Welcome to Air Gerelia's official website. Air Gerelia is Gerelia's favourite airline company and also Gerelia's only carbon-neutral luxury airline company, so not only are you flying in high quality but you are saving the planet too. We have now been an eco friendly airline company since 2006. Nine out of ten scientists agree that we need to reduce our carbon emissions. Air travel is one of the biggest causes of carbon emissions and global warming which is another great reason why you should choose us over non eco-friendly airline companies. Air Gerelia is the only airline in Gerelia that plants trees to offset every pound of carbon that our planes release into the atmosphere above. We also use bio fuel which decreases our carbon emissions. We only use rain water on board to fill our sinks and flush our toilets. Not only will we do our part to protect the environment, we will want you, our passengers, to do your part as well. Air Gerelia staff do their best to get people more involved in the community. One of the main things the community do is donate some of their money to the AG Charity which helps children who are drinking dirty water, homeless, getting abused etc. Not only that but we also donate to countries that are in war. We set up this charity in 2008 and it has been a huge success. We saved over 456 million people. We would really appreciate if you donated only $3 a month to help save these people. 1947–1960: Air Gerelia as Operating Company
In the late 1940s Peter McLester, a British pilot and entrepreneur, began an air taxi service to Raedburg, Zitru and Durka Mardox from Orlando International Airport. Peter later expanded service and on 25 May 1950 and registered Gerelia Aviation Company Limited as a private shareholding company. This makes its current operating company, Air Gerelia, one of the oldest carriers in the Zuropean Union. The early fleet contained seven Avro Ansons and three De Havilland DH.86B 4-engine biplanes. In December 1951, Gerelia Overseas Airways(GOA) became a major shareholder in Gerelia Aviation, holding a 20% stake through the GOA subsidiary company GOA Associated Companies.
1960's: Full National Ownership
In 1960 the governments of the United States of Gerelia agreed to buy the GOA Associated Companies holding in Gerelian Aviation. The Foundation Treaty was signed on 30th July 1963 and gave each government a 25% shareholding in Gerelian Aviation, which became a holding company. The operating company was now branded as Air Gerelia and became the flag carrier for Gerelia. With 4 Lockheed L-1011 Tristar's and 12 Boeing 737's series aircraft joining the fleet, by 1966 Air Gerelia had expanded its route network to include Mologan, Cansterham, Drenthia, Londas, Scandonbay, Randyek, Helmendar, Morroca, Veraini, New Gohdan, Srinadad, Mansterjoveski,Haraca and Seniano. The fleet comprised 4 Vickers VC10, 6 Lockheed L-1011 Tristar 200s and 12 Boeing 737–200s. In 1969, the airline doubled the Tristar fleet by replacing the VC10s. Meanwhile, the airline increased the Boeing 737 fleet to 14.
1970s–1982: Expansion
The 1970s saw an increase in air travel and growth for Air Gerelia. In 1971 Air Gerelia became an IATA member and in the following year became the first international airline to land at Srinadad International Airport. In 1975, Air Gerelia, the national startup and the old national carrier of Gerelia began operating, which would later become a major partner of Air Gerelia. In 1979 the Boeing 767's joined the fleet and the airline launched service to all major routes at the time.
Air Gerelia celebrated its 30th anniversary in 1979. The grey and red uniform was introduced. Air Gerelia added service to Rendonvael and Merlinville in 1982, becoming the first Gerelian airline to fly directly to these cities. In 1983, it opened up a flight simulator centre in Orlando which turned out to be a huge success to a lot of pilots and even the community liked the idea.
1983–2005: New livery & destinations
In May 1984, Air Gurelia received its first Airbus A340-400. Air Gerelia introduced a no-smoking policy on all flights in 1988, which the airline later extended through its whole network. The Air Gerelia website opened in July 1997.
In 1999 the airline celebrated its 50th anniversary. It took delivery of 2 Airbus A330-200 aircraft in June and launched service to Markville. In March 2002, Bob Hareley became President and CEO of Air Gerelia and instigated a three-year restructuring and turnaround programme, which was launched in response to a drastic fall in profits at the company and increasing debt. The Air Gerelia board unanimously approved the three-year recovery plan at the extraordinary general meeting held on 18 September. In 2003 Air Gerelia introduced a new Arkvale Associates designed livery. Air Gerelia also announced a sponsorship deal for the Orlando Grand Prix through 2010, creating the Air Gerelia Grand Prix, of which the first was staged in 2004. Air Gerelia also introduced daily flights to Porta and Papayo via Mologan on 1 November 2003. In 2004,Air Gerelia introduced direct flights between Orlando and Bergarek and carried a record 12.3 million passengers during this year. Air Gerelia's sponsorship of the Orlando Formula 1 Grand Prix continued, with a record race crowd and a global TV audience. The airline announced a return to profit, with the best financial performance since 1999.
