Kieran Westwood,

Gordonopian Games is very excited to be partnering with both your company and C Games to help break into the Collumbackbarian market. For the Titan to truly be the best gaming experience in the world, it needs to have an audience worldwide, and your store will help bring our console to millions of soon-to-be excited gamers.

As is standard for a distributor, we will require a fee of one million USD per year, as well as an additional 280.00 USD per unit sold. With your projected sales volume, you should have no trouble making a yearly profit on the console and its accompanying games. Furthermore, should we call for a worldwide price cut, the cut will come out of the fee for the console and not your share of the revenue. Gordonopian Games covers the costs of shipping to Southtip and setting up GConnect infrastructure for your nation. The rest of the costs, such as domestic distribution and marketing, will be up to your company. Relevant information, such as marketing, media, and customer service materials, have been sent to your company electronically.

We hope to continue to do business with the vibrant gaming industry in Collumbackbar.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

Dear Taylor Hawk,

Gordonopian Games is very happy to inform you and your company that we, following review of your application, have agreed to accept you as a Regional Distribution Partner.

As we are sure you're well aware, there is a cost of becoming an RDP: one million USD per year, plus a fee of 280 USD per console sold. Due to your projected sales, your company should have no trouble at all turning a profit on both the Titan and the first and second party titles sold with it. Additionally, should we institute a global price cut, it will come out of the fee rather than out of your share of the revenue.

We look forward to helping your company become a major player in the NSI gaming market, and hope that this is the start of a very prosperous partnership.

Dear Mr. Woodworks,

We are thrilled to add another game to the Titan library! An open-world sci-fi game is a niche that has yet to be filled on the console, and we are sure that gamers will love it!

Regarding the license, we are willing to offer you a small reduction in the price per game because you intend to make it console-exclusive for the Titan. Rather than the usual 6.50 USD per copy you would pay were it a typical multiplatform, Gordonopian Games will accept a flat 5.00 USD. We have delegated space on GConnect servers to handle the multiplayer capabilities of Rim Seekers, as well as any achievements or future downloadable content you wish to include.

We have also noticed that the Titan is currently not distributed in your home nation of Itailia. As we are confident that the Titan will provide a stellar experience for both your game, and for the numerous other titles on the system, we would like to inquire as to whether your company or any business contacts within Itailia would be willing to sign a contract as a Regional Distribution Partner for the Titan.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

Dear Sir or Madame,

We love your new flat fee at 5.00 USD and readily accept it. In regards to your distribution inquiry, originally at the time we placed the developer registration for Rim Seekers with you, Levis Media Corporation was lacking in numerous facilities required for such a large scale distrubution of an internationally acclaimed console, however given our recent acquisition by Sol Novus Company, we now have access to these facilities, such as vital distribution centers and more stores. We expect that within the first year of Titan being available within the Empire to the Amanitte people at large, our analysis calls for atleast three million units sold if not more. Therefore, you will find the Distribution Partner application attached to this letter.

Company Name: Levis Media Divison [Owned by Sol Novus Company]
Representative Name: Decimus Octunius
Nation: Twin Amanitte Empire of Itailia
Previous Experiences with the Video Game Industry: Sol Novus is just entering the video game and gaming industry now, however her gaming department, Levis Game Studioes, is an internationally acclaimed gaming studio that has produced two award winning series and has plenty of more releases planned.
Port of Call for Shipments: Erucia, Vinci, Itailia
Projected Annual Sales in Your Nation: M$3,500,000

Dear Decimus Octunius,

We are thrilled to be welcoming another nation into Titan world! As Itailia has a vibrant gaming community, we are sure that distributing the Titan there will bring great success to both your company and our own.

As you are well aware, the cost of becoming a Regional Distribution Partner comes to one million USD annually, in addition to a 280.00 USD fee for each console sale. As a distributor, you will be responsible for shipping from Erucia to retailers, as well as marketing and customer service in Itailia. Gordonopian Games, though, takes on several major costs, including shipment of consoles and first party to Erucia, the set-up of online G-Connect infrastructure for your nation, and we will also help you deal with third-party publishers. Furthermore, we provide you with a trove of marketing, media, and other materials digitally.

