The bulk of this time will be taken up by the Future haul truck which will be shipped to Terra Des Gaules in a series of containers part built, with final assembly taking place on the jobsite where the future haul trucks are intended to be used, this is because they are too large for transportation by road in a fully completed status.

Coming from Neu Engollon will be the Mjolnir 25RX models, a delivery which will take aproximately 8 calendar days, these will be first to arrive in Terra des Gaules, and will be followed by the electrical generators which will be coming by sea in shipping containers.

Constructed from light weight carbon fibre and epoxy composite materials and designed to bring the fun and enjoyment of aviation to the masses, the Scorpion is a light weight 2 seat high wing monoplane with amphibous capability meaning that even if you do not have access to a runway, you can still get access to flight as the Scorpion can take off and land on water as well as a tarmac or grass runway.

Part of the key to the Scorpion for easy access to flight is that each aircraft is sold with a trailer for transport, so when you have finished flying and have returned to your point of initial departure, you can put the Scorpion back on its trailer and being the aircraft back to your garage or hangar space, wings fully folded. Folding the wings is as easy as turning a key, a large lever is located on the rear bulkhead that operates the system, though interlocks prevent the system operating with the engine running, or preventing the engine from starting with the wings folded.

Power for the Scorpion is provided by a 4 cylinder air cooled sleeve valve gasoline engine that is capable of operating on traditional automotive gasoline or aviation gasoline, or a mix of the two, as the sensor in the exhaust system works in conjunction with the aircraft ECU to maintain optimum combustion, whilst fuel injection provides economical fuel consumption at all altitudes up to 15,000ft, the maximum capable atitude of the Scorpion, though regulations currenly permit flights to a maximum height of 10,000ft.

Grand Water, since 1961, has been a port to serve the Grand Northern region in The Republic of Woodstead- especially in the city adjacent, Oppidum. The Seaports and Airports Group was once a quasi-governmental authority but has since been privatised into separate companies- with Grand Northern Ports Authority (GNPA) acquiring Grand Water and other airports and seaports across the conurbation of Grand Northern.

In 2007, Grand Water’s own Steedcraft Motors Group plant closed after the 2006 privatisation and sale of stock and production rights abroad to smaller manufacturers. This has left 4,200 full and part time workers, from administration to assembly, out of employment- many have had to leave Oppidum, take minimum wage, or even end up on the streets as the automotive industry has crumbled along with other primary and secondary industries.

The Oppidum plant is the largest Steedcraft ever operated. 40,000 square metres of ground floor space in the main building; an adjacent office building over 4 floors (2,400 square metres); a large staff car park for 1,900 cars (locals usually rely on car-share, mass transit, or cycling); sufficient loading areas with parking for new vehicles in holding. This plant sounds great for your needs, however, Oppidum City Council and GNPA have cooperated in paying for serious upgrades from the crumbling masonry, to energy efficient architecture- to the tune of up to $22.5 million, on the condition that Diamond Star would like to operate here.

Please do consider that many ex-workers now find themselves in hard times and many more 14-19 year olds attend part-time or full-time college courses which are suited to the manual labour, and Oppidum City Council conducted surveys to show that 12% of school leavers would like some administration and customer services work. Diamond Star Automotive could revive Oppidum.
We would therefore wish for you to consider the plant in Oppidum, as a new centre for production for all varieties of your light vehicles rang, excluding Erebus. We are also interested in the possibility of producing the Sirius at Grand Water.

In addition, we can also offer you newly built dealership along our boundary on a major commercial street in Oppidum- we feel that this would mean a great intake of local goods. The Union Canal has been necessarily widened for transporting light vehicles (up to around 10 units) across the country, or even out along the coast.

I have personally have had heated conversations with officials in the Office for Motor Vehicles and Road Travel to promote the manufacturing of Astyrian automobiles across the nation- not just on our own turf, and I have the Economic Affairs Minister’s word that he will get some dealerships up and running one way or another- possibly by speaking to high profile investors to develop sufficient spaces.

To turn down the offer of a ready built factory would be a mistake, as such Diamond Star would like to formally accept this offer, however the range of products will however change from producing cars to producing light and medium commercial vehicles as Diamond Star is due to start producing a medium sized commercial van in the forthcoming months.

As well as the new Van, Diamond Star would also like to begin production of our M-series vehicles, such as the Magnox and Mjolnir as well as the ever popular DS900 series. If possible, there would also be the potential for expansion as we are currently developing a new twin-cam V12 to replace our sleeve valve engines, this engine is currently in the development stage and has 2 running prototypes undergoing field tests, if this engine proves successful, it will first be offered in the DS900 and Mjolnir range in the 19.1 litre, then filter down through the range, eventually replacing the VLT range of engines.

The Dominance trailer combination is offered as a set, featuring one lead trailer and one or more drawbar trailer, each trailer is available in a number of lengths from 12m to 16m and heights from 4.0m to 4.3m depending on local legislation.

