Northern Emirates Storefront (MT)

Postby Northern Emirates » Sat Oct 31, 2009 12:13 pm

This is my storefront for most of my MT vehicles and weapons. Right now I've only got a few items up, but when I have time I will put more up.

Weapons:
N15 6mm Assault Rifle-$500
-The standard weapon of the Northern Emirate Army, the N15 has a fantastic rate of fire, and includes a built-in limiter to save ammunition.
N34 10mm Machine Gun-$650
-The N34 is a light, cheap automatic weapon that still performs exceptionally well. Though it is not as durable as some machine guns, it is much less heavy, and thus allows more ammunition to be carried.

Ground Vehicles:
Fire Chariot (Scout/IFV)-$5 million
-The classic NEA vehicle, the Fire Chariot is a small but reliable scout. It is equipped with a single-shot TOW launcher and a 20mm cannon. Its armor thickness approaches 50mm.
Bobcat (APC/IFV)-$10 million
-The Bobcat is a heavier and slower wheeled IFV. It can carry half a squad of soldiers, and can also carry most of their necessary supplies and ammunition. It is armed with a 30mm cannon, 6mm coaxial machine gun, and a twin-barrel TOW launcher.

Aircraft:
Javelin (Fighter)-$20 million
-The Javelin is a very small fighter aircraft, about the size of an RAF Tornado. Due to its size, it is easy and cheap to produce. However, it is cheaper to purchase the blueprints than it is to buy the aircraft themselves. It is not as sophisticated as some modern aircraft, with an on board computer about as powerful as a desktop. It is lightly armored, but is highly agile and fast. It is powered by a single turbofan engine. The armament consists of one 20mm cannon and six hardpoints. However, to fully utilize the hardpoints, smaller missiles like my Viper are needed. The AIM-9 Sidewinder is large enough to limit the Javelin to two apiece.

Missiles and Bombs:
Viper (AAM)-$5000
-Basically, a condensed air-to-air IR-tracking missile. Its size is due to its being designed to fit the Javelin.
Spitting Viper (AAM)-$7000
-A longer-range Viper, with a more modern tracking system. It is similar to an AMRAAM.

OOC: You don't need more designs, you need more detail. Like, by an order of magnitude at least.

Right now what you have doesn't qualify as... well, as anything at all. The Pokédex has longer descriptions than that, and your designs aren't even named after Pokémon.

Also, an aircraft with avionics as powerful as a desktop would have 20 times more processing power than an F-22.
And, air-to-air missiles cost more like $200,000-$900,000.
There is a line most people say they will never cross. It is usually something they have done long ago when they thought no one was watching.
