The denial was based on the premise that much of the equipment requested by the Lolomz Armed Forces contains stringent export restrictions requiring an appropriate security clearance. During a hearing before a joint Congressional committee on foreign military sales, proponents of the contract were unable to secure aforementioned security clearance for Lolomz. Prime concerns cited by members of Congress were the inability to ensure secure and constructive use by Lolomz security forces of the defense materiel requested.

The sale of the requested defense materiel could potentially lead to significant unintended consequences, both political and hypothetical, that we would much prefer to avoid. However, the U.R. defense industry is open to export items with looser export restrictions.

Additionally, the United Republic Army is fully aware of concerns regarding the setup. The controversy described in your message was outlined in the MPBAS product description. Although information about almost all foreign military sales by the United Republic are available as per the U.R. Freedom of Information Act, this particular order will remain classified for the next fifty years as per customer request.

The F-31 simply contains technologies and equipment far too advanced and sophisticated for civilian sales, as it would endanger lives and security across a significant area. Having dominated markets for precious resources in the past, we can offer payment in Kredits, Rhodium, Platinum, Gold, Silver or, due to our technological achievements, a Domestic Production License for the new hyper-light material known Nano-Mesh, it features a high temperature resistance and is as durable as steel. Hopefully, you take our offer into consideration, we truly need to expand.
