Our libaries are well equipped with the latest books ranging from fairy tales, action-adventure, to historical happenings in the country the library is in. The libraries are modern filled with computers, audio files and tape-players. But before renting a book why don't you view it first in it's benchmark reading area able to contain almost 500 people as in the picture below Image As you can see the library suits many people, and has the ability to stay open 24 hours a day depending on the staff. These libraries are starting at, 300,000 with a 10,000 annual fee. The projected income of one library is set to be 25K a year giving you 15K profit it can have a maximum staff of 50 including guards, sorters, tellers and advisers.. Also in larger cities it is possible to place a larger library and our smaller custom Corner Library.
The corner style library is economically efficient while not containing as many books as the larger variant it can support up to 250 books ranging from Action-Adventure to Modern day sports. This library contains a smaller selection of books and it can contain about 15 people as in the picture below.
Image
This library costs 3,500, its running expenses are 500 per year at the least 750 if it is in a horrible neighborhood due to having to replace books from theft and defacement. This library makes about 1,000 per year giving you a 500 to 250 profit. This library variant is for smaller towns, not metropolises or cities. It the smaller towns of Newborn Russia it has made up to 1,500 with the town's population being 470. Cardiaco Trading Company is hoping to see your business soon for your educational and children sake!
Sincerely,

To: Cardiaco Trading Management
From: The Ministry of Education

To whom it may concern,
We would like to purchase 5 large libraries, 3 to be placed in our capital Lazuril and 2 in our city of Altaris. We would also like to purchase 25 corner libraries to be built in the countryside. We will pick the designated buildings that will be converted into libraries

$1,587,500 will be wired upon confirmation

Thank you,
Signed,
Ruth Arnet
Head of the Ministry of Education

(OOC: We assume your providing the equipment and renovation costs, otherwise the price you're giving will be too cheap.)

OOC: Why would somebody buy a library for 3500 if they're only gonna "make" 500?

OOC: Because, over time, there would supposedly be a profit. I kind of suspect that NBR doesn't know how libraries work though, seeing as how they're not for profit and usually operate at a loss.

OOC: Depends on the government, usually you have to buy cards and they really arent cheap. Libraries do bring in money overtime if you have enough readers

OOC: Only if people don't return their books, but do pay their late fees. And most libraries I've been to give cards for free. Though I suppose that, yes, it would depend on how your nation is attempting to run their libraries.
