Established with Austrian support on the 19th of February, 1920, Rombergia is the official flag carrier airline of the Principality of Romberg, wholly owned and operated by the government. Having been granted a royal charter on the 2nd of May, 1977, it has since become the premier airline of the Northeastern part of the region, and has an average passenger count of 25 million every year. Since its humble origins with only two second-hand aircraft, it has since grown to be a medium-sized airline with a wide range of destinations to choose from.

Rombergia strives to maintain a reputation for punctuality and efficiency. We operate the most modern aircraft possible with a highly trained aircrew, many having previously served in the Imperial Armed Forces of the Principality of Romberg. As the source of first impressions of Romberg as a whole, Rombergia is dedicated to providing a luxurious and comfortable experience on all its flights at a reasonable price.

The fleet of Rombergia only consists of two models, the PAP M75H and the PAP K20R. Both models are manufactured locally in the industrial city of Ravenholm.

The PAP M75H is based on the RMA 750 model, and is used on all our long haul flights with 40 Imperial Class seats and 210 Standard Class seats. Imperial Class seats are arranged in 1-2-1 configuration and Standard Class seats arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration.

The PAP K20R is based on the Karlberg Industries KRJ-200 model modified for our needs, and is used on all our domestic and regional flights with 6 Imperial Class seats and 64 Standard Class seats. Imperial Class seats are arranged in a 1-1 configuration and Standard Class seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration.

Rombergia currently has a fleet of 250 PAP M75H and 50 PAP K20R.

Rombergia is part of two of the world's largest airline alliances, Sky Team and the Clear Skies Alliance. As such, discounted prices can be offered for connection flights on airlines in the alliances, as well as other facilities part of the alliances. At Rombergia, we believe that easy access to our flight is an integral part of a smooth journey. Hence, we strive to make checking in easy. There are two main methods of booking a seat. Firstly, one can walk into any of our counters for a traditional paper boarding pass. The other method is through an e-ticket, in which a QR-code could be scanned by a smartphone following the transaction, conducted over a secure and encrypted webpage. The QR code leads to an electronic version of the ticket, whereby upon saving, the same smartphone, with the ticket shown, could be used to directly be read by the machine at the gate for easy access. Should staff at a check-in counter be unable to present to you your ticket within 15 minutes, or if your e-ticket does not load even after 15 minutes, we promise a refund of 10% for the flight. However, if you have luggage needed to be checked in, then you would still need to process them at one of our counters, where a slip detailing the luggage you have checked in would be presented to you in case anything happens to it.

Should you be unable to be present for a flight, you can attempt to reschedule for another later one at no cost, but it must be done at least 3 hours before the original flight or else an additional surcharge of 50% shall be levied. We do not guarantee any seats present on other flights, and we shall refund the ticket in full should you not be able to reschedule another flight. Should you cancel your flight at least 24 hours in advance, then the full ticket fee would be refunded. Should you cancel your flight at least 3 hours in advance, then 50% of the full fee would be refunded. However, if you cancel your flight less than 3 hours before the actual flight, then you shall not receive any refunds.

Should the plane be delayed due to technical error, Rombergia promises to reimburse 10% of the flight price every hour delayed, to a maximum of 250%, and should the flight be cancelled entirely by Rombergia due to technical error, 250% of the ticket price would be paid to every passenger who has booked the flight. However, should the flight be disrupted for reasons other than error on the fault of Rombergia, then we shall not be liable to provide any compensation.

If you have any condition that may require the attention of Rombergia staff, such as dietary requirements or disabilities, please inform a member of staff at one of our airport counters at least 3 hours before the flight or on the online application itself. Arrangements shall be made to accomodate such needs without any cost or additional hassle. If however arrangements cannot be made, then the tickets would be directly refunded at full cost, along with an additional 20% as compensation.

At Rombergia, we value safety greatly, both of you as passengers, as well as other members of the same flight. As such, we take safety to a high standard. The safety requirement is essentially based on Rombergian law, and the Rombergian legal code serves as the final judgement for any disputes that may arise.

For safety in flight, there is a maximum luggage requirement of a total perimeter less than 12 metres, and a maximum mass of 30kg for Imperial Class and 25 kg for Standard Class passengers. Each passenger above the age of 12 is entitled to at most 2 units of luggage, or else a surcharge shall be charged. Similarly, hence minors less than or equal to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult under Rombergian law, i.e. at least 18 years of age, while those between 12 & 18 can travel alone but should provide evidence of a guardian to contact in case anything happens.

No explosives, radioactive, biohazard or otherwise dangerous substance as defined by the Rombergian legal code are allowed on any of Rombergia's flights, and knives of a reasonable size or hazardous substances not considered overly dangerous according to Rombergian law must be stowed in luggage not carried onboard. Medicine, unless an immediate requirement may be needed such as insulin for diabetics or inhalers for asthmatics, must similarly be stowed in luggage. Exceptions can be made, but for a price to register a permit, and must be applied at least 24 hours prior to the flight with adequate documentation proving actual need for the transfer of said items. Pets are not allowed onboard except for guide dogs for the blind, or otherwise must be applied in advance and take the flight in the cargo hold in a specially heated and pressurized cage. An additional surcharge will be levied.