We hope we can continue to work with Levis and Sol Novus in the future!

Press Release

Image

Eyer Waltz is a legend in Gordonopia's gaming community. Though he has headed only two projects in the past, both went on to become hallmarks of the industry, and are regulars among various critic's 'top games of all time' lists. Eight years since his last release, Waltz's new Titan exclusive, Paradox, has now hit shelves worldwide.

By pushing the boundaries of both one's imagination the Titan and crafting a masterful story and setting, Waltz's third game is just as masterful as its predecessors, and is a perfect example of why single-player gaming remains relevant in an age where online multiplayer seems omnipresent.

The player's character, Martin, is a big-city beat cop who is shot in the line of duty. When he wakes from a coma, and miraculously recovers his strength and stamina, he finds that he has acquired an amazing talent: the ability to travel through time to any year of the 34 years in which he has lived. He chooses to keep this a secret, but at first resolves to use it for good. He initially uses the power to solve old cold cases from the city's crime files, traveling back to when the crimes themselves were committed and preventing them from occurring. Whenever Martin makes a change, he is the only one to remember the original timeline, so those who live in the universe to which he returns have no recollection of the crimes ever taking place.

As the game progresses, though, Martin begins to have more fun with his power. As he is exploring the city through the fabric of time, though, he notices strange events occurring that become worse and worse for his own life. It seems as if someone else has his same ability and has resolved to make his life a living hell. After a series of dreadful alterations beginning with the accidental death of his young daughter, and then the separation of him and his wife, all before the 'present day', he begins to seek out the culprit. After chasing a shadow across the years, he finally realizes the truth: the changes were his own doing. His meddling with time and space set the course for his own tragic demise.

Outside of the main storyline, the setting itself provides a massive world to explore. Not only is the city itself fleshed out, but advanced algorithms are employed to 'grow' the city organically over the timeline in which Martin can travel. Though cars and people are randomly generated, the buildings and locations that make up the city are constantly changing over the decades, and can be impacted by Martin's actions. If Martin, for example, destroys a building in 1983, that same building may be a vacant lot in 1984, a construction zone in 1986, and an fresh new apartment complex with a visitable cafe on the ground floor in 1990.

Find Paradox wherever Titan games are sold.

OOC: I had this draft saved in May, waiting for this thread to be revived. I made a few minor changes to this draft before posting it, to bring it up to date.

Company Name: Royal Computer Entertainment of Saintland
Representative Name: Prince Andreas
Nation: Saintland
Previous Experiences with the Video Game Industry: We have produced the Saint, a technologically advanced handheld console and have produced a few games for the Saint.
Port of Call for Shipments: St. Paulus
Projected Annual Sales in Your Nation: 30 thousand
Comments: We used the complementary Titans during our BoF to scout our opposition. It is unfortunate that your Baptism of Fire LI game did not include Gordonopia as an option because it was highly realistic and helped us immensely in our preparation for our BoF opposition. That would have been helpful when we faced your national team in the Cup of Harmony a few months ago. Also, I hope that incident at the Olympics hasn't harmed relations between our countries.

Game Title: Prince of Saintland
Nation: Saintland
Developer: Royal Computer Entertainment of Saintland and RepublicSoft
Publisher: Royal Computer Entertainment of Saintland
Platform(s): Titan (home console exclusive), Saint (handheld console exclusive)
Genre: Open World Action RPG
Release Date: November 24th, 2013 (Saint version already out)
Game Summary: Somebody has stolen a precious relic from the St. Petrus Cathedral. Playing as an unnamed Prince of Saintland, you must travel across the world to defeat evildoers and return the relic to Saintland. Along the way, players will be able to customize their character and explore a vast open world. The Prince of Saintland will explore 17 different cities on his quest from 5 different nations and will also travel across the countryside of all of those nations. Players may also go online and join other Princes of Saintland for a compelling co-op multiplayer experience.

