Rooftop pools and bars make this a haven for guests to have a drink or take a dip. Meanwhile, the shopping concourse below is perfect for shopping therapy and restaurant hopping. Gardens surrounding the building make for a cool, calm oasis even in the hottest of days.

Check-In and Departure
Image

Check-in of tickets and luggage is performed on the ground floor in the entrance hall of terminals 1 and 2. There are 20 check-in counters for each gate. There are also special check-in counters for passengers with airline privileges.

The check-in process can be done by either live check-in or by online check-in. International departure check-ins begin 3 hours prior to the departure and ends 30 minutes prior to departure. Check-in for domestic flights begins 90 minutes prior to departure and ends 20 minutes prior to departure. After ticket issuance, all passengers should proceed to the nearest security checkpoint. After leaving the security checkpoint, please feel free to use all the facilities at your pleasure or wait for the Airport Transit bus.

Whatever sunny place your travelers are headed to, we have a style for them. Whether they plan to spend their time at the beach, at the pool, or on the town, our fashions are a wonderful way to beat the heat.

We are particulary interested in setting up operations within your international terminal as this will allow the highest traffic rate for travelers who may be headed to sunny or tropical destinations. While we know that no airport outlet would be large enough to house our hundreds of styles, we are committed to bringing our top-selling styles to your terminal and passengers. These styles are market tested and we are certain there will be a style both fashionable and flattering for every age, size, and shape.

We look forward to a sunny business partnership with your airport. Our application to lease retail space is attached.

Any day you get sand in your shoes is a good day.

Graciously,
Caroline Hume, Chief Fashion Executive, Sol Beachwear