Chassis
Each of the Dominance trailers is constructed from a stainless steel chassis for improved corrosion resistance, down the length of the trailer are two C-section rails, each one fabricated from 10mm thick material, these are joined by 6 cross beams which support the auxiliary air tanks. The rear of the lead trailer is fitted with a ringfeder type 360 hitch that allows the lead trailer and any following drawbar trailer to roll independently of each other, this gives an inherently high degree of roll stability safety as should the trailing trailer roll over, the leading trailer will remain upright.

Brakes and Suspension
As with all diamond star trailers, Dominance trailers are equipped with air suspension and Electronic ABS disc brakes, with the draw bar trailer also equipped with a pneumatic anti-snake system, ensuring that the trailer will always follow true to its leading trailer. the lead trailer is also fitted with a lift system on no1 axle, whilst the drawbar unit is equipped with a lift system on the lead and trailing axle of the front bogie, and a lift system on the trailing axle of the rear axle grouping.

Enhanced stability system
Drawbar trailers with turntables have previously been prone to snaking caused by a multitude of factors, this has been a problem with shorter drawbar trailers with a single front axle, such as pups riding a converter dolly, well Dominance has the answer to this. The lead truck, available in 2 or 3 axle configuration has a slew ring that links it to the front of the chassis rather than a converter dolly, this is the first part of the enhanced stability system. Linking the rotating part of the slew ring which unusually is the outside of the ring are two pneumatic rams which are linked together by a hose, in the middle of the connection is a valve which is has 3 ports, the first port is a pressure feed, allowing air to feed the system, the other 2 ports allow air to flow to each ram. In the core of this connector is a valve which closes down when required, restricting airflow between the rams.

As speed increases the valve partially closes, reducing the ability for air to move between the two rams, this restriction prevents the latteral oscilation of the trailer, so no matter how it runs, it will not oscilate. The second issue with turntable drawbars has traditionally been the jack knife, again the 3 axle front dolly provides a restriction to that as the more axles on an axle set there is, the more stable the set will ride, however the anti-oscilation system here has a duty too, as during an emergency stop when the brakes are pushed on hard, the valve closes up completely, causing the rams to be locked up, preventing the trailer from wanting to push the dolly around. This means that the trailer will brake true rather than want to cause the entire combination to concertina. The Dominance lead trailer can be specified to have an anti-jack knife kingpin system, further enhaning the safety of the combination

Flooring

Each of the Dominance trailers comes fitted with Wisa-Deck high-grip GRP laminated plywood flooring. Wisadeck flooring sheets are 2500mm x 1250mm x 25mm, this material provides a high degree of grip which helps to ensure that loads do not slide around the trailer, and persons engages in the act of loading or unloading are not at risk of injury due to slipping. This flooring can be suplemented by alloy diamond-plate for added durability. Options include recessed load restraints for cargo restraint, either with straps or spring-lock bars.

For the Management of Diamond Star Automotive,

It is with great pleasure that I write to you today, as Prime Minister of The Republic of Woodstead. I am delighted that Diamond Star Automotive will be employing up-and-coming qualified people, as well as the experienced and redundant after the disastrous closure of the Steedcraft Motors Group plant once in its place. Diamond Star Automotive would dominate the share of auto-mobile manufacturing within our nation at well over 80%. Of course, that is just one achievement of more.

Months ago, the National Government ordered Diamond Star Automotive cars to upgrade the fleet of cars for ministers, security officials, and myself along with the President. They have been in use for a few months, and the chauffeurs are most impressed by this purchase: slow and diligent, tight and fierce is the common type of response I get. Ministers, myself, and the President all find the ride to be comfortable. Generous deductions to the tune of 20% were made which is appreciated by myself and the taxpayers, I am sure.

Not to mention that on the same day, we requested police vehicles from the Diamond Star Automotive, and standards have done anything other than slip. Authorities have reported excellent handling in pursuits which really meant a lot given the blizzards in December 2013 across the nation. The Police have forwarded me their gratitude.

Diamond Star Automotive was, from 2012, crucial to grocery shopping, as Savemiles Retail Group used a rejuvenated fleet of the Prometheus model. It was also, at the time, one of the largest vehicles to frequent Woodstead, and so Diamond Star Automotive forced us to widen and upgrade major thoroughfares, which has brought more excellent opportunities.

Diamond Star Automotive, in summary, has enhanced or will enhance Woodstead in many ways- employment, services to politicians, game-changers for unnavigable roads, and an excellent tie we feel we should share as distant neighbour across the pond. Diamond Star Automotive is good for Astyria, and it is good for us.

I therefore award this business with the new Warranted Status title, in which we will be inclined to use Diamond Star Automotive more and more- maybe even solely if no competitors reach a benchmark that this company has set. It also allows any operations in Woodstead to receive reductions for Inland Revenue.

It comes with great pleasure to recieve this prestigious accolade, though the honour is not merely mine, but belongs to the team of dedicated and loyal employees that work for the Diamond Star company under me, I can with all honesty say that the workforce who built your products will be honoured to hear of the recieving of this accolade.

As we have discontinued the legacy Prometheus 1 model, the replacement will be the Mjolnir 18RX and Mjolnir 25RX, these models will also be produced in Woodstead, alongside the DS900. If your nation permits double trailer operations, Diamond Star will begin construction of the Dominance and the B-train Lead trailer at the new plant in Grand Water.
