The Genesis GA9 is a long distance double deck airliner in the same class as the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747, and dimensionally very similar to the Boeing 747-800, this means that the GA9 can fully integrate with existing airport infrastructure, despite its large size. Rather than over wing engines of the previous Genesis airliners, the GA9 has reverted to underwing engines made by General Electric or Genesis, with the sawtooth design on the rear of the engine pods there to reduce the noise signature.

Flight control is fully fly by wire with 3 additional electronic back up systems in addition to the primary fly by wire system. Each of the 4 flight control systems monitors its 3 companions to ensure that every aspect of the flight control system is functioning properly. Should a flight control computer develop a fault, the other 3 computers will shut the faulty computer down, in the highly unlikely event that all 4 computer systems fail, a traditional hydraulic system remains as a backup, this all helps to make the GA7 one of the safest airliners on the market.

Looking forwards, the GA9 has a weather radar and a transponder, but also has a terrain collision avoidance system using a radar altimeter to measure how close the aircraft is to the ground. If the aircraft is flying too low for the terrain, should it be the case that the aircraft is at risk of controlled flight into Terrain, the system onboard will take over and begin to climb the aircraft over the terrain in question and so avoiding controlled flight into terrain.

Undercarriage
The GA9 uses 5 elements to its landing gear, these being a stanmdard two-tyre nosewheel, with a 4 element main landing gear, each with 6 tyres on as opposes to 4, this reduces the ground pressure of the GA9 and increases the braking ability over 4-wheel undercarriage assemblies. Development of the undercarriage is taken from the smaller GA7 airliner so there is a lot of parts commonality there, making it easier for technicians to work on. Like the GA7, each wheel has its own independent Anti-skid system, allowing to have superior braking performance in all weathers and conditions.

Passenger cabin
The cabin of the GA9 is bathed in soft blue lighting, giving a calm, relaxed feel to the aircraft, each seat is fully reclining and has a video screen in the rear of the headrest, regardless of what class it is located in. The seats, a development from the seats in the GA7 are some of the most comfortable seats in the industry, designed and built by ISRI of Germany. A similar design features in the high speed Orbis high speed train., not so much a case of a plane using train seats but the train using the seats from an aeroplane. reclining the seats is done not by a ratchet as in the days of early generation seats, but a small electronic servo actuator, giving infinate range of adjustment up to 30 degrees. A linkage in the rear of the seat keeps the drinks tray level and adjusts the angle of the headrest video screen allowing the passenger behind to still have the optimum viewing angle.

Bathrooms are loacated in 3 locations within the GA9 on each deck, each set situated above the set below, reducing the amount of pipework needed, these are in the centre of the front, middle and rear cabins. Galley locations are at the rear of the fuselage and just forward of no1 bathroom on the lower deck.

The GA-9, like the GA7 is available for purchase as a VIP aircraft, ideal for heads of state, this variant comes fully fitted out in the Art deco style, with interior furnishings reminiscent of the golden age of travel, inspired by the Orient Express train and the classic ocean liners. For government operations, we understand that your equipment you wish to fit may be classified and not permitted to be sent to another nation to be installed, a consideration which we fully understand, therefore should the GA9 be purchased for a role similar to Airforce one, It will be flown with all of its VIP fixtures installed to an airbase in your nation where it can be outfitted by staff and technicians security vetted by your government.
