Cattedralo di Santa Regina
Cathedral of Saint Regine

1 Piazzo di Santa Regina, Cito Tanda, Vilòstresa EU002

This medieval church is Piscinadoro’s church until it became the capital. This historic church is where King Adam III of Brutland and Queen Adrienne of Norden were married on September 7, 1759, and were crowned as monarchs of the new United Kingdom two years later. The Cathedral celebrates the marriage and union every Union Day (7 September), which is also the feast day of its patron saint, Saint Regine.

The Cathedral is open to worshippers and visitors 24/7, though proper decorum must be observed at all times.
The Cathedral of Saint Regine is served by Metro Station Santa Regina (Red/Orange Line), Bus Stop #3, and Streetcar Station Santa Regina. Cars (except public buses) are prohibited in the inner zone of Cito Tanda every Sunday and on special holidays, 0400h-2200h.

1000 Corso Brutellia, Santa Carolina, Vilòstresa EU018

Originally built as a villa for the Nord-Brutlandese monarchs, La Castione has been expanded into a castle atop a knoll overlooking the Santa Carolina River. Unknown to many, this is the place where the monarchs of Brutland and Norden live; the Royal Palace is the seat of the monarchy and the place where the King works. As such, security is stricter than at the Royal Palace. Only the Royal Riverside Museum is open to the public, however, special petitions can be sent to the Royal Palace to request for tours.

Royal Riverside Museum is open Mondays to Fridays, 1000h-1500h
The Royal Palace is served by Metro Station Strito (Blue/Red line) and Bus Stop #38.

Established in 1870 by King Kyle the Fair and Queen Catherine, the Royal Botanic Gardens houses a big collection of plants from all over the world in its 154 pavilions and greenhouses. Aside from being a botanist’s delight, the gardens also have a variety of educational and recreational activities and facilities. The Varce Supàrba (Treetop Walkway) is an elevated covered path which can take visitors around the gardens, amongst the canopy. Once a month there are workshops dedicated to growing plants, and there is a Laboratore di Perfume (Perfume Laboratory) where visitors get to make their own perfume out of flowers.

Image
Cancello di la Sole
Gate of the Sun

Piazza di Cancello di la Sole, Settra, Vilòstresa EU001

Originally a gate in old Piscinadoro’s walls, the Gate of the Sun had been modified and glorified. Corso Norden (Norden Avenue) used to pass through the gate, but the thoroughfare had been wound around the Gate of the Sun instead as a roundabout. Thus, the Gate of the Sun is now considered a public park. There are weekly free concerts in the park, and the annual Kingsville Rock Festival is being held here every July.

The Gate of the Sun is served by Metro Station Cancello di Sole (Gray Line), Tram Stations Opera and Corteso Genera, and Bus Stops #20 and #21.

Image
Opere Reala Nordèbrutelliense
Royal Nord-Brutlandese Opera

125 Piazzo di Cancello di la Sole, Settra, Vilòstresa EU001

Adjacent to the Gate of the Sun is Brutland and Norden’s Royal Opera House, where prestigious and famous plays and musicals are being shown. There are shows every Monday to Saturday usually starting from 1500h-0200h. Tickets and schedules can be accessed via the website http://www.operereala.gob.nem/. Occasionally, the opera house holds a King’s Day, where all the shows are free and open to the public, courtesy of the monarch, the main patron of the establishment.

The Royal Nord-Brutlandese Opera also has a semi-formal dress code; visitors and patrons are expected to dress accordingly.
The Royal Nord-Brutlandese Opera is served by Metro Station Cancello di Sole (Gray Line), Tram Station Opera, and Bus Stop #21.

Image
Ossorio di Cedrasco
Ossuary of Cedrasco

Chierco di San Kail, 1 Piazzo di Cedrasco, Valbuona, Vilòstresa EU017

The hamlet of Cedrasco sits on a small potrero (plateau) wedged between the Santa Carolina River and the Biancafiore Ridge. Thus, when space became scarce at the hamlet’s small cemetery, the bones at the cemetery were placed in the vaults, basement, and underneath the Church of Saint Kyle. A local sculptor was hired to arrange the pile of bones; but instead of stacking them neatly, he transformed them into macabre sculptures and works of art.