Design choices
Complexity level: High
Difficulty curve: Starts low, but gets progressively harder
Tutorial: Tutorial level based in Saintland
Multiplayer: Co-op multiplayer
Single-player/Multiplayer focus: The single-player mode is very deep, but the multiplayer adds even more replayability.
Design principle: Originally, Prince of Saintland was going to be a linear action game, but RepublicSoft recommended that it be made as a mixture of 2 genres that are very popular in the Federation of Free Republics. The final design plan is for an open world game where the player shoots evil foreigners and hunts monstrous beasts. Along the way, the Prince of Saintland may borrow a variety of vehicles to complete his missions faster. There will be numerous mini-games and diversions for players to do when they are tired of doing missions.

Self-Evaluation (Out of Five)
Gameplay: 5
Design: 4
Writing: 4
Replayability: 5
Graphics: 3

Media Information
Voice acting: Every major character has a unique voice actor plus 200 voice actors for pedestrians.
Overall voice acting quality: Decent.
Cutscenes: Lengthy cutscenes during missions
Overall cutscenes quality: Movie-quality
Gameplay/Cutscenes time ratio: During missions, cutscenes take up around a quarter of your time. Outside of missions, 100% gameplay.

Business Information
Downloadable or Retail: Both
Titan Exclusive or Multiplatform: Home Console exclusive
DRM: Online Pass
Recomended Vendor Price (USD): 70 USD
Company Representative: Prince Andreas

Your Royal Highness Prince Andreas,

Though we agree that tensions between United Gordonopia and Saintland were heightened during the recent Olympiad in Orean, we are willing to overlook any quarrels and approve your applications in an effort to warm relations. As the technology involved in the Titan in no way invokes a security risk to Gordonopia or her allies, nor could it be seen as selling supplies such as weapons or food to an unfriendly government, this is as good a start as any.

With regards to distribution rights, we are willing to knock a small amount off the typical fee, bringing it down to 650,000 USD annually, both as a gesture of good faith and because of the small volume anticipated in your nation. This is alongside the 280.00 USD charge for each console sold. As per usual, we are willing to take on the costs of shipping to St. Paulus, as well as setting up G-Connect infrastructure in your nation should it be permitted. We will also provide you with first and second party software, as well as a variety of marketing, media, and customer service literature digitally should you decide not to create your own. You might be pleased to know that among the titles published by Gordonopian Games are World Cup and UICA games, which will allow you to simulate both our national and club teams.

As for Prince of Saintland, we are willing to approve it on the caveat that any covert attempts at proselytizing, as were seen in Orean, be removed from the game, should they be there in the first place. While we are based in a nation with an established religion, and respect religious rights, it would be bad publicity for our company to license a title containing the very same proselytizing that we recently stood against. Gordonopian Games is a part of a state-run corporation, and as such must act with both its own public image and that of United Gordonopia in mind. That said, the game itself appears very intriguing, and we are more than happy to license it for the Titan using a reduced rate of 5% per copy, which in this case comes to 3.50 USD per copy. This is due to the fact that you have designated it as a home console exclusive for the Titan.

Again, we hope that this can go some way towards repairing relations between Gordonopia and Saintland.

Mr. Silversmith,

It is with great pleasure that we accept your company's application to allow Gordonopian Games to become the first video game distributor in Eduardastan!

As you should be aware, the cost of becoming a distributor for the console is one million USD per year, with an additional fee of 280.00 USD for each console sold. We will handle shipping to Port Petroleum and Port Helix, as well as the installation of G-Connect infrastructure, though the rest of the costs are up to you. To aid in distribution, we will send a library of digital marketing, media, and customer service materials.

We are sure that Eduardastan will readily take to the Titan!

Vushur Klakar,

It is to our delight that we accept your application to distribute the Titan in both Akimonad and Milograd.

