If that is however what you'd like, then we'll contact Hugo Follas to try and develop one, depending on your ecomic ability to pay for them that is.

Having been contacted by the Government, I am at the drawing board stage of development. I figure what you'd really need is something along the way of a bullet-proof, heat-resistant which is able to withstand the great force of landing (parachute or not there will still be considerable force exerted on the pod). It will then defintely need to be able to be cracked open as the last thing you want is soldiers trapped inside the pinnacle of modern technology. In general I would be happy to perform such a task and would like confirmation on whether or not to proceed.

Now it is important to remember that this is just basically a small chambre for your men to stay inside as such, those inside can liquidise if they do not pull the parachute and just hit the ground. They have to open their parachute at 10000 feet to slow down to a safe landable velocity. The 'Egg' (as it has affectionately been called) then cracks to allow your men to escape. It is important to note that sometimes the cracking device fails to operate, at which point the soldier can be stuck inside, I assume you do not want viable troops to be stuck inside chambres to starve to death so it is best to ensure that those inside have a certain degree of strength so they are able to escape by forcing the Egg open.It has adjustable wings, which can be tilted to change the direction of travel, but the Egg cannot be steered after it reaches a 11000 feet.
The cost to produce these drop pods is in excess of $600 million, and Henry Follas' time is very expensive so call it $750 million. If this is an agreeable price then by all means place an order, if not you didn't hear a thing.