The Ossuary of Cedrasco is open to visitors Mondays to Fridays, 0900h-1630h.
The Ossuary of Cedrasco is served by the Metro Station Cedrasco (Red Line), and Bus Stop #88.

Image
Biancafiore del Monte
The hamlet of Biancafiore del Monte is built into the mountain at the head of the Biancafiore Ridge, above the hamlet of Monterone. This medieval town used to be a fort, but its defensive purpose gradually gave way to it being a place to live.

The hamlet is served by Metro Station Monterone and Bus Stop #145, though it takes a one-kilometer hike from the bus station to the hamlet’s entrance, and a five-kilometer hike from the subway station.

Image
Reinzòpendecca
The Hanging Hamlet

Located near the head of the Vanadium Valley, the hamlet of Reinzòpendecca is built on top of a nearly isolated hill around which the Vanadium River makes a 325-degree bend. Since the land area available for the town is limited, the inhabitants built tall houses, perilously perched at the edge of the gorge.

The hamlet is served by Metro Station Reinzòpendecca (Purple Line), and Bus Stop #89, which are both located outside the hamlet. The hamlet is accessible from these stations via the stone arch Devil’s Bridge (Ponto di Diavolo) over the Vanadium River. The hamlet is also reachable by car from the Santa Monica neighborhood via the Devil’s Road (Viale di Diavolo); though cars are not permitted inside the hamlet.

Image
L’Abordammino
Boardwalk

The Boardwalk was a seaside promenade built by the then-booming village of Sant’Garzana in 1894. The Boardwalk was at that time the commercial, tourist, and recreation center of the village. The Boardwalk was partially destroyed in the storms of September 1914, and was removed when the Corso Alessandrina (Alessandria Avenue) was extended into the village following its path. However, the City of Kingsville sought to build a replacement, an esplanade, in 1945. Its old name, the Boardwalk, still stuck to the new esplanade.

Today the esplanade, and the Coral Beach, is again the commercial, tourist, and recreation center of the district of Sant’Garzana, home to Kingsville’s embassy district. Located along the esplanade are the historic Astria Hotel, the Fisherman’s Museum, the embassies of Van Luxemburg and Candelaria And Marquez, the famous Ristorante di Riceze di la Mare (Wealth of the Sea Restaurant), and various shops and restaurants.

The Boardwalk is served by Metro Station L’Abordammino (Purple Line) and Bus Stops #500, #501, and #502.

Beaches

Kingsville, due to its position in an island, has many long beaches. Among the most popular beaches are Strando Delfino (Dolphin Beach), located in Cito Tanda, Strando Corralu (Coral Beach) in Sant’Garzana, Strando Tordòlucho (Lighthouse Beach) in Cito Nuova, and Strando Bianca (White Beach) in Pisciettu. Of the four, White Beach is the longest public beach in the city. People going to Kingsville’s public beaches are encouraged to dress appropriately; the city’s beaches are neither naturalist beaches nor clothing-optional.

Dolphin Beach can be reached via Metro Station Strando (Red/Orange Line), Streetcar Station Palazzo Tibaldi, and Bus Stop #9.
Lighthouse Beach can be reached via Metro Station Tordòlucho (Red Line), Streetcar Station Giusallo Bianca, and Bus Station #29.
White Beach can be reached via Metro Stations Fanale, Olivo, Montascoli, and Sorgentone (Yellow Line), and Bus Stations #55, 56, and 84.

Image
Corso Unnone
Union Avenue

Union Avenue is home to high-end and chic boutiques, restaurants and establishments. It is arguably the most-valued street in the city and indeed in the whole Brutland and Norden. The boutiques are concentrated from Viale Trascara to Viale Trazio; while the restaurants are located mostly from Viale Santa Regina to Viale Trazio.

