PRICE

  • Unit Cost:
  • SIR/DMR/CAR: $2700 NSD
  • Commando: $1700 NSD
  • DPR: $2.7mil NSD
Description
The M41A2 TAFIR is an improvement over the original, making the system overall more streamlined, lightweight, slightly more ergonomic, and more accurate. The weapons all feature a dual-side-mounted charging handle rather than the top, and do away with the the built-in handle. In addition to improved and more natural air-cooling channels, the entire weight of each weapon has dropped from the original. The handle has been brought back and partly remodeled, and the head-rest improved for ergonomics. The gas-line redirect has been moved forward on the weapons, save for the Commando, in order to prevent from redirecting the gas too early, improving the accuracy and power of each rifle; the improved flash suppressor also improves it's stealth. The SIR and Carbine models are shown with new holographic sights with an adjustable zoom.
All weapons now come with built-in flip-up sights to improve reliability. The Carbine, SIR, and DMR all retain their inter-weapon mission customization.

PRICE

  • Unit Cost:
  • SIR/DMR/CAR: $2400 NSD
  • Commando: $1300 NSD
  • Defender: $1000 NSD
  • DPR: $2.1mil
Description
The M-41 TAFIR System comes as a multi-function rifle, aimed at standardizing primary weapons across the board when it comes to combat. Combining high-power with light-weight polymers and metals, the system can deliver a one-two punch reliably no matter what the condition it's placed in. In the off chance a part should fail, critical parts are easily interchangeable throughout the entire M-41 family.
The standard M-41 receiver can modified according to mission necessity, allowing for easy on-the-go variability, accommodating any platoon's needs.
The bullpup design means that each model has a power not normally associated with a weapon it's size; even the M-41D, the size of a machine-pistol, is able to deliver the same kinetic energy of a carbine or smaller rifle, with devastating effects.
To compensate for recoil, the TAFIR uses a system closer to the KRISS Super-V; the same system as used in the MX VARIC. The recoil is directed not directly to the body of the gun, rather, to a pair of pistons, which, in assistance with the gases, is forced forward and slightly up, one in front and one aft of the firing chamber, nullifying the recoil of the weapon, allowing the shooter to place nearly every round within a very tight space.
The M-41K and M-41D only use one of these pistons, and so their recoil is not as well compensated for. Despite this, both still attain an accuracy and stability practically unheard of.
For easy large-scale use and simplification of parts, every gun is ambidextrous, using a charging-hand just above and in front of the head-rest, allowing both left-handed and right-handed users to reload and cock the weapon effortlessly, without ever having to move their primary hand.
Each and every helical flattened magazine comes with a nylon strap, allowing it to comfortably be moved from it's carrying pouch, and the design allows them to be stored easily, as well as to be non-cumbersome for soldiers to carry.
Each weapon features semi-automatic and fully-automatic fire, and can be opened for basic cleaning with nothing more than a standard round. For more extensive cleaning, Allen wrenches are required. They may be stored inside and just below the carrying-handle assembly on most rifles.
All weapons come with folding ironsights, which are completely adjustable and removable. All attachments shown are not required to be purchased.

M-41A1 SIR
Standard Infantry Rifle

Caliber: 6.8x43mm SPC Remington
Effective Range: 700 yards (900 yards with optics)
Rate of Fire: 800 rounds per minute
Weight: 7.8lbs
Magazine: 60 Round Flattened Helical Magazine
Operation: Gas Operated, Super V
Features: Picatinny Rail System, Mission-customization
Selective Fire: Semi-automatic, Fully Automatic

The M-41 SIR was the original inception of the TAFIR series. Meant for medium-range combat, the SIR is even capable of being used by marksmen for long-ranges, and by the combat-capable, closer ranges. Meant for street-urban combat and the rural battlefield, the M-41 SIR uses the standard TAFIR receiver, allowing it to be switched to the Carbine or the DMR, depending on what the unit needs.
It utilizes an 20 inch barrel and the larger 60-round magazine, allowing this weapon to even be used as Squad-Automatic Weapon, and can mount banana, box, and even Beta-C magazines, so long as they use the 6.8mm SPC round. In addition to the Picatinny Rails, this gives the SIR the most versatility of any of the five variants in the TAFIR family.
Here it is shown with a Holographic sight for short/medium ranged combat.
When purchased, the M-41 SIR is packaged with the M-41 CAR and M-41 DMR.

