That raises the number of Maulet III in Naxeran service to 235.

[Batea del Nord]

Batean Army and marines received 293 Maulet IIIs in two batches one of 260 (242 for the army and for the 18 Marines) and Another of 33 IFVs (31 for the Army and 2 for the Marines). Total: 273 for the army and 20 for the Marines. Enough to reequip the 2nd Motorized Brigade and the Marine 1st amphibious scout coy. The Maulet 8x8 APCs License assembled, by Batean automotive company BATRA (a lorry builder) using a 55% of Batean components. For a total cost of 516.6€ millions of whom 74 were built by CAE Land systems and the other 219 by BATRA.
Batea received an Off set worth 504€ million. That included the upgrade of the Batean F16A/Bs to MLU version and Upgrades to several BDIH companies. Fire support vehicles. finally fell from the original order and were replaced by 33 extra IFVs.

Antaviana is going to be along my military the launching customer of the improved, more protected and enlarged M119 Maulet IV in 8x8 configuration.

The final cost per vehicle is 3.9m after offset investments agreement. That would make the cost similar to my vehicles. And 3.3 unit cost for the additional vehicles.
