Altimaea Seeks AR Contract

Altimaea is requesting a contract for 50,000 assault rifles made to the following specifications to equip our elite Airborne units.
The weapon must meet the following requirements:
1.) Must be reliabe under harsh conditions e.g. snow, sand, mud.
2.)Chambered in 6.8mm caseless round and magazine capacity of at least 30 rounds.
3.)Must be compatible with RIS/RAS tactical rail system.
4.) Barrel length must be no more than 18 in. since it will be equipped with airborne troops.
5.) Must be compatible with M320 (similar to the M203) style 40mm grenade launchers.
5.)Cost shall not exceed $10,000 USD (United States Dollars).

Altimaea shall choose the winner according to our defense council. Thank you.

In regard to recently announced requirement for a new assault rifle we at Crookfur Arms are currently working on design to meet your requirements. In order to allow us to progress further with this and present a finalised option to yourselves I would like to request any information you might be able to provide in regard to your 6.8mm caseless ammunition. I would be msot obliged if you could provide this.

If you don't have anything specfic on the round you want to use don't worry I can live without it and if you wish I could probabaly flesh out and breifly stat the round out for you. In the absence of any other data would it be reasonable to think that you might be looking for ballistic performance on par with 6.8mm SPC but in a caseless round?

Yes it is a little shorter in length compared to 6.8mm spc, it is 38mm long. It's ballistics are similar to the 6.5mm grendel round due to our caseless round having a longer bullet than the 6.8mm spc, much like the grendel round. It is able to get the range of the 6.5mm but the bore of a 6.8mm because the caseless propellant is a top secret RDX-based compound. Your offer has piqued the interest of the Altimaean Defense Council and we will definitely be considering your rifle but would like to remind people that new offers are still being considered .

I can offer you Plasma Assault Rifles. They are fully automatic and have a mag. capacity of way over 30 rounds. The barrel is much smaller than 18 in. They are easy to use and only cost $700 USD.

Do you have any more information? We are only interested in projectile weapons as we don't have the technology to maintain plasma weapons yet. FOr $700 they must not be very good quality