M-41A1 CAR
Carbine

Caliber: 6.8x43mm SPC Remington
Effective Range: 600 yards (700 yards with optics)
Rate of Fire: 800 rounds per minute
Weight: 6.8lbs
Magazine: 60 Round Flattened Helical Magazine
Operation: Gas Operated, Super V
Features: Picatinny Rail System, Mission-customization
Selective Fire: Semi-automatic, Fully Automatic

The M-41 Carbine owes it's conception to urban combat and the M-41 SIR. Built on the same receiver for pre-mission swapping, The Carbine assembly lightens the load and shortens the barrel length from 20 inches to 14 inches, much of that inside the original assembly, making the carbine rather sort, and capable of being used more like a sub-machine gun, as much of it's weight is above or begin the grip, making pivoting the weapon rather easy, and suitable for close-ranged combat and medium ranged combat alike. Using the same 60-round magazine as the SIR, it can also mount the same auxiliary magazines.
Here it is shown with a T-pod Forward Grip/Bipod, collapsed and unfolded; the same unit as shown on the DMR.
When purchased, the M-41 CAR is packaged with the M-41 SIR and M-41 DMR.

M-41 DMR
Designated Marksman's Rifle

Caliber: 6.8x43mm SPC Remington
Effective Range: 1250 yards (1500 yards with optics)
Rate of Fire: 800 rounds per minute
Weight: 8.8lbs
Magazine: 60 Round Flattened Helical Magazine
Operation: Gas Operated, Super V
Features: Picatinny Rail System, Mission-customization
Selective Fire: Semi-automatic, Fully Automatic

Designed entirely for long range, the M-41 DMR can also be used for medium-ranged combat as needed. Using the same receiver as the Standard Infantry Rifle, the DMR assembly allows a shooter to extend his barrel length from 20 inches to 26 inches for mission necessity, giving traditional heavy-barrel accuracy, stability, and the long-rifle range to any rifleman should he need it. Like the SIR and Carbine, it uses a 60-round magazine and is capable of mounting the same magazines as the SIR.
Here it is shown with an ACOG x4 scope and the same T-pod Forward Grip/Bipod, here extended and folded for bi-pod use. The ACOG scope featured also utilizes a smaller ironsight on top for necessary closer-ranged use on-the-fly.

M-41A1K
Commando

Caliber: 6.8x43mm SPC Remington
Effective Range: 500 yards (600 yards with optics)
Rate of Fire: 750 rounds per minute
Weight: 5.8lbs
Magazine: 35 Round Flattened Helical Magazine
Operation: Gas Operated, Super V
Features: Picatinny Rail System, Mission-customization
Selective Fire: Semi-automatic, Fully Automatic

The Commando is meant for Special Forces use, as it is much smaller and even capable of fitting in smaller business luggage. It is primarily meant for short-ranged use, but retains accuracy at up to medium-ranged distances. It only uses one compensator-piston, meaning that it's sustained-fire accuracy is not as good as the SIR, DMR, or Carbine, but it's single piston does lend it to still be deadly when used in fully-automatic style. It's magazine only carries 35-rounds, however, it can still mount the Beta-C magazines, Banana magazines, and box-magazines.
The M-41K is, unfortunately, less compatible to the mainstream three rifles, as some of it's parts are different in style; most are the same, but the rifle itself is designed to be more compact.
Here it is shown with a silencer.