As a gesture of good faith, we would like to alter the usual terms of agreement for a Regional Distribution Partner and allow ACMI to pay 1,000,000 USD per year total as opposed to per country. On top of the fee, we will require the standard 280.00 USD per console. We will provide shipments to Argyz, as well as infrastructure for the console's online network, but it is up to ACMI to distribute the console throughout the two countries and cover marketing and other costs. To assist you with the latter, we will provide a wealth of marketing, media, and customer service materials digitally.

We are thrilled to be working with such a prestigious corporation.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

Financial Report

Six months after launch, the Titan has been met with immense success.

Not only is it now the world's most widely distributed gaming console, with gamers in 37 countries having access, but it has generated tremendous revenue for the people of United Gordonopia.

Across console, software, accessory, and G-Connect sales, Gordonopian Games is proud to post over 870 billion USD in revenue over the past six months, with a net profit of nearly 320 billion USD. Gamers worldwide are taking to the Titan, with the console itself selling roughly 1.4 billion units since launch. By comparison, the Cronos Elite was available in only 20 countries by the Titan's launch, though the Titan has yet to pass up its total sales figures. The Titan's nearest current-gen competitor, the NIN Next, is currently on the market in 28 countries.

To put the profit generated into perspective, one must understand that most Gordonopian Games, and its parent IGC, profit not used for business growth is used to subsidize a number of loss-generating divisions. These divisions, namely Gordonopian Health Services, Crown Utilities, and Crown Foods Corporation, provide free or, in the case of the latter, subsidized healthcare, utilities, and food to Gordonopia's citizens. As the IGC is a state-run corporation, its profitability essentially covers a wide swath of Gordonopia's social safety net, leaving the government itself to cover other costs such as education and defense with taxes.

The expected annual profit from Gordonopian Games is enough to cover three months, a full season, of free electricity for every building in United Gordonopia. This calculation includes the costs of heating and air conditioning, which contribute substantially towards the total. When Gordonopian Games', a fraction of the whole, are combined with those of the entire IGC, one can see how much of a contribution it makes to the well-being of our Empire.

For the full six-month balance sheet, see here.

Mr. Miodrag,

We recently received a letter from your foundation soliciting aid, and it is regrettable that we must turn you down.

Declining your request is not because we inherently disagree with your mission, but rather because of the very nature of our company. Gordonopian Games is a division of the state-run Imperial Gordonopia Corporation, and as such is set up to function for the benefit of the people of Gordonopia. As opposed to most corporations, where profits go to private owners or shareholders, IGC profits feed directly into the well-being of Gordonopians. More commercial, internationalized divisions such as our own are used to subsidize loss-making divisions such as our health and utilities divisions, which provide free services to all in Gordonopia.

This encourages our company to run as efficiently and profitably as possible, for the best benefit of our home population, but also to avoid entangling ourselves outside Gordonopia. The economic system of Gordonopia is a unique socialist-mercantilist hybrid; as our leading corporations fall under the IGC umbrella, they need to both compete on the international market but also prevent money from leaving Gordonopia in order to fund domestic services. Thus far it has worked well for our Empire, with the standard of living through a wide social net and high minimum wage coupled with relatively low taxes, but if we were to donate heavily to foreign interests, including charities, our own obligations at home would be neglected.

While we do donate to some charities in Gordonopia, mostly via in-kind gifts, 'good corporate citizenship' holds a very different meaning for Gordonopian Games than for firms in the private sector.

To whom it may concern,

I must admit to my great disappointment upon initially discovering your rejection of our donation request. However upon further reading of your company's and indeed your governments operations I am forced to acknowledge that your corporate structure, while somewhat unique, is seemingly designed for the betterment of the citizens of your nation.

As such I would like to wish you well in your operations and hope to have an opportunity to work together at another time in the future,

Sincerely,

decides to send the best fighter that currently studies under his school's roof. However, thanks to multiple
walk-outs, Cassandra won the dispute to prove it and is now their representative at the tournament.

DAVID Cork
From: Connery, Midlothian Heart

Bio: David never had a good life. An orphan that survived only of charity, David was always a weakling, often
being robbed of the little he would earn and so on. That was until a good lady started to help and protect him
once. He became inspired by her to become a fighter and finally protect himself from everything. Now, years later,
David enters the tournament to find the woman and repay her favor.