The relevant sections of Union Avenue are served by Metro Stations Starduque Reala (Orange Line), Unnone (Orange/Blue Lines), Trascara (Orange Line), and Strando (Orange/Red Lines), and Bus Stops #9, #10, and #11.

La Striscio
The Strip

This is the informal term for the center of Kingsville’s nightlife, with bars, nightclubs, cafes, and restaurants. It consists of a ten-block area stretching from the neighborhood of Carazzo in borough of Tarrantasca, to the neighbourhood of Tordòlucho in borough of Cito Nuova. It follows the Viale Tarrantasca (Tarrantasca Avenue), from the Strando Tordòlucho (Lighthouse Beach)/Viade Santa Regina (Saint Regine’s Road) to Strade Bacco (Bacco Street).

The Strip is served by Metro Stations Tordòlucho (Red Line), Settro Convegno (Blue Line), La Bianca (Blue Line), and Carazzo (Green Line); and by Bus Stops #56, #69, and #80.

Events and Festivities
Kingsville also hosts a lot of events all year round. Indeed, most of the city’s boroughs and a majority of its neighborhoods hold a feste (feast) on a certain date each year. Aside from those, there are more events all year round which you can join in!

Here’s the usual Kingsville calendar of events. Note that this is an incomplete list, the most prominent ones are listed here. The ones with erratic dates (such as the Kingsville Book Fair and the Kingsville Comic Convention), are left out. Just check on our website for details on these annual events.
  • January 17: Feste Internaziona (International Festival) – the borough of Sant’Garzana, home to Kingsville’s diplomatic district, hosts a fair showcasing what the rest of the world has to offer. The event includes a free beachfront concert showcasing singers and bands from different countries. The feast is done in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the various diplomatic missions in Brutland and Norden. The Boardwalk and the Coral Beach, along with the Sant’Garzana’s main square, are the primary venues for this event.
  • January 20: Feste di San Sebastian (Feast of Saint Sebastian) - The parish of Tarrantasca holds a religious feste on this day to honor its patron saint, Saint Sebastian. Recently, under the past two Socialist borough administrations, the borough of Tarrantasca, in cooperation with various LGBT groups, also stage a Gay Pride feste on this date. The center of the borough is a known “pink district”. Interestingly, Saint Sebastian is held by some as the patron saint of homosexuals.

  • February 7: Feste di San Geraldo (Feast of Saint Gerald) – this feste is held in L’Iorgàcqua to honor its patron saint. It is famous for its fruit festival.
  • February 10: Dío di Fondazione (Foudnation Day) – this secular feste of the borough of Cito Nuova celebrate its founding by King Kyle the Fair on February 10, 1875. Like any other feste, there are parades and fairs, but the hallmark of this day is the art contest (Arte per la Dío, Art for the Day), in which the public is invited to create/construct a work of art within the day. The winning masterpiece will be included and exhibited in the Royal Museum of Art, located in the borough.
  • Last Sunday of February: Feste di San Trinitario (Feast of the Holy Trinity) – held in the borough of Providenza (Providence), this formerly religious holiday has now become a secular holiday, with most shops and establishments of Providenza giving out discounts on this day.

  • Second Week of March: Festive di Cienze di Vilòstresa (Kingsville Science festival) – Learn while having fun in Kingsville’s Science Festival. The various educational resources of the capital hold a wide variety of activities and demonstrations for everyone to learn. The Science Festival is held in cooperation with the Academie Nordèbrutelliense Reala di Cienzi (Royal Nord-Brutlandese Academy of Sciences), the Federe d’Academii Cienzellía Reala di Norden e Marchòbrutellia (Federation of Royal Scientific Academies of Brutland and Norden), the Osservatorio Reala (Royal Observatory), Universitade Reala di Norden e Marchòbrutellia al Vilòstresa (Royal University of Brutland and Norden at Kingsville), Stiutti Reala per la Ricerche Avanza (Royal Institute for Advanced Research), Museo di Spazio (Space Museum), Museo Reala Nordèbrutelliense (Royal Nord-Brutlandese Museum), Giardino Botanicà Reala (Royal Botanic Gardens), Agenzie Nordèbrutelliense Reala per la Spoliore di Spazio (Royal Nord-Brutlandese Space Agency), and the federal Finisterre di Cienze e Tecchinio (Ministry of Science and Technology).

