Plot Summary: Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, Corrillos Military School, is an old institution in the small town of Monterrey in Central Gran Chaco. For over 150 years it has raised up young cadets and prepared them for military service. This is all challenged when the local corrupt mayor and his chief of police come up with a plot to imprison the commandant, a decorated former war hero, and have the school closed to build a cement factory on the grounds.

It is up to the commander of the corps of cadets, a handsome young cadet colonel by the name of Miguel, and his staff , Alex and David, to organized the students to take up arms and defend the campus from the local officials and their band of town boys. The corps of cadets all enthusiastically side with their leaders and soon have barricaded the walls of the academy and set up guard posts and sand bag bunkers to prevent construction from starting. Soon a siege ensues when the town police, construction workers, and local militia surround the school. The separation splits the cadet commander away from his love, Marissa, a beautiful young daughter of one of the town’s police sergeants. Miguel must balance his duties as a leader with his duties as a man.

One night the local boys led by the mayors large, greedy and selfish son, Raul, try to sneak onto the academy grounds in order to burn the gates in order to let the police onto the campus, but they are confronted by Miguel, Alex, and David. David declares that they should be tied up and tortured, while Alex convinces Miguel to release them. As the boys are exiting the gate their leader, declares his intention to violate Marissa as punishment for loving a cadet.

Miguel immediately knowing what he must do, challenges the larger Raul to a fight for the honor of Marissa. The fight is a brutal one, with Raul using dirty tactics, but Miguel’s honor and discipline hold out and he eventually vanquishes his foe, before extending a hand to help him back to his feet. The town boys leave in shame and defeat.

The next day the mayor seeing his son had failed and came home bruised decides to appeal to the army to have them order the boys to surrender. Señora Carolina, the beautiful wife of the imprisoned commandant is sent as a negotiator to try and convince Miguel to lay down arms. Though touched by Señora Carolina’s grief, Miguel refuses declaring that the Commandant taught him God and honor above all else. Impressed and touched by Miguels stalwart stand, Señora Carolina throws herself at him and in a fiery passion the two make love. The next day Señora Carolina leaves and tells the army commander that the boys are in the right, and she cannot negotiate on behalf of a corrupted local mayor. The army commander seeing that he was duped, tells the mayor that he will be reported to the Ministry of Justice and will be arrested.

The mayor in a fit of rage orders his men to drive a bulldozer through the gates of the academy and for his men to storm the building. A firefight ensues between the cadets and the mayors men, exacerbated by David’s use of a machine gun to kill many of the local police officers. Alex convinces Miguel that the mayors men must not be killed like this and the two rush to stop David. As they reach David a burst of fire from the town militia kills David and Alex. Miguel seeing that the cadets have won the fight but not wishing to see more senseless killing, orders a ceasefire.

He comes out to the gates to tell the mayor that it is pointless for him to continue. The police, with their chief killed in the firefight are now commanded by Marissa’s father who declares his intent to arrest the mayor and charge him with the murder of everyone who has died. The mayor in a fit of rage grabs the pistol out of a police officer’s holster and shoots Miguel in the chest before being gunned down by other police officers.

Miguel slowly dies cradled by a sobbing Marissa as everyone looks on and weeps, both town and cadet. The final scene shows a Chacano flag being raised above the school, which is still open. A close up of the new cadets in formation reveals that they are made up of the town boys that had tried to work against the school. The released commandant looks on proudly. The camera pans to a statue of Miguel and fades to black.

Plot Summary: Based on the classic Frankenlischian novel. Edmund Dantes, a young Frankenlischian sailor, has taken command of his merchant sloop after its captain, Remarche (Cameoed by the Marquis de Montrais), is taken deathly ill. He returns the ship safely to Gestoria with a cargo of Merlot and a crew of Marienbergers. Upon arrival, Captain Remarche dies and Dantes is placed in command by the head of the company much to the dismay of Danglars, a jealous officer aboard his ship, and Mondego, cousin to Dantes’ fiance Mercedes and her admirer.

Danglars and Mondego send a letter to the local constabulary accusing Dantes of running bootleg Merlot, brewed aboard his ship. A band of Squires of the Innkeeper’s Guild arrest Dantes and take him to the deputy Crown Prosecutor in Gestoria, Gerard de Villefort. De Villefort, whose father, Nortier, is actually the source of the bootleg Merlot in the area, has Dantes condemned to life imprisonment without trial to save his career. He also has Dantes’ cargo of wine burned, claiming it is the contraband.

Dantes is imprisoned in the Castle Frioul, a prison administered by the Innkeeper’s Guild and, there, meets the Count Faria. Faria is a nobleman, imprisoned for selling whiskey without being a guild member, and the pair become friends as Faria’s escape tunnel ends up in Dantes’ cell. As the pair attempt to dig a new tunnel, Count Faria educates Dantes in culture, language, mathematics and the sciences. The pair spend their evenings getting drunk on strong whiskey brewed from the barley in their gruel on a makeshift still, along with the strong beer which is provided by the prison. Aware of his coming death from liver failure, Faria informs Dantes of a treasure hidden on the island of Monte Cristo. Days later, he dies and Dantes escapes by hiding in the burial sack and escaping when it is thrown into the sea. Dantes is rescued by smugglers, who are running the same Merlot which Dantes was accused of brewing, and they take him to Monte Cristo to claim the treasure.

Five years on, Dantes begins to plot his revenge on those who have wronged him. He reappears in Frankenlisch as a rich aristocrat, having inherited the County of Monte Cristo by getting the old, dying Count drunk and convincing the nobleman to adopt him as his heir. His enemies are: Baron Danglars, who is now a wealthy banker and wine merchant. De Villefort, now Chief Prosecutor to the Prince of Marienberg. Count Mondego, now married to Mercedes and a celebrated war hero. And, finally, Caderousse, a cowardly teetotaller who allowed Dantes to be arrested by the Innkeeper’s Guild.

