POSTING AS THE COLONY OF NEW AVINAA(N.A.):


With the legitimate Government of Avinaa focused on fighting the civil war at home the Colony of New Avinaa has been given more power to rule themselves. In 1589 the first elections for the Colonial Assembly took place but again Rome was distracted by the War of the Two Coalitions this gave the Royal Governor and the Vizier(prime minister) greater say on domestic and foreign affairs and so since 1605 New Avinaa has acted more like a independent principality rather then a colony under the rule of an Imperial power.

NA's Deputy Royal Governor and with the Trade Minister has with representatives from the Merchant Guild been in Kapal negotiating a trade deal with the Colony. The colony has also expanded west where they came in contact with Arconese explorers although at first relations almost lead to war native tribesmen that knew the language of Acro managed to prevent war.

[The Prima Nova Illuminate]

Illuminati (ooc: Shocker, and not related to the "real" illuminati) missionaries have spread to many countries across Aysling over the last few months via converted citizens in each nation. Small places of worship toward the Illuminated have been constructed or marked off in the homes of foreign worshipers.

With the recent influx of foreign Illuminati missionaries in the nation, the Severrakian Holy Council is on edge. They are worried that the people are being corrupted by the false religion of these heathens and want them gone. His holiness,head of the Severrakian Church, has given an official warning to the foreign missionaries that their religion is not welcome in Severrakia and that if they refuse to leave action will be taken.

[The Prima Nova Illuminate]

The Illuminati leadership has asked to recall the missionaries to avoid bloodshed, but the followers and some of the missionaries have decided to remain practising their religion in secret. In the meanwhile, the West Nova Company has decided to start settling the southeastern continent's mainland, expanding the influence of their religion. The Growth of the Illuminate's influence has slowed due to the Severrak influence over the Western nations, but the native populace of Illuminati colonies have gladly taken on the new faith, which promotes peace by meditation, with special martial arts forms (ooc: similar to Tai Chi)

My nation will continue to spread into the grasslands to the South East. My nation will also attempt to spread Northward into the mountains West of the colony of Brekovia (if Brekovia complies).

Uzeuh has recently formed an aliance with the nation of Moshchnyy and its colony Brekovia. The nation of Uzeuh plans to continue its capmaigns to spread South Eastwards and Northwards around Brekovia.