  • Holy Week (Date depends): Semane Santa (Holy Week) – Holy Week celebrations in strongly Catholic Brutland and Norden vary between communities. The most famous celebration in Kingsville occur in the borough of Gianicolina, the district that consists of several disparate, sometimes isolated, communities in the hills and mountains above Kingsville city proper. The Stazioni di la Croce (Stations of the Cross) is a pilgrimage devotees undertake: each station of the cross is located in the fourteen neighbourhoods/communities of Gianicolina (Malenco, San Gerardo, Santa Cristina, Croscesso, Pedòllino di Monterone, Carrascale Osta, Carrascale Esta, Brotto, San Lazzaro, Ducotto di Padania, San Daniele, Pietrabianca, Monterone, Biancafiore del Monte). On Good Friday there is a re-enactment of the Crucifixion in Biancafiore del Monte. On Easter Sunday, there is a grand Easter parade through the borough, starting from a cave known as Grotto dei Miracolo.
  • April 14: Feste di San Briano (Feast of Saint Brian) – the former hamlet of San Briano celebrates his feast day on this date. This feste is famous for its dancing parade.

  • May 1: Dío d’Obrettu (Worker’s Day) – the secular celebrations of the working-class borough of Citograbba include a job fair and a march to the Nord-Brutlandese Government Palace.
  • May 30: Dío d'Amalgamazie (Amalgamation Day) - on this date, Kingsville celebrates its formation through the fusion of the different communities in the area. This is heralded by a day-long parade through the entire city.

  • First Week of June: Carnivale di Nieve (Winter Carnival) – in Brutland and Norden, located at the Southern Hemisphere, the snow does indeed come in June. But that doesn’t excuse us from holding a Winter Carnival. Frolic in the snow and have fun at Kingsville’s annual week-long Winter Carnival.
  • June 17: Dío di l’Iru (Heroes’ Day) – this is a local celebration in Kingsville, especially in the borough of Campòllina. It commemorates the six young men and women who lost their lives in the Gardotardo di Montitano (Watchtower of Montitano) on June 17, 1318. The six, who hail from the villages of Montitano and La Castione, were incidentally at the lookout point when the invading Cantabrican army appeared, heading towards the village of Montitano. They sounded the alarms, alerted the townspeople, and tried heroically to stop the advance of the Cantabrican army. This early warning made preparations possible and their fight delayed the army’s arrival until reinforcements from other villages came. This contributed much in the Barrenechean win at the Battle of Montitano (June 18-19, 1318), which stopped the invasion of western Union Island. Today, Heroes’ Day is celebrated with a military parade and a re-enactment of the Battle of Montitano.

  • July 4: Feste di La Pascu – celebrated on the borough of La Pascu, on the feast day of Saint Ulrich. Famous for its barbecued cheese contest.
  • July 9: Feste di Nostro Simore di Paze (Feast of Our Lady of Peace) – celebrated in the borough of Cumunoíe, this event includes the grandest parade of the year in Kingville.
  • Last Week of July: Kingsville Festive di Rock (Kingsville Rock Festival) – usually held at the Cancello di la Sole, the KFR showcases bands and singers from the lively Nord-Brutlandese rock scene. The King, a known fan of rock music, is a frequent guest of the event
.

  • August 11: Feste di Santa Susana (Feast of Saint Susanna) – the mountain hamlet of Santa Susana holds its feste honoring its patron saint. This is the most religious of the feasts in the Kingsville area, as Saint Susanna has her devotees who attest that requests and prayers are granted through her intercession. Many devout Nord-Brutlandese flock to the small parish church of Santa Susana to pray on this day.
  • August 27: Feste di Santa Monica (Feast of Saint Monica) – the neighborhood of Santa Monica celebrates the feast day of their patron saint. This feast is particularly remarkable as they parish and the community set up the Settro di Crisi (Crisis Center) where people can get advise on their marriage and on their children.

