Welcome to King Georges Alban the Great International Airport (KGA) in Silar Demesne, Silar. Named for Silar's first Monarch, KGA lies just beyond the western city limit of Silar Demesne, Silar's capital city. KGA is owned by the Silaran Monarchy is the civilian counterpart of the Royal Silaran State Airport.
At 5,000 acres, 900 of which are covered by the central terminal building, KGA is the largest civilian airport in Silar. It hosts 8 terminals with over 130 gates in its central building. There is over 25 miles of taxi lanes and 9 miles of runway with 500,000 square feet of cargo warehousing and 150 hangers (100 single plane, 50 four plane). There are numerous transits and taxis to Silar Demesne's local lodging and businesses.

Security
Pursuant to air security legislation, the Silaran Royal Police have a mandatory search of all persons and baggage being brought into the terminal area of our central terminal building. You will be asked to present your baggage to an x-ray search and pass through a metal detector at the police checkpoint. Please note the following items which are either not permitted or have restriction placed upon them. Prohibited items will be confiscated at the checkpoint.

Bladed or sharp objects (including toys that resemble such items)
Firearms or ammunition of any kind (including toys which resemble such items)
Blunt weapons
Pepper spray/mace
Explosive materials or devices
Compressed gases (medical exception for those requiring oxygen. Present a doctor's note)
Radioactive materials
Alcohol (May be purchased once past security or on flight)
Restricted Items:
Liquids and gels -- Up to 100 ml per passenger, no alcohol
Food -- Any full solid (no gels, soups, sauces, etc.) allowed, non-solid foods fall under liquids rule
Wrapped gifts -- Will be individually metal detector wanded, may be searched
All items may be transported via checked luggage (with the exception of explosive materials, radioactive materials, and compressed gases) but they must be declared when checking luggage. All checked luggage will be put through a radioactivity detector and may be subject to search.
We ask that you not accept luggage from strangers. Unattended luggage may be subject to search and seizure. Food and drink, including alcohol, will be available in the business courts beyond checkpoints and will not be subject to the above restrictions.
Incoming international travelers will be asked to pass a customs checkpoint. Please have your passport and visa information ready for the customs agents.

Please note that Silaran law prohobits the transport and store of recreational drugs, military-grade weapons and explosives (unless under government contract), and weapons-grade radioactive material. Such materials illegally transported or stored at KGA will be seized by the Royal Police.
We also are pleased to host businesses in our airport business court. Please note that all businesses will be expected to abide by Silaran law. All recreational drugs are prohibited. Minor alcohol (beers/ales/etc. and wine) are available to all over 16, hard alcohol and spirits to all over 21. Weapons sales will not be allowed in the airport courts due to security concerns.