J-KAT
From: Tokyoto, Northern Sunrise Islands

Bio: Once known as "Queen of the Rudies", J-Kat was now a common rollerblader, picking the shards of her old legacy
after one of her dangerous moves somehow took the life of a policeman, put her on jail and somehow made her vanish
from the face of the Northern Sunrise Islands while she was at prison. Now, roaming without any idea of what to do
after being free, she finds out about the tournament and decides to enter it, expecting to use her wish to go
back to that day and save her legacy from ruin.

KATY Sigh
From: Saddle Falls, Northern Sunrise Islands

Bio: An once renowned artist, Katy finally married her boyfriend from her youth, Walter. Sadly, on the way to their
honeymoon, their car crashed and Walter did not survive the accident. Heartbroken, Katy no longer felt that she
was alive, specially thanks to the lack of her lover to aid her. Now, a shard of the original Katy, she continued her
life, emotionless, day after day. Until she found out about the tournament and the wish. Somehow, she knew that the
tournament would solve her problems, either by bringing Walter back or by taking her to him.

MESAINA Thalasuurung
From: Bisonpolis, Bisolandia

Bio: Like all teenage girls of Bisolandia, Mesaina was once a planned member of the national dictator's personal
army, the Dolls, brainwashed fighters that would protect their leader even if it meant their own deaths. However,
Mesaina would escape on the right moment at a boat that would lead to Steelport, Northern Sunrise Islands, where
she would then, without any choice, join the ranks of the Third Street Saints. Many years later after joining,
Mesaina was now a powerful member of the gang, but couldn't help but to desire the death of that same dictator
that forced her out. Instead of doing it the logical way, Mesaina decided to join the tournament, in the hopes
that she would be able to beat her old leader and release the people of her land from his manipulation.

NAYUMI Hikoji
From: Koga, Northern Sunrise Islands

Bio: A young nekonian maid, Nayumi is looking for her Master, who disappeared years ago and left her, as a

Dear Mr. Almeida,

We are very excited that you have applied to deliver the Titan its first fighting game! Though the console has not been long on the market, the fighting genre is one that has been sorely missed. With such a great studio behind it, we are sure that it will be a huge hit.

As you are surely aware, the cost for putting a multiplatform title on the Titan is 10% of retail per unit, which in this instance would be 3.50 USD. We would like to ask, though, whether there is any multiplayer element of the game, namely an online component. If so, that will affect how much capacity we set up for the game on GConnect.

We are very happy to be able to continue our relationship with your fine company.
If you ever have an RPing question, please TG me about it.

Games

Game Title: Zhertva iz Svitova (Lzher); Day of the Damned (Common)
Developer: Kraszrinya Dizdatel
Publisher: Drudar Lobine Igrokhine
Platform(s): Murayev 4; Titan
Genre: Top-down shooter/roguelike [a hybrid of Contra and the Binding of Isaac]
Release Date: July 21st, 2109
Game Summary: It's 2293 and the Rapture has come. The holy have ascended to Heaven and the rest of the human race have been left to their own devices as the apocalypse closes in and Satan's forces have begun to mass in preparation for their invasion. But are you going to go down without a fight? HELL NO. You play as Sergeant Igor Mendeleev as he aims to survive, kill as many of Hell's army as he can and if he fights long and hard enough...throw down against the big dogs themselves.

Complexity level: Low. The game is very straight-forward - you play as a lone soldier and damn near everything you meet wants to kill you. Like most roguelikes, you die early and often but new weapons, skills and attributes are unlocked the further you manage to go in one life, and carry over into future lives. There is a degree of moral choice involved - the player will often encounter other groups of humans and can choose to kill them for immediate gain, spare them at no cost or benefit or defend them for potential future gain.
Difficulty curve: Extreme. As a roguelike, you are expected to die often and as the game is ruled almost entirely by chance, taking certain missions while using certain weapons, particular skills or even just taking a certain mission can result in unavoidable death.
Tutorial: None. You are expected to learn by trial and error.
Multiplayer: None.
Single-player/Multiplayer focus: Entirely single-player, in a brave move on the part of Kraszrinya
Design principle: The aim was to introduce console gamers to the roguelike. Although very much not everybody's cup of tea, fans of the roguelike tend to be extremely dedicated fans and even if it only grabs a small percentage of the console market, that small percentage is likely to stick with Kraszrinya. The availability of DLC was mandated by Yuvel Koron in an attempt to alleviate that - those who want to play the game but are turned off by the extreme difficulty have the option of purchasing DLC to unlock things ahead of time.