He begins his quest for revenge by ingratiating himself into Frankenlischian society. He hosts great galas and parties and takes on a young Marienberger, Bertuccio, to help him, setting him up as the rich Count de Cavalcante. He meets with his enemies, who fail to recognise him. Monte Cristo banks with the Baron Danglars, who sends Monte Cristo a cask of Merlot as a gift. De Villefort provides Monte Cristo with police protection and Monte Cristo has Bertuccio romance de Villefort’s beautiful daughter, Valentine. Finally, Monte Cristo meets Count Mondego and is astounded to see Mercedes, now the Countess Mondego, who recognises him immediately.

Monte Cristo strikes first by having Bertuccio kill Caderousse in a duel. He avoids suspicion by claiming Caderousse, a teetotaler, insulted him by refusing to drink at one of his parties. Bertuccio is arrested but, at his trial, Monte Cristo intercedes on his behalf by exposing Gerard de Villefort, who is the prosecutor, as a bootlegger with a taste for foreign whiskey. De Villefort is shamed and breaks down, he is confined to an asylum, completing the next stage of Dantes’ revenge.

Monte Cristo moves on to Danglars. He bribes a semaphore operator to report that the vineyards of Marienberg and Cunaris are experiencing fungal rot. Danglars, horrified, cancels his orders and takes his lost money from his bank’s vault. His customers are furious and discover that there was no fungal rot infection and that, in fact, both regions are experiencing an excellent harvest. They accuse Danglars of cheating them and, disgraced, he shoots himself in his office. There remains only one enemy.

Finally, the time has come for Count Mondego. In his newspaper, the Count of Monte Cristo attacks Mondego’s character and accuses him of selling the wife and daughter of Hadi Haamid Al-Ghazzawi, the Essyrian Sultan, into slavery, following the Battle of Bexketh. Mondego’s son, Albert, challenges Monte Cristo to a duel. Mercedes visits Monte Cristo to beg for her son’s life and is told the story of how Edmund Dantes was imprisoned for fourteen years. At the duel, Albert misses the Count as he is drunk and Monte Cristo deduces that he is aware of Dantes’ story and spares his life.

At a hearing regarding the accusations against Count Mondego, the only witness is a Prodavan woman named Haydee, who is proven to be the daughter of Al-Ghazzawi and claims that Mondego betrayed her father and sold his wife and daughter into slavery in Balion. Monte Cristo arrives and defends her when Mondego accuses her of being a lying infidel. Monte Cristo reveals that he is Edmund Dantes and the pair fight a duel in the courtroom and Mondego, who has steadily been getting drunk throughout the hearing, loses. He is arrested and Monte Cristo, his revenge complete, returns to his estate.

The film ends as the Count discovers that Mercedes is going abroad to be with her son, who has joined the Imperial Army and is headed to New Columbia. She rejects Monte Cristo’s requests to go with her and the two lament their lost love and broken youth. They say their farewells. The last scene of the film has Monte Cristo dying at his estate. As his liver finally shuts down, he utters his last word: “Mercedes…”

Safizon, loyal to the United Federation is a key junction city uniting the Noviteran east and west. Its downfall could mean a swift end to the country so many Noviterans fought for.

In its dark hour Jordan Tavish turns to Robert "Bobby" Gilchrest, a daring trade caravan manager and veteran of the War of Indepence. Tavish's asks Gilchrest to save Safizon and Novitera. Gilchrest sees the opportunity. If he can bring much needed goods to the markets of Safizon, he will make a fortune. In his path is the Noviteran wilderness, bandits and the territory of the warlord Tanner Osborn who has declared the State of Korsiki who has cut off Safizon from supply. Gilchrest forms a partnership with many other early Avantine joint stock companies and merchants. They pool their money, load wagons, and hire mercenaries then set off. Gilchrest's plan is simple, break Osborn's blockade. If the Gilchrest caravan does not make it in time, starvation will ravage the city.

Gilchrest leads the caravan into the heart of Novitera. Along the way they struggle to cross rivers, repel brigands and hold on to the precious cargo they are carrying. The greatest obstacle along the way is a fort held by Osborn that guards the mountain pass to Safizon. Gilchrest daringly leads a force of armed merchants and mercenaries through a treacherous roundabout way in the mountains to launch a surprise attack on the fort. The battle is quick but decisive. He is able to take the fort and open the road to Safizon. But the victory is not final. On the plains 25 miles from the town, the forces of Tanner Osborn intercept the Gilchrest Caravan. Luckily, Ghilcrest's scouts had detected their movements well beforehand. He circles wagons and hides his cavalry beyond a nearby hill. What ensues is a battle between the forces of Osborn and Gilchrest. They attack the caravan headlong. Once committed, Gilchrest deploys his cavalry leading the charge himself. Osborn recognizes this and is able to meet it with a cavalry force of his own. They charge at each other firing rifles and pistols. As the two meet, Katanas and Sabers are drawn. Gilchrest manages to defeat Osborn's cavalry and attack the rear of his forces engaged with the caravan. Osborn's small army is soundly defeated and he flees the battle.

What follows are the cheering throngs of Safizon's residents as Gilchrest's Caravan enters the city. Every October 25th to this day is celebrated in Safizon in honor of Robert Gilchrest. Gilchrest uses the fortune he makes to invest in the railroads that are laid down in the late 19th century and dies a wealthy man forever remembered in the hearts of Safizonians. A year after Safizon is saved, Tanner Osborn and the remains of his forces are defeated and captured by the Free Noviteran Army bringing an end to the State of Korsiki for good.
