My name is Jennifer Guardian, and I was recently appointed as your counterpart in Sky Corporation. As the new Corporate Executive Officer, it is my job, like yours, to ensure that the ship sails smoothly. Recent investigations from the team here at Sky through the use of market analysis has indicated that perhaps the Armaj Heavy Industries ship has hit a few icebergs. Indeed, "streamlining" is generally motivated by the desire to fling off excess mass, so as to remain profitable. In today's economic climate, this is perfectly understandable.

Sky would be much obliged to assist Armaj Heavy Industries in achieving this goal. Between 2009 and 2013, Sky underwent significant and rapid growth. This led to it overtaking the now closed Gordonopian Enterprises and, of course, Armaj, in becoming the world's second largest consumer conglomerate. It is our understanding that the significant losses Armaj is facing in hospitality and arms are at risk of causing Armaj to be overtaken by General Industries. Sky Corporation does not particularly want this. As a result, we are able to help Armaj recover.

Firstly, Sky intends to invest $500 million in what some market analysts are calling your "beleaguered" company to purchase non-voting stock. This would be in return for certain efficiency savings. For example, Bluebird Skyways and MeciFly need not exist as independent brands. Furthermore, we would insist upon the closure of unprofitable brands such as Stalingrad Soda and Eagle Financial Trust. Our $500 million investment ought to be spent on improving a core selection of brands and making them real players again in the market.

Secondly, Sky believes that there are perhaps too many conglomerates competing over too many things. The market has been in a downwards trajectory since the Gholgoth embargo. The demand does not exist, and the result is that ViZion World Corporation and Sky Corporation are taking the whole cake, leaving only crumbs for Armaj and General Industries. Our solution to this would be a corporate acquisition, which would be presented to the general public as a merger.

Sky would purchase a 49% stake in Armaj Heavy Industries for the value of $52.3 billion, and would sell a 49% stake in Sky to Armaj's Board for effectively free. The Sky Trust would then merge with the Armaj Board, forming a new Board of Directors. Rebranding would naturally occur, with the new company being known as "Arcsky," in reference to the trigonometric function of "arcsine."

Individual brands would be closed in relation to their success as a brand and to their recognition amongst the general public. This will most likely lead to different brands in different countries. The Armaj Board would contribute 5 members to an Arcsky board, whilst Sky would contribute 7. Whilst the public would see a merger for the benefit of both companies, the reality would be an acquisition for the benefit of your company.

The Crown Competition Commission has concluded an investigation into the practices of ViZion World Corporation (henceforth VWC), Armaj Heavy Industries (henceforth AHI) and General Industries Corporation (henceforth GIC), collectively known as "The Triumvirate", and has recommended to Her Majesty's Government's that the Triumvirate ought to be charged with "offences against the free market" by Her Majesty the Queen, Ellen I of the Dangish Empire.

The Crown Competition Commission was authorised to investigate breaches of the Competitive Business Practice Act, 1983 by Imperial Order No. 40673 dated January 2nd 1984. Unbeknownst to the Triumvirate, special agents of the Crown Competition Commission investigated the business practices of VWC, AHI and GIC in the "Triumvirate" within the Dangish Empire from November 2012 to September 2013.

Upon reading our recommendations, Her Majesty's Government has declared its intention to prosecute the Triumvirate with "offences against the free market" in "The Queen vs. The Triumvirate," for which the first court date is provisionally set at June 9th 2014 at Viney Crown Court in New London. The charge, "offence against the free market" details the organisation of independent corporations in order to hinder competitive processes and establish a monopoly.
