History
Polaris Airlines:
What became Ceniana started out in 1926, when Polaris Airways was founded by a Turkish entrepreneur and pilot by the name of Taksim Berliz al-Ahmedsultani. Naming his airline after the star that had guided explorers and navigators for centuries, he started out on the Istanbul-Ankara route with one of the first Ford Trimotors ever produced. At that time, Turkey had become independent from the Ottoman Empire and was looking to modernize in every way possible. The air service to the town of Ankara, where al-Ahmedsultani had been born, helped the government to decide to make Ankara the capital of Turkey. With this move, traffic increased exponentially, and he was forced to add new planes to his service. He soon added an Istanbul-Izmir and an Ankara-Izmir route. By 1928, Polaris was profitable and the largest airline in Turkey. It continued expanding in Turkish routes until 1933, when an Islamist revolution took over Turkey. He thought his troubles were just beginning as the government banned domestic air travel, and he was right. Extremists hijacked flight 123 to Athens. Unfortunately, everyone on board was killed. This would have spelled the end for smaller airlines, but al-Ahmedsultani persevered this disaster. He was able to begin services again when the military took over operations of the government, but soon faced domestic and international competition from the state owned Turkiye. Price wars between the two gutted his profits, but overall traffic picked up. He decided to carve a niche for himself in international traffic. After this move, his profits began to expand again as Turkiye could not keep up with his acquisition of newer and newer planes. He became one of the first customers of the Boeing 707 when it came out in 1958, and Polaris held a stranglehold on the Turkish international market until 1966, when newer competitors brought out lower fares. He retaliated with purchase of several Boeing 747s, trumpeting a new age in aerial transportation. Revenue and passengers swelled with these new acquisitions. He continued to offer new services, including a frequent flier program in 1968, until his retirement in 1969. His son, Legrim Bergiz, continued the family business, managing to outcompete most other Turkish airlines until his retirement in 2000, and al-Ahmedsultan's granddaughter, Leyla Taksim, took over operations.
North Star Airways:
Leyla was a shrewd fellow. She realized that there would be more profits if the airline concentrated on all NS nations, rather than just nations around her. To maximize the appeal of the airline, she renamed it North Star Airways. It became a success, reaching dozens of destinations, and making profits in the crowded airline market. When Cenian explorers annexed the Bosporus in 2011 and began building a starport, she saw opportunity in the face of this new threat. She made Cenians a deal: in return for you giving me several terminals in the starport, I will let you have a percentage of the profits. They agreed, and Leyla now had a modern, clean home base, rather than the decades-old Ataturk International Airport. GCLI, the government owned investing corporation, purchased part of North Star with the profits and installed Olmas Epia as the CEO. Under Epia, it kept on expanding.
Ceniana:
Epia had a dilemma. Ceni didn't have a flag carrier to represent it in the international market, and other flag carriers were doing great. He had a solution: rebrand North Star as Ceniana, with a new slogan: Your connection to the world. Ceniana is now opening its doors to airports and customers.
At the Airport
Check In & Gates
We want you to have a seamless experience before boarding your flight. Long-range check in opens four hours before the start of your flight, regional check-in three hours before the start of your flight, and domestic check-in three hours before the start of your flight. To check in, all you need to do is scan your eye in to our advanced retinal scanners. The scanner will match your retinal pattern with an entry in our state-of-the-art computer system, which knows your ticket # and other information. If you are on an international flight, scan your passport next. You may print out paper boarding passes if you are uncomfortable with our retinal scanners or security does not have retinal scanners, or print them out at your home or hotel. Then the kiosk will ask you if you or your party will like to check any bags. If you do not, press proceed and you may proceed to security. If you do, our friendly personnel will be happy to help you weigh and tag your baggage or help with any kiosk problems. Once you check in, proceed to security and to our gates. Free WiFi, television, magazines, and drinks make the wait for your plane less hard. Our comfortable seats also help make your wait easier. If you have any questions, each gate is staffed with two Ceniana employees, who will be happy to assist you with any needs you might have. At boarding time, simply scan your eye in one of the several retinal scanners located at the gate. With the information encoded in our database, the personnel will know that you have purchased a ticket. Or scan your paper boarding pass, which does the same thing.

Our FleetPanterra P212
Our 45 Panterra P212-100s are for medium range flights, both domestic, regional, and international. The aircraft's main feature is the lack of a tail. The aft mounted engines also make for a safer flight, reducing the chances that an aircraft will explode on water or land crash landings. The P212 features new, modern-sculpted sidewalls and appealing features reveals that draw passenger eyes to the airplane's windows, giving passengers a greater connection to the flying experience. The aircraft's interior is also designed to maximize comfort through the flight. Each plane carries 264 people.Panterra P222
Our 105 Panterra P222-100s are some of the most fuel efficient planes on the market. Being a hybrid of our hydrogen fuel cell technologies and ethanol gas to power it, this turboprop would draw energy from the gas and the fuel cells during takeoff and will later switch to all-fuel cell power during flight. The P212 features new, modern-sculpted sidewalls and appealing features reveals that draw passenger eyes to the airplane's windows, giving passengers a greater connection to the flying experience. The aircraft's interior is also designed to maximize comfort through the flight. These aircraft are used for short-range domestic, regional, and international flights. Each plane carries 188 people.Panterra P232
Ceniana has 75 Panterra P232-100s and 35 Panterra P232-200s. This aircraft sports a delta wing and canard wing arrangement for a more fuel-efficient approach. Designed for point-to-point transport, the SkW 300f has a long range. Because it doesn't travel at the speed of sound, it doesn't create the sonic boom that would accompany such supersonic travel. The Panterra P232-100s have a capacity of 503 people and the P232-200s have a capacity of 553 passengers. These are long-range airplanes, used for popular, long-range flights.Panterra P252
Ceniana possesses 15 Panterra P252-100s. This hypersonic plane's main feature is, well, its speed. Its top speed is a whopping Mach 6.5, which allows it to go from Singapore to New York City in just over 136 minutes, or from New York to London in 50 minutes. This high speed allows our passengers not to worry about how long their flight is. In just under an hour, they'll be there! This aircraft is used for long-distance flights.Panterra P262
Our 20 P262-100s have a twin-bubble design that isolates two cabins from each other, increasing fuel efficiency at such high speeds and providing increased safety. The plane has a speed of Mach 7.5. This high speed allows our passengers not to worry about how long their flight is.The P262 is used for long-range, popular routes. Each plane carries between 513 and 589 passengers.Radiomatics Moorburgh RMA1000