  • September 7: Dío Unnone (Union Day) – is one of Brutland and Norden’s biggest holidays, which celebrates the Union of the Kingdom of Brutland and the Queendom of Norden. Kingsville, like the entire country, holds big celebrations, a military parade, street fairs, and others.
  • September 9: Dío di Cedrasco (Cedrasco Day) – the small hamlet of Cedrasco, known for its Ossuary, holds its feste on this date, the Feast Day of Saint Kyle, the patron saint of athletes and young men in particular. As such, the town is renowned for holding odd sporting events on this day, including chasing a roll of Cedrasco cheese down the somewhat steep Ollino di San Kail (Saint Kyle’s Hill), throwing an egg back and forth across the Santa Carolina River without breaking it, volleyball on trampolines, the unique Cedrasco football (which combines elements of baseball and football), and pig racing.
  • September 11: Díe Rinna (King's Day) – this is the day when Brutland and Norden celebrates the King’s birthday. It is a public holiday in Brutland and Norden, marked by parades, fairs, and festivities.
  • September 15: Feste di Nostro Simore di la Scorri (Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows) – is celebrated in the borough of Alessandria.
  • September 17: Feste di San Lamberto (Feast of Saint Lambert) – on the heels of Brutland and Norden’s two most important civil holidays, the borough of San Lamberto holds its religious holiday, the feast of its patron saint. People join a procession, called Sfilate di Carite, through the borough and collect donations to be given to the needy, both in Brutland and Norden and overseas. It is also traditionally a day of gift-giving for the citizens of San Lamberto.

  • October 11: Feste di San Canico (Feast of Saint Kenny) – the borough of San Canico stages a day-long street play for its patron saint, Saint Kenny. Aside from the famous Teatre di San Canico, there is always a grand fireworks display at night.
  • October 20: Feste di Sant’Iria (Feast of Saint Irene) – held in the hamlet of Sant’Iria di la Ternato, this feste is famous for its communal barbecue.

  • First Week of November: Ferio Vilòstrense (Kingsville Fair) – for one entire week, the Kingsville fairgrounds is the place to be! The Fair showcases what Kingsville has to offer, of course with entertainment!

  • November 30: Feste di San Andrea (Feast of Saint Andrew) – the borough of Pisciettu, formerly a village of fishermen, celebrates its patron saint on this day with a High Mass and a fair showcasing the riches of the sea: a cooking fair specializing in seafood dishes, a fishing contest, and a parade.

  • December 6: Feste di La Banchine – the seaside borough of La Banchine, where Kingsville’s port is, holds a feast honouring Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of seafarers. Amongst the festivities on this day include boat racing, a yacht parade, and cookoffs featuring the riches of the sea.
  • December 23: Feste di Santo Thorizio (feast of Saint Thorlack) – the borough of Santo Thorizio, they say, has three days of Christmas, as two days before December 25, they celebrate the feast day of their patron saint.
  • Last Week of December: Festive Vilòstrense di Plicoli (Kingsville Film Festival) - end the year with a star-studded week, with movies and the awarding of the most prestigious recognition in Nord-Brutlandese cinema! This is an appropriate time for people to watch excellent quality movies, not only from Brutland and Norden, but also abroad.

The Padania River Parade is the largest, longest and grandest parade in Brutland and Norden!

The parade is a grand procession of water floats down the whole Padania River, from its high icy mountain source, to its mouth at the Blue Sea. The parade traverses the two thousand kilometer length of Brutland and Norden's longest river, passing though eleven grants and more than a hundred communities, within one month of celebration. Along the way, riverside and lakeside communities hold their own varied and exciting events in which visitors and spectators will surely enjoy. Tourist Guide
Location
The Padania River Parade will be held in central and southern Brutland, one of the main provinces of Brutland and Norden. The parade starts at Capotacqua d'Padania, where the Padania glacier melts to form an appreciable stream high up in the mountains of the grant of Montesa. It starts on November 23, 2009, at 9 am with the opening ceremonies.