A rarity to most major airlines, Rombergia only offers two choice in classes. However, this does not mean that there is a difference in quality of service compared to most premium airlines.

Imperial Class: Equivalent to First Class on most airlines, it offers the best service possible on Rombergia. Passengers who choose to use Imperial Class also enjoy many other discounts and are eligible to use the services of the Imperial Lounge. The Imperial Class also contains many extra facilities, including meals prepared by some of Romberg's finest chefs, unlimited wifi connection and the seat transforms into a completely flat bed.

The Imperial Class looks similar to the photo above, only with hand-made leather seats instead.

Standard Class: The Standard Class seats are much more than standard, and are equivalent to Premium Economy seats on most major airlines. While they may enjoy fewer facilities compared to the Imperial Class, they still have at least 5cm more leg room compared to most competitors and are around 10cm wider than most competitors. Standard Class seats also have a surprisingly large angle of recline. Food too is surprisingly enjoyable, with standards the same as Business Class on most airlines. Whilst wifi is paid, it is at a relatively low price of ◊0.50 per 10 minutes or part thereof, and inflight entertainment system is standard on all Standard Class seats.

As conforming to regulations in the Principality of Romberg, an airport tax or fuel tax is not required for flights on Rombergia, resulting in flights being cheaper than most competitors.

Unique to Rombergia too is its pricing system, in which prices are not calculated, but simply metered according to distance flown. The price for Imperial Class seats is currently ◊ 2.00 per 5 km, while the price for Standard Class seats is currently ◊ 0.25 per 5 km.

For members of related alliance flight miles programs, there is a 10% discount for all flights, and a further 10% discount if bought as a package with tickets from another airline or other services by members of the alliances.

In addition, minors less than or equal to the age of 12 are entitled to a 50% discount on all tickets.

At Rombergia, we understand the need to protect the environment. Hence, we conduct our operations with sustainability in mind. All our aircraft are made of new models, which make use of more renewable materials in their construction, as well as efficient engines that produce less emissions than comparable models of its class. We also pledge to plan trees every year to offset the carbon cost due to emissions from our aircraft.

Our core services too have the environment in mind, hence our check-in services providing a strong emphasis on online reservations of seats, and integration of core functions of our airline with the digital world. All paper used come from sustainable or recycled sources, and all metals are recycled, including everything from aluminium cans to the composite aircraft bodies. Our peripheral services take pay much attention to sustainability as well, with the Imperial Lounge making strong use of local products, and having energy-saving mechanisms built in, including solar panels and the incorporation of large windows to let in natural lighting. Our tours too often make use of public transport or bicycles for an authentically local experience, and our airport limousines only use new and fast but efficient models.

The Imperial Miles program is the official flight miles program of Rombergia. The system of rewarding flight miles is very simple, with each mile corresponding to ◊ 1.00 spent on any activities conducted by Rombergia, including tickets, inflight purchases and ground facilities such as the Imperial Lounge. Imperial Miles are interchangeable with mileage systems of other airlines belonging to the Sky Team Alliance or Clear Skies Alliance. Every mile earned can in turn be converted back into ◊ 0.25 when making a purchase at Rombergia, but must be paid in increments of 100. For example, a person who has 56 025 miles on their account would only be allowed to use 56 000 miles, and no more. The remaining miles would continue to be stored. Imperial Miles are valid for three years since the previous transaction with a member of the alliances.

Having a sleek, modern design, the Imperial Lounge is the official airline lounge for Rombergia. With free broadband wifi internet connection, a large selection of media from around the world, high-quality food and drinks, as well as services, the Imperial Lounge is well equipped for anyone who wishes to relax before a flight. Access to the Imperial Lounge is free for anyone taking Imperial Class flights or equivalent on airlines belonging to the same alliances, and would cost ◊ 25.00 for anyone else to enter and use its facilities. In addition, it also includes a spa and massage service with showers and guest rooms to spend the night in for long transits, charged at reasonable prices. The guest rooms in particular are designed and furnished so that they bear a striking resemblance to premium hotel rooms in Romberg itself.

Rombergia Tours is a specialized tourism subsidiary of Rombergia, catering to passengers who are on transit in the Principality of Romberg. It offers tours around the major cities of the Principality of Romberg with an airport served by Rombergia, for a price of
◊ 15.00 per hour. Tours can be anywhere from three to twelve hours long.

No, we do not have an inflight shop. We believe that the key to a comfortable flight is one where passengers can do as they please and are free of outside influences, especially commercialism. However, should passengers require any product bought for them, they are more than welcome to contact a member of the flight crew onboard the flight and inform them of their requests. Duty-free shops at the destination shall be contacted and the goods shall be delivered to them at the gate of the destination airport of the flight. A small service charge of ◊ 10.00 shall be levied on all purchases in that manner.

We thank you for recommending us to purchase your products. However, as we have purchased the production license of the RMA 750, and we have already produced locally-made variants tailor made for Rombergia, we currently have no requirement to purchase new aircraft. Hence, we thank you for your offer, but unfortunately we must decline it for now.
