Our most conservative Super Terrain Vehicle, the Kancile Vixen, combines engineering magnificence with unmatched craftsmanship. The vehicle is both exotic and practical. The Kancile Vixen uses a 6.6 liter, V8 turbo engine producing 360 horsepower and 650 foot pounds of torque. It is encased in a 3/16 inch 4130 Chromolly monocoque design that yields an overall vehicle weight of approximately 5,900 pounds.

Titanium Monocoque

Titanium Monocoque
The Kancile's uses a titanium monocoque chassis design. A monocoque design is the lightest and strongest method of construction known. Aluminum is the oldest and most widely used material and now carbon fiber composite is replacing it in most high-end race cars and aircraft. Titanium was used because of its strength, light weight, repairability, and most importantly, its ability to deform under severe impacts and remain functional unlike composites that break away to absorb impacts. The last thing a Kancile's driver wants is to be several hours from civilization, have an accident and an undrivable vehicle. Military studies have shown that titanium is the best ballistic base material to composite from. The Kancile's is the first and only vehicle to use a full titanium monocoque in production; ever.

Drivetrain

Corda-drive™ Transaxle
The transaxle design is called the Corda-drive™ . The Corda-drive™ is an existing patent held by Kancile's Vehicles, but there are new technologies added to the original design. The design is simpler, smaller in size, and much more powerful. The The Corda-drive™ is designed to handle 2,500 foot pounds of engine torque; this is unprecedented in a transmission of this size.

Clutch System
The clutch system changes everything you know about clutches. First it does not use friction as a control medium. Second, it will engage, disengage, or slip at any rate of engagement for hours without failing or over heating. Third, it can control the output rotations extremely precisely right down to repeatable fractions of a revolution. Fourth, in can be, controlled electrically and directly by a computer without any mechanical assistance required.

Corda-T™
Corda-T™ is an electronic control system that controls the four clutches that apply power to each of the wheels. This control system can vary the power, independently, to each of the wheels from zero to 100 percent in real time. As an example, as a vehicle approaches a corner, more power can be applied to the rear wheels to push a vehicle into the corner then power can be shifted to the front of the vehicle pulling it out the corner. Power can also be applied from the left side of the vehicle to right, to prevent binding or bias from taking place in the turn and help steer the vehicle through the turn. This system works both in the application of power and reduction of power. Corda-T™ works in harmony with the brake system.

Corda-Colt™ V7 engine

Engine
The Kancile can use any engine format it wants, so why was a diesel power plant selected? Because the Kancile needs to service three extremely different disciplines without one compromise, diesel power was the only engine with the horsepower and torque characteristics that could do so. Looking at diesel performance, remember that Audi and Peugeot's diesel-powered Le Mans racecars beat all of the gas powered competitors, combined, for the last four years straight. Performance, when speaking about engines, is a measure of its ability to produce usable power, and lots of it, at a usable rpm. The new diesels, with the recently rediscovered compound turbo charging, high-pressure direct-port fuel injection, and state-of-the-art computerized engine control, produce massive amounts of usable power and get greater fuel mileage in the process. The Kancile produces 1,100 horsepower and can still get greater than 20 miles per gallon; this is a feat that cannot be accomplished by any known gasoline engine. What makes the diesel power plant even more attractive is its ability to be just as drivable as a stock diesel while making these enormous power figures.

To make a monster like this reliable requires the bottom end to be stronger than normal. The Kancile uses an aerospace double-vacuum-melted alloy steel billet crank shaft and rods, special alloy pistons, with a proprietary partial vapor-deposition coating that dramatically reduces friction and wear. Other Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings are also used on the valve train and camshaft. PVD coatings increase the critical components service life and reduce friction increasing the engines overall efficiencies and power output. The push-to-pass technology has two missions: the first is to increase overall power with the push of a button and the second is to reduce emissions, with computer controlled actuation, at key moments, during normal engine's operation. This is an engine with no challengers.

The Kancile was designed with an emphasis on ergonomics; your comfort is a priority. There is one major new concept that stands out from the rest of the creature comforts. The vehicle was designed with the philosophy that the driver's head and eyes should be placed in the ideal seating position. Today's vehicles move the driver to the controls which make it nearly impossible to get all of the controls in the perfect position. The Kancile moves steering wheel and pedals to you ensuring that the most comfortable position is achieved. At Kancile Vehicles we do not believe in compromising your position.

Console

SpaceStar™ console

The console is like nothing you have ever seen before. Every aspect of the console, like the rest of the vehicle, was designed from a blank sheet of paper. The focus is comfort and accessibility. All of the controls are located within your reach. Each control has a unique feel which allows you to keep your eyes on the road.

The massive touch screen displays are sized and located to make it easy for you to transition your sight from the road, to them, and back again. The driver's display can be viewed as it is, or in bad weather, the gauges can be hid allowing a single camera view to take over the screen. This is a huge advantage driving at night if you have the thermal vision option; you will be able to drive the vehicle from the screen alone. Each of the other touch screens can display the internet, camera views, navigation directions, your mobile media or any of the satellite features if those options are selected.

The driver and passenger have independent climate controls, USB data ports and laptop stations. The USB data ports are mounted inside watertight compartments big enough for an I-Pod or similar sized device. The data connected to these USB ports, such as music or movies, can then be displayed on the touch screens. The passenger can watch a movie with their headphones on while the driver listens to music.

And what would an exotic machine like this be if it were not watertight? That's right; you can open the door and flood the inside of the Kancile without causing any damage. Of course this would not be a good idea if you've chosen the leather interior option, but the standard vehicle is designed to be waterproof.

Kancile Condor™ Seat

Seating
The Kancile is equipped with seats that redefine comfort. Each seat has an air suspension, heating, large lateral supports, and is wrapped in the latest hi-tech waterproof materials. The seat has six points of adjustment that allow you to find the ideal seating position. You will no longer have to search the sides of the seat as these controls are mounted, in clear view, on the console. Safety is a primary concern which is why these seats are fitted with five-point inertial-reel harnesses.

Kancile Verax™ Steering system

Steering Wheel
The steering wheel will make you feel like you're inside of a formula one race car with its formed grips and numerous controls. We believe that you should not have to take your hands off the wheel so we have brought the driving controls to you. These controls are strategically mounted to minimize your hand movement. The wheel also features something that has never been seen before; D-pad controls. These controls are located in such a way that you will not need to move your hands while manipulating the attitude and ride height of the vehicle.

Kancile Vixen-Warlord™ is a vehicle built specifically for the military. There is not much that can be disclosed about the Warlord. What can be said is that the Kancile Vixen-Warlord™ is a light weight armored vehicle with tremendous performance capabilities. Kancile Vixen-Warlord™ Vehicle's

Kancile supplies armored Kancile Vixen-Warlord to the Moorburgh Army

The Moorburgh Ministry of Defense has confirmed it has placed an order for the Vixen-Warlord, Super Terrain Vehicles- Armoured (STV-A). Kancile Concept Car Ltd, designer of the Vixen-Warlord, will act as prime contractor with the "KMS" company serving as main subcontractor.

The contract is valued at about $44M.

The Vixen-Warlord is a Super Terrain Vehicles- Armoured (STV-A) built on the frame of a 4X4 Kancile commercial vehicle with an automatic gearbox. The armour envelope is built independently from the chassis, so it is possible to use the same armour envelope on another chassis (of the same model) when the chassis goes out of service. By modifying the interior section of the Vixen-Warlord, it is possible to change the function of the vehicle; i.e. to an ambulance, rescue vehicle, logistics or command vehicle.
