Dear Mr. Jenkins, the defense command reviewed your catalog and found many items suitable for our needs.
We would like to have a detailed proposal for the terms on which you could provide us with the equipment, payment options and deadlines you can reach.

Please include costs for yearly maintenance and training our infantry to use the different systems.

It will be reviewed by our defense command generals and the royal treasury.

The Royal Justice Department also requires you to provide information about the company ownership to avoid braking our embargo laws on trading armaments with rouge nations.

You are also welcome to visit Makakoo, and observe the Royal Defense Command, you will be provided with everything you need.

We are eager to do business with Crookfur Arms

Dear General,

Many thanks for your positive reply.

We are currently in the process of putting a full costing package together for you.

However i order that our proposal be as accurate as possible there are a couple of your requirements that I would like to clarify:

light weapons: By these do you mean side arms, sub-machine guns or possibly even light rocket launchers?
armored vehicles: Are these to be IFVs operating along side APCs or are these to be heavier armoured vehicles such as tank destroyers or even tanks?
land to air mobile rocket installations: Are you looking for a single type of SAM system here or a range of systems from MANPADS through to larger area defence systems?

I do apologise for askign these questions but if you could provide us with clarification of these requirements it will allow us to give you our best proposal.

In regard to the ownership of Crookfur Arms, i cna inform you that Crookfur Arms is a joint venture organisation involving the Crookfur Govenrment and several different manufacturing companies all of which are Crookfurian owned and registered.

many thanks for your time

Dear Mr Jenkins

please excuse us for not asking clearly we will be glad to clarify:

By light weapons we meant pistols, or another suggestion that can serve the same purpose. we need a reliable personal weapon for every infantry man, except the ceremonial sword they carry.

armored vehicles: These are only for the infantry so they are nothing like tanks, more like jeeps and hammers

rocket: we are trying to give our infantry a mobile effective defense measure against air attack, it can be multiple systems but has to be easily transportable and fast deployment, we understand that this system could be very expensive or complicated and in such case we will equip the forces with personal rocket launchers.

Best regards,
Gen. Lan Carlson, Makakoo Royal Defense Command

I am sure you would be glad to know that the Ocelatonia Weapons Manufacturing Corporation, an unofficial, government funded corporation, has a wide selection of carbines and similar goods. Our carbines all use similar receivers, thus all use the same type of magazine and caliber of bullet. This allows ammo to be shared between units and weapons.

May I direct your attention first to the M5-O33 High-Powered Carbine. This weapon is an excellent anti-personnel killing machine. It is cheap, effective, and powerful.
$3,500 per unit.

Manufacturer: Ocelatonia Weapons Manufacturing Corporation
Ammunition: 5.56mm rounds
Operation: Semi-automatic
Ammunition Capacity: 25 rounds per magazine
Muzzle Velocity: 950 m/s
Operation: Gas action, rotating bolt

Next we have a compact version of the M5, simply known as the Compact. This version has almost as much kicking power as it's larger brother, but is lighter, and more accessible.
$4,200 per Unit

Manufacturer: Ocelatonia Weapons Manufacturing Corporation
Ammunition: 5.56mm rounds
Operation: Semi-automatic
Ammunition Capacity: 25 rounds per magazine
Muzzle Velocity: 930 m/s
Operation: Gas action, rotating bolt

Finally we have the M2-O2 Light Carbine. Although this is a much larger weapon and doesn't have as much kicking power as the M5, it is a much cheaper option for the low budget country.
$1,600 per unit

As you might have noticed, these carbines do not initially come with ammunition. You may purchase the 25 round 5.56 caliber magazines separately.
$10,000 for 2,000 units.

This is one hell of a plan that will sky rocket our infantry capabilities, we are so glad that we will be working with your respectable company.

Because of the huge expenses the Royal Treasury asked for a 10 year payment plan, when on the first year you will get 4 billion, and the rest in equal yearly payments.

I have instructed all staff to cooperate with your company.

We have assigned a general to command the operation with your company, Lt. General Neil Starholm, and he is all yours for anything you shall require.

We hope that with your help we will become the best mobile infantry force in the region.

You are also invited by our command to attend the Makakoo Royal Science Academy Award Ceremony as a honored guest of HRH the queen.

Thank you very much,
