Imperial Civil War - Lord Spears commanded a brigade of the Earl of Lopenfort's infantry during the early stages of the war. Though he missed the Battle of Nabury, he served with distinction at the Battle of Shaffenstein where his brigade held the far right of the Imperial Army. Helped cover the army's retreat the First Battle of Merton and managed to lead his brigade out of the chaotic Battle of Lopenfort in time to join the Duke of Gestoria's counterattack. At the Second Battle of Merton, he led his brigade from the front and took the village of Merton. Was evacuated to Frankenlisch following wounds in the later stages of the Second Merton and only recovered in time to join the last stages of the war in Frankenlisch. Promoted to Major General by King Albert I and awarded the King's Cross and Military Cross for his actions earlier in the war. He led the Brumley Counter-Offensive and, though unsuccessful in taking the city, he did manage to withdraw in good enough order to make a fighting retreat to the City of Frankenlisch. Took part in the royalist last stand at Frankenlisch and was evacuated from the city by train and went into exile in New Edom. Was rumoured to have been the only officer above Brigadier rank to escape the massacre at Parliament Square but chose never to confirm this publically.

Gallandic Civil War - Along with other Vionna-Frankenlischian exiles, Spears went to Gallandia to take part in their civil war in 1972. He formed a brigade of these exiles named the King Albert Brigade in honour of his late King and fought with distinction at the Battle of Tillmaine where he led both a cavalry charge and an infantry attack, narrowly avoiding capture. He proved a capable commander of cavalry, raiding and skirmishing with rebel and Vionnan Red Army forces. In 1974 he was appointed by the Gallandic King to command the Gallandic Tirailleur Division de la Garde which fought at the Siege of Martineux and was the last unit to leave the city when it fell. At the Battle of Toulogne, he surrounded and captured three brigades of the Vionnan Red Army, accepting the personal surrender of their commander, Brigade-General Martin Evans. When the war ended in 1977, Spears married the daughter of a Gallandic nobleman, Maria de Refebre and left the country, sickened by the place which had claimed so many lives (including a third of its prewar population).

For as long as it has been under Imperial control, mines have existed to exploit these very resources. Unfortunately, the local populace has continuously proven to be resistant to foreign occupation and has required the deployment of Imperial Army Forces to maintain security at various dig sites and in the regional capital.

Born on March 4th 1981 to Mikhail Pavlenko Sr. and Angelina Pavlenko in Joyeah city. His dad worked in the Joyean Capital Police until he was shot and killed when Mikhail was 12 (1993). His mother never remarried. as soon as he turned 17 he joined the Joyean Air Corps as a TV operator on an AC-130. after his service he joined the federal police after 5 years he quit and joined the State Security Service. He usually keeps to himself with few friends but is a natural born leader.
