Your colleague, Rachel Bultimeyer, today contacted Archon Hotels Group with the idea of expanding to a partnership with us, with the intention of supplying a selection of books to our clientèle. After some pondering, Archon respects this idea, but would rather amend it on the basis that Archon Hotels Group, with both brands, already provides a reading room. We have books, magazines, newspapers, and we do not like to sell anything- rather, we just want to provide an environment where one can sit and read. All books are security-tagged and traceable.

Therefore, we would still see demand for e-readers from the Fireside range, to be made available for use in these reading rooms. We intend to individually fit an exterior security tag, and embed the tablet into a tabletop to minimise the risk of malicious or accidental theft. We feel that purchasing such items would be much more beneficial, though they would be credited as Birch Bark Books / Fireside.