2006–2008: Good Years
The airline produced a series of adverts in local newspapers thanking Orlando and many other airports for its contribution to Air Gerelia. Air Gerelia endeavoured to show the continuing support for flights to San Valken from other regional airports, connecting to the rest of the Air Gerelia network, via advertisements placed in local newspapers. Ryan Emerik resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer and as of 2 August 2007 Marco Nasan has since taken the position of CEO. This has led to some employees applying for jobs at Air Gerelia and, in less than a month, Air Gerelia received over 700 employees from its workforce, promoting the airline to 'Best Gerelian Airline'.
2009-Present: From Good to Great
Lennon Ovaldo became the CEO in 2009 and is currently one of the richest people in Gerelia. Air Gerelia has changed quite a lot since 1949, with new leather seats and new TVs which include over 1000 channels, Air Gerelia has never been more luxurious. Air Gerelia was the official airline partner of the 2013 Orlando Olympic Games. In 2013 an average of 148.5 million people flew with Air Gerelia. Air Gerelia is the largest airline based in the United States of Gerelia in terms of fleet size, international flights, and international destinations and is also the largest airline by passenger numbers as well. Baggage and Cargo
Every day, Air Gerelia carefully carries thousands of bags safely to many destinations from all over the world. Most of the time your bag will arrive in perfect condition and it is not often a bag gets damaged or goes missing for that matter. If something does happen to your bag our staff will do their very best to resolve the problem. We are not held responsible for any damaged belongings. Air Gerelia allows passengers to pay for extra weight on your main luggage and your carry on. Your carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin. Passengers may bring a brief case or smaller luggage that can fit under the seat but that will also have to go through security. Air Gerelia does not allow any alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, lighters, cans, weapons, metal or sharp objects to be carried on board the aircraft. Air Gerelia allows each passenger the maximum of 100 ml of liquids. If you need to carry on medicine, tablets or inhalers for medical reasons only, contact your nearest Air Gerelia staff member or go to Customer Support and give them a permission form that is signed from your doctor and we will then let you have it on board. If you are unaware of this form please ask your doctor to give you one and he/she will know what you are talking about. If your bag has gone missing then please contact our help number now and we will do our best to track it down.
Ticket Purchase
After a passenger purchases a ticket whether it is an electronic ticket, paper ticket or booked from an Air Gerelia travel agent it is possible to receive a refund as long as it is ten days before the flight is planned to leave. Air Gerelia will also refund your ticket if the flight is cancelled due to weather conditions, the safety of the aircraft, terrorism or if an airport is closed. You may also be able to get a 50% refund due to delays. If you have any trouble with purchasing a ticket then please don't hesitate to contact Air Gerelia Customer Support.
Departure and Arrival
Air Gerelia advises all passengers to be at the gate of departure on time. Air Gerelia will not wait on any late passengers and if a passenger(s) is late then the ticket(s) will not be refunded. Passengers who were late may buy another ticket though. If any passengers are on the influence of drugs or high levels of alcohol will not be allowed to board their flight. If there is any problems then please contact Air Gerelia Customer Support.
Safety
Safety is by far one of the main concerns at any airline especially us. That is why our safety record is perfect. We have had now crashes but only a few emergency landings. At Air Gerelia the safety and security of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Air Gerelia has a reputation of being one of the safest airlines in the world. Some of the reasons why Air Gerelia is known as one of the safest world is because we have CCTV on board the aircraft in the cockpit and in the cabin. The cockpit door is bullet-proof on every aircraft in all of Air Gerelia's fleet. All aircraft receive a search before take off to make sure that there is no failure with the aircraft. Air Gerelia also provides security training for all on board staff and airport staff. Air Gerelia will not fly to any airports which are dangerous.. Please make sure your airport has regular checks, trained staff, x-ray screening for baggage and security controls for cargo, courier material, mail and catering.
Travelling With Children
If you are pregnant then you must have a doctors permission to fly. When checking in please show a member of staff the health certificate that a doctor should provide. Travelling is not allowed within two weeks before delivery date. If travel within these two weeks is absolutely necessary then a clearance will need to be provided. Travelling is not recommended within 30 days before the date due. You will be able to take all medication on board but you will need permission from a doctor. Infants (two years old or under) may sit on an adults lap but you may be charged up to $75 per infant. We recommend you buy a seat for an infant for safety reasons. You can only have one infant per adult for lap seating. To do this all you need to do is send a email or phone us. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us immediately. If you need to change a babies diaper then please go to our baby changing cubicle on board. There is at least one of these on each aircraft. Parents are advised to bring all supplies needed on board. Air Gerelia staff can heat baby bottles on board. We give children a kids pack which has an activity book, colouring pens/pencils and a small toy plane. Baggage allowances are the exact same for children. You may take up to one stroller per adult at no extra charge. You can travel at any age on Air Gerelia but we advise not to bring children who are under 5 weeks on board. Air Gerelia can provide children with a safety seat.