The first leg/week of the parade covers the upper Padania valley, in the grants of Montesa and Valtistrada. The second leg/week covers the parade's journey through Lake Brutland, the country's biggest lake. Many lakeside communities will be holding their own events in conjunction with the parade. The third leg/week covers the middle Padania valley, from its emergence from Lake Brutland to its confluence with the Tagliamento River at Brione. the fourth leg/week covers the lower Padania Valley. The parade ends on December 20, 2009, at 10 PM, with the closing ceremonies at Pieroboscia, at the mouth of the river.

Transportation
Though Brutland has an excellent public transport system, it may be wise to have your own car or rental car. This is recommended for those who want to move in between events, to follow the parade, or to make a side trips along the way. It is also encouraged for those who are unfamiliar with the transportation system and our road network (map of Brutland and Norden).

Anyone with a valid international driver's lciense or its equivalent can legally drive in Nord-Brutlandese roads, provided they have familiarized themselves with Nord-Brutlandese traffic rules. Traffic in Brutland and Norden drives on the right.

Dear Madam,

According to our sources, VLT automobiles are a fairly common sight in Brutland and Norden, thanks to the establishment of a factory of our company in the United Kingdom. However, it has occurred to us as strange that we have not yet took the time to establish a rental car agency, especially considering the fact that Brutland and Norden is a popular destination for Van Luxemburger tourists. Therefore, we hope to do so now, preferably in major cities and on all commercial airports.

If our application is to be accepted, we would like to make sure that enough vehicles will be available at the launch of our rental agency, in time for the Padania River Parade. Therefore, we have reserved a fleet of approximately 2000 automobiles, consisting of the compact L2 and L3 cars, the somewhat larger L5 and Monteluci Duca, while customers demanding sportivity will be served with either the L4 (in both coupe and convertible bodystyles) or the VLT Roadster. Furthermore, the more demanding customers will be serviced with a small fleet of VLT L6's and L7's, as well as Monteluci Ducareales and Bucintoros.

If the agency also turns out to be popular under domestic customers, we might consider also launching a line of commercial vehicles, available for rent. We hope to make this decision somewhere after the moment our first year results can be evaluated.

Dear Miss Tifferina,

With this letter, I hope to set up a regular service between the airport of Luxembourg-Findel and any of the major Nord-Brutlandese International airports. We hope to be flying our new Monteluci Condor A350 Intercontinental passenger aircraft on this route. Privacy and legroom are fundamental values on the flights performed by the GFG, and thus this 350-seat capacity aircraft will only accomodate 250 seats, in order to improve space and service. As you may realise, this makes our flights costly; 3000 USD for a round trip flight to Brutland and Norden will not be uncommon. This means that we often operate in the executive segment.

Furthermore, with Burtland and Norden being an important tourism destination, we hope to establish a more modestly priced service as well. This cheaper service, called JETVL, will offer services to the customers that are more interested in cheap air travel rather than exclusive VIP transport.

Both services will most likely be visiting at least one Nord-Brutlandese airport at least once per day. During the first week and after the last week of the Padanian River Parade we shall be flying at least twice per day with both services.

Hoping to have sufficiently informed you,

Marc Béierwier,
Manager of Operations,
Groussherzogliche Fliger Gesellschaft

Greetings!

We at the Brutland and Norden Tourist Bureau are delighted that First Mecian Airways is considering our country as a destination for tourists. Of course, in order to achieve that, we would be more than willing to present you the wonders that our country can offer. At the moment, we are busy compiling the different places and locations tourists might get attracted to. In due time, we hope to release them here for everyone to see.

Thank you so much for your interest!

Greetings!

Because we are expecting a large number of tourists, foreign and domestic, into Brutland for the Padania River Parade, we would of course welcome VLT Rental Services to establish business in our nation. Madame Nina Ventresca-Crognale over at the Brutland and Norden Business Bureau (BNBB) would be very happy to help you in that regard, and hopefully in time for the Padania River Parade.

