About C.E.I.
Commoner Energy Incorporated or C.E.I. for short (sometimes "Commoner Energies"), is a large energy production and distribution company based out of the TECT mainland. It is the largest energy distributor in the country and spans globally as a major supplier of energy and energy products/services to customers around the world. C.E.I. is most famous for its strong oil production and distribution, what the company was founded on, during the late 1800's. Today it not only sells oil and oil based products, but also sells bio fuels, green technology, coal, natural gas, other fuels, and services to countries (and others) around the world. The corporation was founded in 1882 by Dieter Eichmann, a small skinny fellow who realized the worth of oil and corporate organization. By 1890, his company produced over 25 million barrels yearly as the oil boom continued to grow in TECT.
The oil boom brought the company to the height of industry and the great oil boom. Multiple companies fought for decades to control a monopoly of oil production; C.E.I. came out on top of this struggle and still leads the market in energy distribution and production. With the death of Eichmann in 1921, the company was taken over by the share holders that formed a board of directors to keep the company growing. Without the industrial genius of Eichmann, the company began to suffer throughout the 30's through 50's. A man named Wesley T. Crawford was eventually named CEO of the company in 1962; he brought a new age of marketing and brilliance to the industry not seen since Eichmann's death in the 20's. Crawford was a major game changer in making C.E.I. a global oil producer and improved marketing for the company. He was so good at manipulating the oil market that the market itself reacted to Wesley's company moves. He today is formally known as the "Oil Well" because of his ingenious marketing techniques that brought in much earnings and influence around the world for the oil company.
Just like Dieter Eichmann however, Crawford's time would come to an end. Crawford died of a severe heart attack in 1991 at the age of 62; he was always known for his heart problems and he even cursed that it would be the end of him one day. His successor, Thomas L. Wright, is another individual that brought C.E.I. into the future. Wright is known as the "Energies Extender" famously because of his outreach into other energy markets that brought C.E.I. out of its comfort zone of oil into new and different sources of energy. Natural gas, solar power, nuclear, and windmills were all brain child ideas of Wright to use for his company -- bringing C.E.I. not only into other markets but expanding the company's reach even greater. It took C.E.I. time to master the other energy markets but it now keeps modernized in the techniques of gathering energy and doing it safely too. It was extremely radical and dangerous during the time for an all oil company to work in new fields, especially in the green sector -- completely unheard of. It's job listing now rose with the gathering of new professions and it's services department now serves to operate power stations, nuclear reactor plants, oil wells, marketing, and much more. A large distributor in energy products, C.E.I. signs large delivery orders to supply its customers annually. At the age of 50, Wright currently is CEO and head of the board of directors of Commoner Energies. C.E.I. continues to branch off into the world expanding its business in both renewable fuels and green technology sources of energy, along with its fossil fuels and nonrenewable fuels.
Corporation Heads
Founder: Dieter Eichmann (1855-1921)
Dieter Eichmann is the founder of Commoner Energy Incorporated and the father of modern TECT energy industry. Born on March 3rd of 1855, he grew up in a small town outside the city of Common Hub in a farming family. By age 15, he was fed up with nothing but farming and farmland he was forced to work; having no desire to farm anymore, he ran away moving to Common Hub to start a new life for himself as a proud worker. To his surprise the worker's life was just as hard and stale as farming was, with the only main difference being the end product. Payment was something new however that he enjoyed like a small child and a new toy. He realized his true dream was earning money and doing it through company work. Inspired by recent oil well reports and his factory job making cars, Dieter wanted to become the first oil tycoon in TECT history. Although he mite technically not be, Eichmann became the first major oil tycoon in TECT history using the organization skills he learned on the farms and the industry lines of his years in factories. He organized followers and bought oil rich land, planting wells on them, and making fiends in the steel business in order to win favor for supplies and allies. Founding C.E.I. in 1882, he would become known as both the "Emperor of Oil" and "Father of Modern Energy Industry" in TECT and would be recognized as the first oil tycoon in TECT history.
CEO: Thomas L. Wright
Thomas L. Wright also known in his industry as the "Extender", Wright is the Chief Executive Officer and head board member of the board of directors. Known as a modernizer like his predecessor, Wright's major mark on the company is his extension into other markets for which his nickname derives from. His branching into other sources of energy was unheard of by oil companies of the past nor today and has brought much success for C.E.I. over the years. He is still CEO today and continues to keep the company as far ahead of competition as possible.
COO: Raymond J. Coffman
Raymond J. Coffman a slender 53yr old board member of C.E.I. is the current Chief Operations Officer. A major player and board member from Crawford's time as CEO, Coffman is an experienced COO that has helped bring expansion of the company in numerous countries and regions.
CFO: William S. Bearden
William S. Bearden is the Chief Financial Officer of C.E.I. and manages over most financial situations. Bearden was an addition to the company from a former rival in the oil business by CEO Thomas Wright. Managing financial aspects of the company, Bearden is a budget and economic wizard in the oil business and now for C.E.I. operations. Bearden has always kept finances leveled and works with his colleagues on proposals for pricing and other economics for the company.