On-board Crew
Air Gerelia's cabin crew are very friendly and have received a lot of training. Air Gerelia only employs the highest quality of cabin crew. Our on board staff are always prepared to answer any questions you may have. They will also serve you drinks and snacks which have been prepared by our on board chefs. Air Gerelia's cabin crew love to have a chat and a joke when around passengers so don't be afraid to say a simple "hello". If the pilots have to make a crash landing then the cabin crew will be on high alert. As you know safety is Air Gerelia's main priority so we have new slides that can be turned into a raft and the raft will have a small box with flares and some food so it is possible to survive. Every raft must have a member of staff and every passenger will have a life vest. You will be able to recognise our cabin crew because of their bright red dresses, grey leggings and bright red high heels and for the men a red shirt with a grey tie, grey waist coat, grey trousers and smart grey shoes.
Cuisine
Air Gerelia has it's very own on board chef who cooks and prepares the meals for all passengers on board. All food comes under the price of your ticket so there is no need to worry about any extra cost. Snacks and Drinks will be provided be the cabin crew. Some of our on board snacks are nuts, chocolate, sweets, crisps and fruit. Air Gerelia also has quite a range of drinks such as Coca Cola, Sun Kist, Pepsi, Lemonade, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Water, Milk, Beer and Wine.
In-Flight Entertainment
Air Gerelia has spent a lot of time on our entertainment for passengers. Our program is the Luxury Life. Basically the Luxury Life is the name our magazines and our entertainment system. All t.v's on-board are from Ultimate. Ultimate is one of the biggest technology companies in Gerelia. Enjoy the latest and greatest movies from around the world on-board all Air Gerelia flights. Not only that but you can enjoy games, music and audio books. You also get all of your favourite programs. In the Luxury Life magazine, you get all of the latest news and gossip.
Check In
Check In with Air Gerelia is always easy. Our new Check In desks are red with "Air Gerelia" on the front in grey. When you are at the Check In desks, you will be asked what flight you are scheduled for, for a passport/visa. You will receive a tag that you will put on your carry-on luggage and a staff member will put a tag on your other baggage. You will need to give your pass port when checking in for identification reasons. Once you have done all of these steps, you will receive a boarding pass. If you already have a boarding pass then you will have to show the staff member who is working at the desk. There is usually not a long wait to check in but in the holiday seasons, it can be a struggle. At the Check In, look for the "Self Check In" section. Our Lounges
Air Gerelia's lounges are all kept very clean. There is a lounge for the Superior Club members and there is another lounge for any other passengers. All of our lounges have free WiFi that require no password. Air Gerelia staff members will serve alcohol fr the adults and soft drinks/fruit juices for the children. In all of the lounges there is a four star restaurant, a bar, a relaxation lounge and a few 50" T.V's. In the Superior Lounge's there is also a 5 star restaurant, cook you own food parlour and a first class spa.
Head Office
Air Gerelia's Head Office is located beside the Palaou Beach and Palaou International Airport. Next to the Head Office is Gerelia's University of Aviation(GUA). In Gerelia's University of Aviation, pilots, cabin crew, engineers and any other staff that want to work at Air Gerelia train. In the Head Office, letters are received, phone calls are made and staff meetings are held.
Star Alliance
Air Gerelia is a new member of the Star Alliance. The Star Alliance was founded in 1997 by five airline companies, Destiny Airlines, Kutch Airways, Fly Imyahistan, Lufthansa Avantia and Air Muten. Air Gerelia is proud to be a member of the Star Alliance as it is one of the best airline alliances in the world. The Star Alliance holds many luxurious airline companies.
Our Chief Executive Officer
Lennon Ovaldo was born 18th August, 1978. He grew up in a small village called Cranfer in the state of Kalsburn. His father, Harry Ovaldo was a manager for the computing company Adfer. As a child, Lennon was very keen in aviation and his dream was to be a pilot but unfortunately when he was sixteen, he changed his mind. Instead he wanted to own an airline company and earn millions. At the age of 31, he noticed that Ryan Emerik had resigned so he thought that was his opportunity to own the company. He then bought the company and that is how he became the CEO.
Our Motto
Our official motto is "An Adventure Is Upon You". The meaning behind this is that Air Gerelia is always searching for new destinations for you to explore. We also believe that all passengers will have an adventure and see different countries and cultures.