Madame Crognale had informed us that bureaucratic obstacles in Brutland are much less as compared to in Norden. The BNBB estimates that the time for permit processing and filing of the appropriate paperwork can be finished within a day. Incorporation at the Brute Ministry of Commerce in Brutland City can take as little as three hours, if the rental corporation is a different company. Filing of the necessary permits and registration of the vehicles may take anywhere from one hour to three days, depending on the grant. (BNBB told us that the fastest Brutish grants to issue vehicle registrations are the grants of Trazio and Nicoletano.) License plates can take from three days to a week to arrive by mail.

We encourage you to start building the rental car agencies in the four major international airports listed above, and to the major cities along the parade route such as Padanica, Trascara, Concessa di Rivero, Montova, and Strambinello, so that they are ready once the parade had started.

You can inform us once they agencies are ready so we can add them to the list of rental car agencies tourists can use.

Thank you very much!

Greetings!

Certainly we will welcome the commencement of flights between Van Luxemburg and Brutland and Norden. It would be of benefit to both our countries, by increasing tourism, movement of goods and people, and of course, increased contact between our peoples.

In order to ease the establishment of the regular service, we at the Tourist Bureau have forwarded the letter to the federal Minister for Transportation, with our note of support and endorsement of its urgency.

Thank you very much!

Greetings!

The Brutland and Norden Tourist Bureau had forwarded to us your letter about your intention to commence flights between Van Luxemburg and Brutland and Norden. Like the Tourist Bureau, we certainly welcome this new development.

We have six open international airports:
  • Aeroporto di la Repubblica, Dastamone, grant of Soltera, Norden (Normark). (Code: REP)
  • Suciana-Trefini International Airport, Suciana, grant of Trefini, Norden (Dennland). (Code: STA)
  • Ronvalle Airport, Viledenno, Norden (Dennland). (Code: RAV)
  • King Kyle I International Airport/Aeroporto Internaziona di Rinno Kail I, grant of Tonzivibbia, Union Islands. (Code: KKI)
  • Brutland International Airport, Crebbia, grant of Brutia, Brutland. (Code: BIA)
  • Timberland International Airport/Aeroporto Internaziona di Marchòcchiese, Poole, grant of Timberland, Brutland. (Code: AIM)

For the purposes of the Padania River Parade, since we are expecting the influx of tourists, one domestic airport had been opened to international flights, the Padania Domestic Airport at Pianura d'Odige, grant of Padania, Brutland. There is a first-class private airport in Marigalante, grant of Padania, that could be suitable for your executive-class passengers. We are confident that these airports can handle the additional flights. Since the ministry had been setting long-term goals increasing air transport to and from Brutland and Norden, perhaps some time later we can have or negotiate an air services agreement or an equivalent.

Thank you very much!

Chevrolet Motors Canada1

We at Chevrolet Motors Canada1 would like to supply you with the rental-only vehicle:
(reprint from our nation's auto magazine/auto website below)
Chevrolet Veretta Clasico
Image

Body type: 4-door sedan (saloon to European readers)
Engines: 2.4/182bhp 4-cylinder, 2.8/256bhp V6 petrol
Trim levels: Base, Sport, Limited

The Veretta Clasico is based on the Chevrolet Veretta sold in several world markets, except its styling is much different - it is influenced by the late 1990s trend for angular styling, and is similar to (but not related) the Buick Regal of 1988-1996, which won awards for its styling, equipment levels and safety equipment.
Equipment levels are high, and all models are built to the highest standards.
This version is not sold to the public, and is exclusive to rental-car firms, for now, anyway.

Engines
Two engines are on offer: a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder with 182bhp and a 2.8-litre V6 with 256bhp. The smaller engine is economical, and great to drive, offering a smooth ride and excellent performance, whilst those looking for a bit more performance will like the 2.8 V6 engine. However, you can't get a diesel option, and the V6 is thirsty, so despite its excellent drive, the 4-cylinder is the best choice.