Gameplay: 9/10 - "...the truth is that, although Zhertva is extremely difficult, it is impossible to describe the sense of accomplishment it can offer you. The first time you even reach the fallen angel Mephistopheles you will be proud of yourself, because you will have racked up a body count well into the triple digits and outfought, outsmarted or outwitted a game that, at times, seems to want you to suffer."
Design: 7/10 - "Generally strong throughout, although there are going to be times in every gamer's experience where they stop and think to themselves 'Is it really even worth carrying on?', and that is a dangerous question for any video game to make the player face."
Writing: 5/10 - "...the core premise is sound but, even though a game like this doesn't have much need for a strong plot, the developers appear to have written up a broad-strokes backstory and called it a day."
Replayability: 10/10 - "With everything in the game subject to the whims of the random number God, no two playthroughs will ever be the same, and Mephistopheles is just one of seven potential bosses to face off against. And there are more than those seven in the game - seven is just the number we've managed to find so far."
Graphics: 8/10 - "...though not something to tax the M4's graphical capability, Zhertva offers some nicely detailed environments and crisp, clean character designs that hold up even when the screen is full to the brim with projectiles."

Media Information
Voice acting: Only the main character is voiced, although the sheer depth and variety of the lines is notable, with a quote for almost any situation.
Cutscenes: One cutscene at the beginning of the game provided backstory, and each boss is introduced with a short scene. Strong work from the designers.
Gameplay/Cutscenes time ratio: Cutscenes will take up next to no time, and are entirely skippable.

Downloadable or Retail: Retail, with additional downloadable content available.
Titan Exclusive or Multiplatform: Multi-platform. Kraszrinya are producing the game for the Murayev 4 as well as the Titan
DRM: None.
Recomended Vendor Price (USD): $45, with additional costs for downloadable content.
Company Representative: For Kraszrinya, COO Radoslav Skopintsev. For DLI, Head of International Development Gustav Filinov.

Game Title: Statogrekh (Lzher); Sin: New Advent (Common)
Developer: Yuvel Koron
Publisher: Yuvel Koron
Platform(s): Murayev 4; Voypokorn Prazlech; Titan
Genre: Old-school, old-fashioned 2D fighter
Release Date: October 4th, 2109
Game Summary: Betcha didn't think Good vs. Evil was going to be this brutal! Virtue and Vice throw down to sway humanity to their side, claim some souls and just have a good, old-fashioned bundle. Pick your poison - play as one of the seven sins or the seven virtues and carve your way through the opposing side like they just insulted your momma! And if you run out of computer players to batter senseless, go online and see how you fare against the world's best fighting game players!

Complexity level: Medium-low. As a fighting game, there is a ceiling on how complex it could possibly be, but when one goes beyond the basic attacks and special moves, the combo system is very tricky to master.
Difficulty curve: Low/very high. If playing entirely against the computer, a decent player will find that it is no longer a challenge reasonably quickly and be expected to progress to playing online. Once there, the difficulty curve spikes, purely because even the hardest computer players are still computers and can be nowhere near as ingenious or shifty as a strong human player.
Tutorial: Training Mode is offered and recommended.
Multiplayer: Online offers a variety of multiplayer modes.
Single-player/Multiplayer focus: Heavily on multiplayer.
Design principle: The design team were more or less locked away with their favourite old-school fighters and told to come up with something that retained their ethos but that looked approximately a billion times nicer. That's about it.

Gameplay: 9/10
