OUR STORY

The first store was small, and business started slow, but several key qualities would make Sérstakar surpass all others.

Hence, how Sérstakar, meaning excellent in Bederish Icelandic came to get its name and its great reputation.
The company continually expanded after a succesful first few years. In 1960 the second locations of Sérstakar: Original West Bederish Coffee House was opened. In 1961 the menu expanded past simply coffee, and Sérstakar began selling just as tasteful tea as well. By 1964 the company had fifteen locations. Then, in 1969 the first location was built outside of the Dejkerikvik metropolitan area in West Veydevarj. Later, in 1983 there was at least one Sérstakar location in every Bederish city.