Equipment
Three versions are available - Base, Sport and Limited. Entry-level Base models have the 2.4-litre/182bhp 4-cylinder and have all the basic equipment you should need. This version gets 17-inch wheelcovers that are similar to those of the Vauxhall Insignia Exclusiv (a model not sold here in Canada1). Sport trim lives up to its name, and gets both engines. It also has alloy wheels as standard, although these are similar to the Buick Allure CXL's. Equipment levels inside are suitably sporting. Limited is the top-line trim-level, with extremely high equipment levels, and it is available only with the 2.8 V6 engine and automatic transmission as standard - unlike Base and Sport no manual versions are available. It is at least $2000CA more than the 2.8 V6 Sport model.

Full review
"Astounding to drive - how long before the public gets one?"

VLT Rental Services B.V.

Dear Madam,

We shall start filling in the paperwork immediately, as such that we can initiate operations in Brutland as quickly as possible. Norden may be slower, but will also be filed at the same time. This way, we hope the license plates will be in time for the cars arriving in the port of Colonella di Bruttii in the grant of Plano Verta, where the VLT factory is located. We hope to be able to mount the license plates on the cars as soon as they arrive, and then drive them to their new rental agency office, somewhere in Brutland. After the Padania River Parade, the vehicles will be divided equally between Brutland, Norden and the Union Territories, as we expect a large amount of tourists will be arriving in the Union Territories and will thus also rent a vehicle there.

Our location managers are already preparing suitable office space near the Padania River Parade cities, and will make sure that their organisation will be complete by the end of the week. Their operation may be improvised due to the time constraints we face here, but we expect little problems overall. Therefore, we see no problems regarding the addition of our offices to the list. I have taken the liberty of attaching a list of addresses for these offices to this letter.

Signed,

Dear Mister Ricagliatti,

We are very excited that we are allowed to start services to Brutland and Norden. With our planning departments busy trying to work out the required amount of aircraft and the air routes to be used, we can be fairly certain that we can start services the first week of the Padania River Parade. We also hope to fly both GFG and JETVL aircraft on Padania Domestic during the Parade, and I have notified the planning department that they should take the status of the airport as a domestic location into account, as I suspect shorter runways than usual might be in place at Padania. The same applies to GFG aircraft for Marigalante Private.

Furthermore, I have notified the Van Luxemburger Ministry of Traffic of your intention to sign an air services agreement. They will eventually be responsible for the Van Luxemburger side of things.

Manager of Operations,

OOC: Good to see you back, B&N! :)

My apologies for letting our RP fade out... Would you be interested in continuing it here on these newer boards?
And I hope you don't mind if I assume that two of my airlines (collectively speaking) already fly four times a day to Vilòstresa and daily to the five other cities you listed. :p

Greetings!

We thank you for replying to our short note. We have informed certain travel centres that you were still gathering all the information on the tourist attractions. They were willing to wait for the release of the information. We have seen information about the upcoming Padania River Parade, and we feel that Mecians could really enjoy the celebration. Please try to release the information before 22 November, so that Mecians could fully take part in the celebration.

Please do check out our website - http://www.firstmecianairways.com for information about our services, routes and other information.

Greetings!

We duly appreciate your interest in the Padania River Parade. However, the Tourist Bureau is not responsible for providing rental cars for tourists or supplying them, the privately-owned companies do. We have forwarded your letter to the rental car companies in our database, such as Rent-a-Car Co. and N&N Co.

Thank you very much!

Greetings!

We are elated that GFG and JETVL will be able to fly in tourists for the parade. Perhaps your planning department had made reconsiderations about Padania Domestic, but the Ministry would like to inform you that the runways at Padania had recently been lengthened to the standards of international airports, both in its bid to accommodate bigger aircraft and to achieve the status of an international airport. In essence, Padania Domestic has the structure of an international airport but currently only serves domestic flights. Its status as a domestic airport hasn't just been changed.
